Bloods on cycle. Fast or not.

ad

I know my test level won’t falter on cycle from fasting. When testing rbc, kidney, etc. do I need to be fasted for that? And if I do fast for the lab would I skip the oral that morning also as you would have no food and it could skew things.

Thank you

No need to fast for CBC. CMP fast if you want an accurate fasting BG. Fast if you are pulling cholesterol and want accurate numbers. I don’t think it matters if you take the oral or not. I personally would because I would want to see the most effect it had on my ALT/AST, GFR etc… Remember, these are on cycle bloods. Purpose, to see how these compounds are effecting you, allowing you make adjustments if necessary/desired

Some tests require being fasted, some don't. The answer is, it depends on what all you're getting tested. If you're paying for a test that requires being fasted and you're not then you are wasting money that you could be spending on more gear lol.
If you do fast for the test, skip the oral if it requires food
