+ 5 8th Grade... 14? For 23sparta

ad

YES @23Sparta I'm a few miles past my prime and over the hill, it's been a good run though. I really appreciate you guys. This pic was taken while I was in the 8th grade. Obviously I was all natural but I admit to experimenting with weight gain shakes. I started lifting weights in 6th grade. To all you guys, my foundation wasn't great but at least have a decent foundation before starting gear. I started using gear many years later.

My lifts ( max) during this particular time have been edited out due to privacy and or security

  1. How many girls did you have by that time hercules
DeeMan's picture

How many women you had in highschool? Don't tell me you were shy...not a smooth talker like you

DeeMan's picture

First off not not even close to what you had Hollywood. I had steady girlfriends but a few creepers. Just young and innocent man.

I did beat up a few BULLIES though. Done them bad! No issues in highschool afterwards. For the most part I was always a chill dude. Not looking for trouble.

23Sparta's picture

Damn, you’ve been at this your whole life DeeMan, respect. That’s a swag ass pose right there, for real. They don’t know about the hand on the hip, that’s some pirate shit, suuuuper gangster. Appreciate you sharing this, just ads to your credibility, not that you needed it though. 300lb bench press at 14 is just plain savage. I pretty sure you just got into some heads and burst a few bubbles, myself included. Now I gotta think about that next time I slide under an Olympic bar. Thanks DeeMan, now I’m probably gonna blow out shoulder competing against a 14yo old you lol

DeeMan's picture

I appreciate that boss. Lol told you all I was always fascinated with strength as a youngster and not so much size. I was told long ago that telling the truth is always easier than remembering lies. Being so young I just was clueless honestly. Looking back now, I can honestly say that my lifting wasn't normal for my age. But those that knew just knew. Even though I was clueless I had goals but I just wasn't guided much. Truth is truth. Thanks for the positive support and keep working hard my man!

23Sparta's picture

Bro, you say you were clueless as a youngster, I say you were way ahead of the game

DeeMan's picture

Thanks man. Honestly alot of my old buddies said the same thing. Not trying to be all humble but it's all just a blurr to me and I don't talk about it because of that. As if it never happened. My buddies don't understand when I say that.

23Sparta's picture

Naw man, I get it. You already know, I understand

DeeMan's picture

Sounds strange I know. It's like you blacking out that particular period of time

23Sparta's picture

Yeah, I never thought of it like that. For me, maybe it’s a self defense mechanism, cause I for sure am appreciative of that blur

DeeMan's picture

I think it may be a defense mechanism. I never understood it. But I remember Mike Tyson saying the same exact thing when interviewed. Not comparing myself to him but there's definitely something to that way of thinking. Thanks man seriously.

Lol you can't bragg about it because it's a blur.

23Sparta's picture

Well, that’s we keep pushing and make new memories to give something even better to talk about

DeeMan's picture

Exactly...well said my brother..well said

You were benching 300lb at 14?

100% I did....when you're young and naive you tend to take things for granted. Rare feat but not uncommon. I remember hearing of a few bigger guys lifting heavy at 14 or 15 which is very rare though. If I saw that today I probably would think they're on gear. Just saying

pingree24's picture

Genetic freak my dude. I had a friend at 20 yrs old all natty weighing 168lb benching 300lb so I've seen it personally

If you don't know then you don't know. Seeing is believing. A friend of mine in highschool weighed 147 and benched 305 at 5'8 and all natural. He definitely wasn't a big guy at all. He and I pretty much had the same goals. Like I said if I saw that type of thing today I probably wouldn't believe it but I should know better than to doubt. I gotta look at it that way because that's only fair.

pingree24's picture

Yeah, my buddy Tom was about 5"8 165-168 lb and when he put up a 300lb bench I was pretty shocked lol.

He is now super jacked and walking around at 200lb. He didn't jump on until 30ish so he lifted 10yrs natty.

The funny thing Is his cousin was a much bigger guy at 220lb and there bench was the same.

P4p Tom was the much stronger and athletic guy.

Thanks for the picture D always appreciate your post

pingree24's picture

Bro, seriously I've never seen anything like him in my life. When his cousin Brian said they benched the same I didn't fucking believe it to be honest until I saw it for myself.

He was never a super big guy but strong as hell.

He's like that Anatoly guy on youtube you see him and don't think he is super strong then he completely shocks you with what he lifts

O yea trust me I believe you even if some don't believe it. Small guys with strength, especially at that weight is impressive. I've seen those guys in competitions

pingree24's picture

Yeah it's pretty cool to see honestly.

Damn Pretty impressive numbers for an 8th grader , i unfortunately didn't lift til i was 16, due to the " you wont become taller if you lift weights" myth.

DeeMan's picture

I remember hearing that also. When I started I just did 3 sets of 10 on the benchpress and I did two sets of curls but nothing more.

DeeMan's picture

I wouldn't doubt that. All you Russians tend to be big lol. I want to see that pic of you at 19. Thanks for your support always.

DeeMan's picture

Nah my man I don't even operate like that lol. Heck this pic will be taken down soon anyways and on top of that I'm basically just a kid, well young teen but still.. In fact I'm gonna harass you until you post that pic!

DeeMan's picture

I'll check it out. Bet you look like a Russian lol

HENCH500's picture

Still got them there guns fully loaded bro . At 14 that’s impressive I seen guys running gear with smaller guns

Coming from a big house like you that means alot lol. How many calories you consume a day? 20,000? Nah but all joking aside thanks man.

HENCH500's picture

When I’m bulking about 5.5k give or take, if I’m coming in low for any reason i do cheat and top it up with cream / chocolate milk and occasionally pizza …. I know a load of rubbish but chicken , beef pasta rice eggs meal after meal gets a bit much sometimes. You had me beat at 14 … way back then I was just starting my first borstal sentence at werrington house and it was circuit training every day it was actually that place that got me into training

DeeMan's picture

Man I'll keep it 100. You guys are just meant to be big. 5.5k is alot of calories and I'm not close to that. I feel you because I get tired of the same ole chicken and rice. Gotta eat slop and cheat every now and then..I do. But it's rare.

And about me at 14.. I just think I was meant to be strong that's all. I was an athlete too
