Best steroid for keepable gains?

ad

Given a very good pct, diet, and training, which steroid do you seasoned guys believe to be the best to keep size after the cycle is done. Obv you gain lots of size with anadrol but it would be dumb to think your gonna keep that water...often thought to be "muscle" lol

Anavar and primo. Id imagine EQ. I've never run a full cycle of eq. It's the one that fucks with my anxiety even more so than tren.

I like anadrol for pwo or a small dose for a week just to make muscles pop for asthetics. But I'm learning to just run more primo it lets harsh on the insides.

Oxandrolone. As long as you are cycling and going back on, oxandrolone has been proven to reduce fat stores up to three months after cessation of the drug. So if you are off for 3 months and go back on essentially one can keep reducing abdominal fat and keep it off, hence "permanent results" as long as oxandrolone is being used at the end of a cycle. So for the best keep able gains or fat losses in this instance my vote goes to oxandrolone.

i also find that pulsing orals help keep more of the gains also, wether its 3 days on 2 days off, or two weeks on one week off etc, i like to mix it up a bit, but when people are smashing anadrol out @ 200mgs a day for 6 weeks etc, they wont keep much of it, where as if you keep the dose lower, pulse it, you can run it longer with less sides and more keepable gains.

well said, the body just cant adjust to high dose blasts quick enough to hold the gains, i use to make that mistake when i was young. i would even add eq to the list with primo as well, long steady gains are easier to keep.

this is where the more isnt better point comes into play, best way to keep gains is lower dosed longer cycles, the more you blast the quicker you lose after cessation, thats why these younger guys look big then small, they smash high dose tren ace cycles and think their kings, then you see them the next month and theyve shrunk.

Most people who don't keep there gains is because they fail to continue to train hard and eat right and stay disciplined when they come off cycle.

Very true just look for dry compounds I guess, just don't wanna shrink up post cycle.

Eagles 2013's picture

I know waaaaay too many people who do that. They are "body builders" when they are on and weekend warriors when they are off

Irongame and Makwa pretty much hit the nail on the head when they pointed out that it really boils down to your diet and training post cycle. However, just to mix it up a little bit and try to take that point a step further, smart cycles with compounds that are easier to recover from will result in more gain retention with as proper put, diet and training regimen.

By smart cycle, I mean something like a 12 week test e with a test prop or D-bol kicker. Or for more experienced users a 16 week test e/deca or 12 week test e/tren.

If you go and run a 24 week test/tren/deca cycle and try to pct instead of jumping on trt you just may end up keeping less gains than you would have on a 12 week test e only cycle due to the very long (if any at all) recovery period.

Again, proper diet, pct and training is the best answer to your question. I just wanted to throw that in the mix as well. In the end it will boil down to using your head and actually APPLYING what you learn about retaining gains before you went on.

Best thing is to eat enough to maintain your new muscle mass. Go back to eating the same before your cycle and that is right back where you will end up.

I agree but I think the calories need to be lowered a little given the cortisol levels post cycle and absence of hormones in your body

On my opinion with how much you invest in a solid cycle- mentally, physically, emotionally and financially I think it's best to overeat slightly for a month or two after put to protect your gains and then cut any body fat than risk under eating and risking losing the gains you invested so much in. However, that does depend on cycle goals (bulk, cut, contest prep...). Just my personal $. 02

X2. Keep diet and training up and you should keep what you gained. Although they say eq and primo are easier to hold on to but I don't believe that. If you gain 10lbs of muscle from deca and 5lbs of water and drop the water you still kept all the muscle you gained. The only cycles that might be hard to hold into the muscle is really short oral only cycles which are retarted to do anyway. The body just doesn't have the time to adjust to the new muscle so it will drop it as soon as it can. So if you keep eatinf big and adjust your training you'll keep your gains. But a lot of people lose motivation after and stop eating and lose what they gained.

Read this and you'll keep your gains. https://www.eroids.com/forum/steroids-qa/pct-anti-estrogens/how-to-succe...
