Bruise like marks on muscle?

ad

I’m at week 8 of a 13 week Test E cycle 500mg a week.

Ive developed a bruise like mark on my bicep about an inch below where the bicep and shoulder muscle meet. It started off as a bit achy and redness and has turned into what looks like a bruise, but is also a lump and fairly hard. It’s also starting to develop on the right side as well just a tad higher than the left.

I noticed it after I went a little bit harder at the gym then usual, I continued as normal for a few days but have recently stopped training biceps to try let it heal.

I inject about 4-5 inches above where the marks have developed in my shoulder muscle if that matters, I’ve had no issues besides some redness in week 1 and 2 of injecting and after that no issues.

Have I slightly torn some muscle tissue? Could it be just a random reaction to the injections? I’m worried if I start training again I could permanently damage and tear them badly.

Thanks in advance!

According to your last three posts man I’d say I’m a bit worried, it could be time to go to urgent care or just schedule some bloodwork with GP

Your body is hinting at something, all the last three posts could all have to do with improper injection protocol, using a shitty unreliable lab. Bathtub gear, kidney infection, something just tells me you should get checkup

I was wondering when someone would bring this up --

I’ve had my bloodwork come back and everything in it was normal, besides slightly elevated cholesterol and a severe lack in vitamin D. Other then that I am fine apparently. I think I’m just pushing myself too hard for someone with little experience.

Try not to overthink into it.. If your organs are alright,
Liver, blood and kidneys. I’m sure it’s more of a mind over matter situation . Take it slow though and enjoy the ride

In my experience mate, a bruise only happens on a muscle when a tear has occurred and the muscle has been bleeding at the time of tear/rupture. It sounds like its right in a known spot for this to happen too at the tendon insertion at the top of the bicep under or near the shoulder cap. It tends to go hard and form a lump over the next several days after the bruise has come through. The bruise never appears straight away at the time of injury - its normally a 24 to 48 hour delay. This is exactly what happened when I tore my chest with the hard lump forming - its basically scar tissue forming. I wouldn't work anything in that area for a while and if you can get it checked out. Normally you can tell if its injured because if you slightly stretch the area you get that sore muscle feeling but worse!

Seems like that might be the case then, I have 3 weeks left on my cycle would it be safe to say I’d better just let them rest for the rest of it? How long should I wait before I can start working them out again?

If its a tear then for sure, let it rest. Its very difficult to say how long you should leave it for it to fully heal as none of us really know how bad it is. I have had minor tears where I could train the area again after 3 weeks rest - albeit starting light again. I've had others where its taken a full 8 weeks for muscle to heal and again, beginning the motions with light weights again. At the very minimum you should be making sure there is no stiffness or soreness at the injury site, no bruising visible any longer etc and even then I would probably wait another 2 weeks from then to be sure. If you reinjure it again then you have to start the whole process over again from the beginning, and in injuring it again can make the original tear even worse than it was initially. After a few weeks of rest I usually begin general stretching of the area again to ease up scar tissue and try stop it from becoming permanent which will mean the muscle will become less flexible long term.

Could be tendon damage or muscle rupture could also be absces or oil from injections not done correctly. See a doctor and find out for sure … can you post a picture of it ?
