+ 4 How Many Protein Shakes Do you have per day?
ad
Since the amount of protein we can digest in one sitting debate has reared its head again, I thought it would be interesting to see how many shakes everyone has on a typical day. This is assuming 40 grams per shake, so if you consume 80 grams of shakes over the day then vote for 2, or if you do not use them and prefer food only then click Zero.

KonstantViktorySuper easy clean protein shake... Grab a bag of beans and raisins... Sounds gross but a quick chug makes for a nice convenience.
Boil your beans, add raisins and blend that shit until smooth.
Not had protein shake for ages. I absorb enough protein from calories & the extra weight gain from shakes just made me feel bloated
2 whey iso and one muscle milk pro loaded with egg whites and PB after the weights
steelrunnerI slam back like 2 shakes a day, that's 80-90 grams of the good stuff. One right after I destroy the weights in the morning, and another when the evening rolls around. Helps me keep those gains coming But hey, can't just live off that powder life, gotta get my chow from real food too, keep it balanced and all
2-3 shakes mostly, but sometimes a cheeky one overnight
OOooofff Naughty
Usually one double scoop shake to meet protein goals. Sometimes two.
3 sometimes 4 shakes of 2 scoops
How you keepin bud - you alright?
Probably drowned from to many shakes
none but I be eating like 2 ribeyes on the daily lol
2 double scoops whey and water and 1 single scoop casein and milk
AK802 of the Redcon1 MRE with 16oz of whole milk during bulking; 1 with lunch and 1 with dinner. During a cut it's just 1 of the Nutra Bio Whey Isolate shakes post workout.
Nutra bio very FANCY. I use the EAA’s
AK80Well I get 20% off at my local shop in town if I wear their T shirt so...
LOL If you walk in wearing their T-shirt you get 20% off??!
Shit. Sounds like a great deal to me More mom & pop places should learn this practice. Just the advertising alone is worth it
Its actually a good idea isn't it!! Lol
none. I drink blended cottage cheese with a scoop of PB and some oats, with some water to lower the viscosity.
I make ice cream with my ninja creami using cottage cheese, Fairlife, swerve, vanilla, and guar gum. Cottage cheese is quite versatile once blended.
Lol back in the days when I didn't get terrible skin problems from dairy I'd mix 500 grams of cottage cheese with water till it was drinkable and just downed it like that. Easy and cheap 40-50 grams of protein.
bruh... whey is cheap lol
Whey doesn't do well with me, nor does most dairy but for some reason, cottage cheese gives me no bloating, no sluggish feeling
Christopher JonesI want the best u can supply
I hear Press Industries Dianabolic Mass is pretty good pal
Christopher JonesFantastic but I'm starting out for first time in 8 years.
2 at work for the most part I try not to do more then that protein powder wise or I am farting up a storm.
Get better protein. Maybe pne with digestive enzymes in it
Most if them fuck my stomach up except for the bone broth protein powders. Also I don't get tired of the way they taste like other ones. Those also usually don't have fake artificial sweeteners.
I may be interested in try it. If inadd salt & pepper will it taste like soup
Nah they have regular flavors like Chocolate and Vanilla

They have ones that are water ones. Called clear protien. Try it. It’s like Gatorade. Matter of fact Gatorade makes one
Oh ok Mr. Moneybags over here getting the $2/serving protein powders. I’m assuming you store them in your Lamborghini?
I’m not hating….just jealous.
That’s why I just stick to Farm eggs
That's just an example, other companies make them for less. But if you're not absorbing the protein and you are just shitting it out then it's not worth saving money
I have to remember to save this.
I aim for whole food but do a whey isolate post workout
You do surprise me there buddy - as easily the Strongest Bench presser on this site I thought you'd probably have multiple shakes per day?!
You must get through A LOT of food then Bro!
I eat about 6 times a day. Aim for 250-300grams protein
What are your favourite meals and protein sources?
Venison, beef and chicken mainly
Nice one on that Deadlift figure I saw you post the other day, you put 100lb's on the bar in no time.
Im in straight cut mode right now. I added injecable l Carnitine and im dropping fat crazy fast.
That carnitine inject is taking the world by storm
I saw somebody mention that earlier on and the benefits it brings in training.
I drink 3 meal replacement shakes with egg whites and eat 3 meals
That’s about par for the course for me also. Whey immediately PWO, casein before bed and usually one blended time release like Synthia-6 throughout the day.
I've always meant to try that BSN stuff in the nice red tub - never got round to it though lol They were the first company to ever produce an NO2 product that I saw!! Takes you back some ....
Currently my diet has 2.
I have one at breakfast, along with cream of rice and egg whites. Only 24g whey with cream of rice than 8oz egg whites.
Then one post workout 2 scoops for 48g protein, 5g glutamine.
Other 4 meals are whole food.. I hear too many say 0 the real food thing which I get. But I know personally quite a few pros who use whey heavily on travel, and even not traveling they do 1-2 a day.
Hell ronnie used one post workout, I asked people about his famous 3-4 scoops of BSN and strawberry Nesquick. It was real. When he was off season he’d do it but also had a forbidden drug
I am guessing that was around 100g of Protein shake he was taking in per time?
Most I have done on a few occasions was 75g but then I couldn't eat afterwards for about 2 hours at least Lol
