But anyway, this was me after I Benched 405 for 4 reps (I have managed 5 to 6 before) and I am 200 pounds.

My bad I never replied to your comment about your 470 bench at 185. But yea that probably would of been a competitive lift had you competed in competition. But since you're being transparent about your bench I owe you and eroids the same...weight between 220-240, remember you swore I was your weight lol and depending on weight between high 400 to 500 plus on bench raw. Officially but just claims I know.
It's only official if it's a 1 second pause in competition as you probably already know. You say I look like a bodybuilder which I can't see but strength is my best feature not how my body looks. Just being clear. But hey looking like a bodybuilder is a compliment so that's appreciated. Nice to come clean about it all. Feels good.

Look swole brother! We both have similar chest shape genetics, I have those like indent ridges in the middle and two separate pecs not touching each other also. But you got a lot more meat on that upper chest, actually your upper chest is really beefy lol what do you do for upper?

What you see there is purely just from Flat Barbell pressing buddy - I don't train shoulders or biceps. Tri's get involved in benching and biceps a bit in deadlifts. They say flat bench only hits lower pecs but I still think it hits the overall area pretty well. My sets are in between 1 to 3 reps for powerlifting bud.

I think I wanna do a powerlifting training cycle for like a month or two, just to see what happens. I’ve always trained moderately light weight with higher reps, like basically the opposite of powerlifting. I think the change would probably give me great results. Just cause it’s so different then what I’m used too. And also I think if your training a muscle it’s going to hit all of that muscle, it might target a certain area more but it’s not gunna just completely ignore the other half of the muscle. Like if you only did incline bench you wouldn’t just be missing a whole bottom chest lol

Although I've never really done hypertrophy based training, the occasional time I have done 6 to 10 reps it for sure does feel good - but I've always felt I got bigger doing doubles and triples to just below failure. If you can really get your CNS tuned in to the point where most of the muscle is being activated then you can get a great pump off it and do get some thickness. It isn't always guaranteed though as when training heavy you always have to be fully recovered and on form to make the most of a session. When you go lighter you have a greater leeway for errors and can still be a bit stiff but really get all of the muscle working.

You could easily improve it mate if you start hitting it twice per week - do 1 light session & 1 heavier one. When I was younger I was able to hit it heavy twice per week and got great results from doing so but as I get older it takes much longer to recover things especially in the shoulder joints.

405 for 4 reps is impressive for 200lbs. My best was 5 reps and I was like 220lbs juiced to the gills. My press was not ever anything to boast about . I did 315 on the smith seated shoulder press for 3 once I thought that was strong. I can pull weight better than press.

I did 5 with 405 when I was 185lbs somehow - it was in my Tren days when I was leaner and my appetite was worse, you know how it is with that stuff though - doesn't seem to matter what your lifestyle is like you STILL get stronger on it Lol Don't think I will ever catch you on Deads though, I will give it my best though Tone LoL
