+ 20 Progress. 3 years of work.

ad

Posted pics about a year ago. Just another progress update. My body has changed drastically. I lost 100lbs. Then gained 40lbs back in the right places. Gym 7 days a week. Lots of hard work and a change of lifestyle and diet. Helped me beat my depression. Today i turned 50 and i feel amazing. still trying to get better everyday.

Elef89's picture

Congratulations! Obviously i need to show it to my friend who weighs +180kg and who couldn't lose even 7kg in a year taking semaglutide, simply because of lack of motivation.

Keep going in this way!

Thank you bro. Gym everyday for two hours 7 days a week no rest days. I don’t lift super heavy and go high reps. My diet was super strict when losing the weight i tracked everything and kept it under 1000 calories believe it or not. I’m a lot more lienent now and don’t really track anything now just try to eats lots of protein and nothing processed or unhealthy.

Fuck yeah man! Mid 40s and you’re just like fuck this weight. I’m not that guy. Turned from monster bad into monster awesome. Amazing work.

If you don’t mind me asking, did you get loose skin removal surgery? If not that’s insane. I’ve never seen someone tighten up that well after that much weight loss. Plus everyone always says it’s easier when you’re younger. You can’t even tell you were fat in the past really and at 50 that’s nuts.

Haze421's picture

Thank you for the kind words bro. Yes i had skin removal surgery on my stomach and sides but i still have a lot of loose skin on my chest and back. It was very painful and i suffered. I got an infection and thought i was dying. But i pulled through! lol. Want to get a revision but i am actually scared too. lol

HENCH500's picture

Guy I trained went through something very similar but he had a gastric sleeve and then came to me and started training. He had skin removal from his stomach and sides and developed sepsis but he got through it. He then had his chest done as well , he’s had a lot of tattoos to cover scars. His arms never needed any skin removal and I think that’s a lot to do with his training but he’s talking about having skin removed from his thighs now. The weight loss has changed his life he’s a different man now. Congratulations to you fella you’ve achieved so much I respect your hussle and the time, effort and dedication it’s taken

Thank you bro. My loose skin was the worst on my stomach. My arms legs and rest of my body look ok with the aception of my lower back. Really bothers me but i am not sure if i want to go through that again. Trying to build my chest up to fill in the loose skin around the bottom of my chest. But overall i am very happy with the way i look now. Thanks again for the kind words

People who change their lives this drastically have me beat in all areas of life, it’s beyond motivating.. The rough period of being in an unhealthy relationship coupled with drinking and low test I couldn’t even stand to look at myself in the mirror .. Let alone take pictures and share them with the internet

I can't even relate to being in his position as well as others can't relate. I can only imagine it has to be a struggle man and for him to keep on pushing is just amazing and that's on the real. You say he has you beat and that might be the case physically but you both looked into that mirror like real men should and basically thought enough is enough. Both y'all have a motivating story to tell that I couldn't even dare to relate to.

ChuckThaDuck22's picture

You’re the type DeeMan that could hold his own in the places I’ve lived from rough juvenile placements all the way to the state pen, there’s many thorough ass dudes living behind the wall because they can’t or won’t adhere to societal standards..

Basically anyone who’s a threat to their imperial machine becomes a political prisoner .. DeeMan I’ve seen cases , medical malpractice where these guys study in the law library day after day after day to become more educated than any lawyer I’ve ever met,

Take down the entire medical staff top to bottom and win their case in court, we are talking cases drug out FOR YEARS, these are God fearing Convicts who never hesitated to give a white boy the shirt off their backs, they took me under their wing and taught me scripture and how to live by the priniciples. I’m getting goose bumps

They show me a fight like @Haze421 does with unrelenting force. It amps me up, I’ll never lose a fight willingly, the hardest battle is in the mind, I have friends behind bars more free than any of us tied down to our demons on any given day

I love you all, truly

I just saw this. Wish I did grow up with a silver spoon in my mouth, but then again I've learned a valuable lesson in life growing up on the rough and tough side. Nothing to brag about. Going to more funerals than weddings isn't anything to brag about. Whatever circumstances life gives you, just gotta make the best of it. And what you spoke on in regards to inmates winning their cases in court has happened no doubt. I have a few close relatives that did hard long time in lock up. Hell one of them just got out. Mofo went in around 1997...got out a 2 years ago. He's got a nice little 425 bench on him too. Lol no legs though

ChuckThaDuck22's picture

It’s only applicable to brag if you can amass an empire on the outside world and keep it,.

Many props to the bull who did 25 years, I can only imagine what that’s like; one of my cellies has 40 more years to his minimum, worst mistake celling up with someone like that; they’re a different breed all around.

Going to funerals is something they brag about , some are just cut out for that life, you already know this

DeeMan's picture

I know I spoke on this earlier but this can't be the same person lol. No way. I don't think I've ever seen a transformation like yours before. Not even in those weight loss magazines. I know it's you though

Haze421's picture

It’s crazy how much my body has changed. I was obese. My body was disgusting. One day i looked in the mirror and i was like wtf. I did not recognize myself and that put me on a mission. No one believed i could do it. People laughed at me when i told them one day i would have abs. That made me stronger annd i wanted it more. And look i am almost there. One day i will be 100% and i am never giving up. I am definitely a man on a mission.

DeeMan's picture

I bet you are and I also bet your confidence is on top level. That's exactly why when I see someone overweight in the gym putting forth an effort trying to get in shape I gotta respect that. And NEVER let any of those clowns in the gym say what's not possible for you because if it's meant for you you'll get it. Good luck my man. Motivation 101

Haze421's picture

Honestly as much as i changed I still look in the mirror and see an imperfect body. I am still insecure about taking my shirt off at the beach or being shirtless around my girl. I am not 100% happy with the way i look. I guess that’s what keeps me going.

DeeMan's picture

Out of likes but that's exactly what's keeping you going and most folks. Man whatever the hell you do never let any clown tell you that you're not or haven't made any progress. You keep busting ya ass. Not soft talk but your results speak for itself. Just one more word....just be safe if you aren't already.

RJ2's picture

That is awesome, man!

Thank you bro

Yeah, that’s 100. Nowadays, few and far between are men with that kind of will to make a change

If that's not motivation to that guy that needs motivation then I don't know what is motivating
