What's up guys! (Plz don't hate on the posing haha I am doing the best I can - never competed)

Stats are 6’6, 247lbs as of the photos below (June 28th)

Ending the cut here for now. Last year I got down to about 239lbs you can see that post in my profile as Summer 2023 Cut/Recomp.
In 8 weeks, I went from 255ish to 247lbs. Nothing like wow incredible results but something I can be happy with. I experimented with some different compounds and was not happy with how they made me feel which led to a less successful cutting phase.

This year I pretty much stuck to the same calorie allotment every day except for rest days. On training days, I ate around 2,750 calories which broke down to 300P, 250C, 60F. On off days I would drop the carbs to 150-200 and keep everything the same. About every 8 or 9 days I would have either a cheat meal or a planned high carb day. On these days I would easily eat upwards of 4k calories.

Training Split: Stuck to a good ole PPL Split the only thing I changed is that I would always prioritize legs after a rest day. Often it was 3 days on, 1 day off. Some weeks it would be 2 days on, 1 day off or a combination of the two. Weeks 1-5 I did 30-40 min of incline walk 5-6 days a week. Weeks 6-8 I did Stairmaster lvl 6 for 30-40 minutes 6 days a week.

Cycle: Weeks 1-5 I experimented with TrenA at various dosages (175, 275 &– 350mg/wk) and overall, anything over 175mg/wk I am not excited about. It didn’t make me instant god mode or feel like a million bucks. Over 175mg/wk I turned into a sweaty, grumpy zombie with a raging libido. Not good hubby material. I did get some more vascularity, but I hated how quickly I was out of breath. Waking up multiple times a night, soaked in sweat just is not for me. As some of the vets have mentioned, it was not a good trade off – pros vs cons do not make it worth it for the recreational bodybuilder. Weeks 1-5 I ran right around 500 test, 400 mast and the varying doses of Tren. The last 3 weeks I kept test at 500 and put the mast at 300mg.

Overall, I got way better results the final 3 weeks of the cut. Something about Tren just made it harder to progress. Not sure if it was poor sleep quality or not being able to train as hard due to being out of breath constantly, or something else. I'm sure I added some muscle and did some recomp when I was using the tren for 5 weeks so I don't want to discredit that but to me it is important that I feel great on a daily basis so I can perform inside and outside the gym.

What I noticed for myself is that Masteron cancels most of the negative effects of tren and then I can try "higher" doses. It is very difficult to gain any mass on Tren. It is too good at emptying glycogen depots and burning. Otherwise, great appearance and posing. One cannot expect better from us who do not compete. You even did an artistic pose in the third picture Biggrin

I hear you about the tren sides but I do love the compound! For myself I found Seroquel at 12.5mg a night keep me asleep with little to no drowsy feeling next day. Also tren e 200 wk spit MWF. Everybody is different. Keep up the great work ----

Lookin good big red.

Smart to notice the downsides. In a deep prep scenario where you’re starving and not sleeping well anyway it’s worth it to throw in some tren for muscle preservation, 50mgs MWF.

Outside of that if a drug is going to negatively impact sleep, appetite, or training performance it’s doing more harm than good. Keep up the good work!

Just started DHB in the last 2 weeks so it’s to early to tell. So far tho yes 100% better. My mental state is clearer and honestly I have a very euphoric happy and feel good mood everyday. Was doing 40mg ED ~ 280mg weekly but yesterday I bumped up to 65mg ED ~ 455mg weekly. I’ve experienced some acne but that’s to be expected with me. I’ll be doing bloods in 4 weeks to see how the organs are looking.

Tren seems to limit my growth as well, I attribute that to its carb partitioning effect or whatver it is, but it just eats carbs like mrs.pacman, and I can never eat enough to keep up with it so I just can’t gain an ounce on he stuff. Also no sleep is the real killer for me, if I could sleep I’d probably like the stuff. Also it’s redlining your CNS and cortisol levels and stuff like that which can also limit your progress

Good work brother, you nailed it on the tren. No need to explain it anymore than you did . Very hard and unhealthy to sustain that compound for anyone really. I had my run with it in my early 20 s and it never got better. Like you said, feeling good on cycle is where it’s at.

Tren Asphyxiation is no joke is it mate, most off putting thing about it as it makes you not wanna go for the big sets as much as you know how much you'll be suffering afterwards for 5 minutes lol

HAHA! 6'6 with no shoes so any shoe I put on immediately makes me 6'7 lol -- so you got a point there!! But yeah man the breathing sucks and I felt that immediately at 175mg/wk. Its funny, I had just gotten into running the week before starting and my mile time was a little under 9 minutes. By the end of the first week of 175mg I was up to like a 10+ minute mile. Haven't done any running since!

I’d say legs looks pretty good seeing as you’re a goddamn tree. It ain’t easy having legs that “look” big when your femur is as long as some pro bodybuilders are tall.
