Need new needles for TRT?
Hey gents, long time lurker, first time poster. Finally got on TRT after a few years of being low T. I've had plenty experience pinning my Injectable L-carnitine daily, along with HCG subQ (never as PCT, just as low T monotherapy)
I think I need new needles for my TRT. Once I injected the oil, I pulled the needle out of my ass and I inspected it, pulled back on the plunger and saw a good amount of oil being wasted/stuck in the syringe. I know some oil gets stuck in the needle which is fine, but this looked stuck in the orange plastic part that connects the needle to the syringe plunger. For reference I am using the a Safety Syringe w/Needle 3cc.
What type of syringes do I need? I have insulin needles in case of emergency but I don't want to do shoulder pins all the time.
Thanks

Guys.
No need for all that. Buy this about a buck thirty a peace. (McKesson Clave Vial Spike) Once done with vial gotta put a new one on the next one to play it safe.
All u gotta do is grab ur easy touch lour lock syringe
Twist it on the vial spike insert the plunger and grab how much u need twist it back off and twist on ur needle and bam good to go.
This works wonders for me. I’ve been doing this for 5 months clockwork.
No need to purchase 21/23 gauge needles to draw.
Game changer. And it doesn’t leak…
That’s the thing with luer locks. I’ve seen the nurses in prison not account for the last bit and not drawing enough, let me explain.. They believe as long as the black plunger is touching 1 ml it’s fine.. In reality, the convex/concave nature of the plunger needs to fully surround the marking line.
So while they say I’m getting 200mg of depo test I’m probably receiving 185mg of test.
It’s unavoidable with the luer lock.. there is a way to unscrew and add the .ml into a backloaded syringe but the unsanitary nature of that is bound to fuck with you .
Plus 200mg/ml cyp or enth doesnt have 200mg of hormone in it.
yes bro you get it... quite literally exactly what i see.
Whats the solution? I saw one syringe a while ago that had a plunger that went INSIDE that plastic bit to push out every last drop. What are they called do you know?
I have 1ml zero space but they’re not luer lock, it’s lure slip, if you wanna message me on telegram I can send pics back and forth way easier
@DapperDonald67
Zero dead space syringes. Or Low dead space syringes. And the 1ml barrels from easy touch have the plunger.
29 x 1/2 slin pin subq. Warm oil to 95degrees and draw. Warm pin and inject.
If you're BF% is low enough. A 27g slin works fine for myself for all injection sites.
So if you have low bf these will work fine for you

I like to use something like these. Should help leave little waste. Can see how the plunger is shaped differently and allows to push more oil. Low dead space
Bro! Good fucking post hands down this is a money saver over months and years, good looking out
I thought so too. It always bothered me the small amount left in there. Idk how I stumbled upon those but def less waste with them. Got that nipple shape on plunger Tha helps squeeze it all out. And like @Jaxattax86 said, pull plunger down before removing draw needle that way you don't lose that little bit as well
Always clear that before untwisting , that’s common sense, what happens if you untwist when the oil is in holding tank?
Like you're asking what happens when you don't pull plunger back before untwisting the draw needle? Just becomes lost juice. That tiny little bit of oil that was in the needle and space between needle and syringe will be gone and then will have to push that much more of what's in the barrel ro fill the injection needle
Yeah when I draw with an 18g, I usually get about .05ml out of the 18g before removing it. Not much, but def adds up.
For sure man. Especially if doing frequent injections over a 14+ week cycle.
Lmfao I have 60 & 100ml leur locks I use for measuring out nutrients. Fuck I couldn’t imagine someone filling one of them up and doing it at once rofl
I use these for IM injections when under 1ml https://amzn.to/4dS3dLV
If it’s a real small amount of oil or hgh/peptides, I’ll use ether 27/28g 1/2” or 31g 5/16” insulin syringes
I haven’t been able to find anything like the ones I linked larger than 1ml so unfortunately I still get some oil loss when using them. I try to minimize it by pulling the plunger back with the 18g still on to get all the oil out before putting the 25g on. Then I doubt it does anything lol but why let it go to waste, when I’m done I push air through and rub the tiny bit of oil on my skin lol
Pictured @Sterno using the 60ml barrel and just blasting into the heavens
I mean i only pin 20 units (40mg 3 times a week = 120mg/week)
so I guess I could use an Insulin syringe. With such low dosage I want to be precise. Do they make insulin syringes with an inch long needle? I can rotate between Rear delt and side delt, but I would eventually like to do ventroglute to take some pressure off my shoulders.
If you’re only pinning that little, you could always just do subcutaneous injections. I personally didn’t notice any difference between subq or IM. Have you tried that?
I can do testosterone cyp subq??? Wtf?? Haha
Yep. It’s the way my urologist told me to as well as the original TRT clinic I first started at. I wouldn’t recommend doing more than like .5ml subq, but anytime I do small injections I just do subq in my stomach or thigh. Super easy and quick and the insulin syringes have virtually no waste.
That’s a no brainer then. I legit do 20 units (40mg) so ill do that
My TRT dose is very similar to yours, but a little less. When I’m TRT dosing, I’m 40mg 2x a week. I’ve used as small as 31g 5/16” insulin syringes (they were actually the ones that the TRT clinic sent to use) and right into the thigh or stomach is easiest. I’ve gotten a lot better at IM injections so I can’t say it’s quicker but it is a bit easier and a slightly more comfortable and I like not having a lot of waste. It does take a few seconds for the syringe to fill, warming the oil up a bit can help that. Feel free to hmu if you have any questions.
oh shit I am banned28g insulin syringes are the best. less gets wasted and easier to draw up accurately vs with a 3cc syringe
anvilyes sir
It's normal for some oil to stay on the plastic colored part.
anvilNo way to get 100 percent out
