+ 2 What's your belief on the paranormal

ad

So I was just talking about this with someone I work with. Do you guys believe in the paranormal? If so why? I'll get into my experiences later if you guys would like to hear

I have the same gift/curse of a ridiculous memory. I can remember being in preschool, what a wore for Halloween, etc. it’s a phenomenal gift that has helped me succeed in my career, but on a personal level it can be very traumatic because it’s impossible to forget anything. I also have the ability to read people and their behaviors without having a conversation. This tends to annoy my wife sometimes because we can be in a restaurant and I can just look at someone and take their inventory. My wife on the other hand has a very creepy gift where she can feel ill, anxiety, anger, or happiness just from walking into a room or by making eye contact with someone. She will feel nauseous and know something bad happened there or this is a bad person. Crazy shit, but I believe it all. I feel they are built in defense mechanisms that we get better at understanding as we age. My wife won’t play it with me anymore, but we can literally sit down with a Ouigia board, and it will start moving immediately, and I mean fast, flying over letters too fast to record what it’s spelling. And it wasn’t just one time. It’s every time, so my wife swears she gets a bad feeling from the spirit talking to us and refuses to play it anymore.

Drexyl's picture

Exactly this, there’s probably a lot of people that have it, maybe we all do, who knows. Some are more in tune with it, some may have turned it off at a very young age because of fear. It’s a fascinating topic to discuss for sure

If you want proof that somehow there is some subconscious connection on the world. Womens periods matching up jus because there in the same building togethor a lot.(which is fucking wild and no one ever talks about it lol) and trees warning other trees about bacteria growth or an invasive species and there roots aren’t touching cause they’re pretty far away. Both those things are crazy to me and prove to me there’s more than meets the eye

Many moons ago, my ex-girlfriend invited her cousin over to our apartment. Let me preface the story by stating I had never met her cousin prior to this encounter, nor did I know anything about her. Her cousin and I struck up a conversation, which turned into us making a few jokes. I don't recall the context of the conversation, but I made an off the wall joke about dumping a body down a well. As soon as I said that, she bolted for the bathroom and locked the door. My ex-girlfriend and I could hear her balling her eyes out. My ex then told me how her cousin served several years of prison time for being an accessory to murder after the fact. Her cousin's boyfriend murdered a man, and she assisted him in disposing of the body by dumping it down a well. Needless to say, my ex's cousin thought that my ex had told me about her criminal past. I can't say I blame her for thinking that way.

I know it was sheer coincidence I made the stupid joke. But my mind was fucking blown! What are the chances I would make a joke, one I have never made prior to or since that time, with a person who actually dumped a body down a well? I should have charged a fee for psychic services (LOL).

Exactly this, the odds of it being that specific are ridiculous. Chopped up, burned, inside a car trunk and pay the lot owner a few grand to crush it right away, but no. You said thrown down a well, who the fuck does that? There was a reason you said that.

JakeKO's picture

Absolutely, the spirit of the person thrown down the well probably instilled this thoughts into him. Down a well???? Exactly, who would dispose of a body that way? Where can you even find a well to throw them down these days? Crazy stuff

You have good intuition. Thats exactly what it is. Some folks do have. I do to a certain extent. We'll talk later

Did you see that telepathic forensic expert person that discovered that kids body in the mountains or wherever it was - think it was an FBI one?

Drexyl's picture

Yeah, it’s strange shit, but it exists. There’s 100% something to it all. The government has put a lot of time and money towards research and development.

JakeKO's picture

The government and religious groups also like to play it down, even though they hold a lot of the secrets to this phenomenon

Drexyl's picture

It’s much deeper than that, very hard to describe. It’s more than what’s seen and heard, there’s nuances that can be felt…

I'm a man of science but me and all 5 of my roommates experienced crazy shit in our college house. One day I was in the shower and nobody was home and someone pounded on the adjacent wall and scared the shit out of me. I jumped out of the shower hella pist and ready to throw down full of adrenaline. However nobody was in the damn house except me. All the roomies were gone just like when I got home prior to the shower. It was like that weekly in that house and I haven't experienced anything since. I found out a few years later that a guy that lived their right before us crashed his crotch rocket and died. Spooky shit.

Christophany's picture

I'll say I have had my share of strange experiences that seemingly cannot be explained away. But I am acutely aware of the power of the mind and its ability to play tricks on us. I'm inclined to think supernatural experiences have a perfectly good scientific explanation.

Who knows? I might be wrong. We only see what we choose to see.

Paranormal supernatural definitely, there's some crazy things out there and experiences that just can't be explained otherwise. Demons and ghosts definetly! I think Bigfoot is out there somewhere too, skinwalkers sure. Vampires and werewolves nahh lol

I have experienced some truly terrifying shit that makes horror movies seem uninteresting to me. I never believed in demons, until I did. I was never a religious person, still not but the things I've witnessed made me question all of that. I still don't believe my experiences are truly what they said they were but I do believe that people have the ability to become their darker sides and the soul can twist.
I feel I have a decent but still vague understanding of the phenomena people experience, ghosts, demons, various other entities but I try to avoid it.
My views are, don't go looking for it and if you find it one day by chance, go the other way because once that door opens, it may never close and it can ruin your life.

I’ve seen and experienced some rather phenomenal things in life so far. Some completely unbelievable, and some that can always be passed off as coincidence, although I could sense there was a higher power at work. I also believe in the dark arts, from voodoo to satanism. I truly believe that there is so much we don’t understand, and the ones that do figure out, are all willing to sell their souls to benefit from it.

Yes. Have gone on many ghost hunts and got pictures, evp's, etc. One place had so much going on I got many pictures of the whole room full of multi sized/colored orbs.

JakeKO's picture

But did you find blood samples???? @DeeMan
lol!

Just kidding, Jock. I give you a lot of credit for going in those fucked up places. I’d be scared of something coming home with my ass

Jockstrap's picture

I got a picture of a demon once and was attacked by a ghost on a military base during hunts. Most of it is spiritual in a way, lost souls. But theres bad out there. I did find my old camera that had the pix. If i find them i will surely post. Especially the orbs!! The demon was in an old historic bar where many died in gun fights. Old west towns.

Edit...the demon looked like an abnormal dog type face. Kinda like a foo dog but really creepy bizarre. I took like 50 pix in this stairwell because something felt very off. When the face popped up i was unnerved a bit.

Coming home with a bad thing can happen and that does concern me. We pray after trying to be "clean" but you are human and have no real power.

JakeKO's picture

It’s so much creepier when you realize how real it truly is. As much as I’m drawn to it, I try to ignore it or I can become obsessive about the whole thing

DeeMan's picture

you're wrong for that LOL! Man
leave the Jock alone. He's my new friend. Feels like we've been knowing each other forever!! That's how it is sometimes @JakeKO

DeeMan's picture

POST IT or it didn't happen....lol @JakeKO

JakeKO's picture

I would love to see that stuff. I can’t tell you how often I’ll be flipping through channels and end up watching some ghost hunting thing. The thought of ghosts doesn’t bother me as much as the thought of demons. Those fuckers possess you. I’m sure our mental hospital are filled with people with unexplained mental illness which are due to possessions. Modern science has convinced people that everything is caused by chemical imbalance or neurological issues, but there’s got to be more to it

DeeMan's picture

And you're right, there is definitely more to it than chemical imbalances, not to minimize chemical imbalances though. I'm not a scary guy but you just don't want to invite anything demonic. No sir. Certain folks laugh but history has recorded many folks being possessed. I just stay away from things like that and mind my own damn business. No one wants those demonic problems, they aren't ready!

JakeKO's picture

I’m with you 1000%
