You’re getting some good advice here. Just to say it’s a nice change to see someone taking the critique in the right way, (including my feedback in the other thread), rather than throwing toys out of the pram. Nine times out of ten it’s not the case.

Good attitude you’ve got and if I can help in anyway drop me a line anytime.

press1's picture

Put up an outlay of how you are training bud, including the Exercise, Weights used, Reps done and Sets. Can all be approximate if you cannot remember exactly. To me it looks like you are not training correctly in the way you are doing things, its not nutrition or gear side that you are getting wrong.

press1's picture

I've put my thoughts on your Training programme buddy Good

SimonM84's picture

You need to focus on incline dumbells, cable decline flies and train traps, shoulders mixing volume and heavy weight. That’s not how you bulk and you shouldn’t be fixated with gaining mass. You should instead be focused on refining your physique by perhaps dropping 10 lbs and “SLOWLY” build through the gears. 4K calories is alot of calories. You don’t look like you should be consuming more than 2000k

This isn’t knocking you, I’m just letting you know you can do this more effectively by using the advice these guys give you without the need for cycling. You’re at least a year away but you did add muscle mass but you don’t have to do it by going up to 228 then cutting back to 190. There are easier more practical ways for you to achieve your goals.

MikeHawkJuices's picture

Yeah that makes sense. I do try to focus more on form and controlling the weight with slow negatives. Never really liked fast reps/ throwing weight. Training and Nutrition post coming soon. Thank you for the feedback and helping me understand how to post!

SimonM84's picture

You need reps but alternate it with failure sets. I’m training someone that has your starting physique and he’s putting on a good amount of muscle while dropping fat. You have plenty of work to do without cycling and if done right, you’ll be completely improved by the summer.

I would get off the gear asap.. something is wrong here

I think he needs to list how he is training - Exercises and sets/reps.

Bro you don't have a clue as far as training goes. DO NOT KEEP TAKING GEAR

Owes a Review × 1
MikeHawkJuices's picture

Bro I hear you, like the 3rd time you've said this. I'm not on gear currently and after the feedback I've gotten and the research I've done I don't plan on taking gear till I improve my training and nutrition. Probably years from now. Thanks for the input!

SimonM84's picture

OP, instead of making several different posts

Just use the 5/15 as a before picture where you posted here https://www.eroids.com/pics/05.15.2023

And this current one on this list as an after because you will get karma for your progress.

MikeHawkJuices's picture

I was curious if the way I was going about this was too complicated so thank you for that. Is this better? lol

SimonM84's picture

That works

Bearded_muscle's picture

I see below you want to do open class BB. I would say if you really buckle down and work hard, you might be able to do it in 5 years, probably closer to 7. But you’ve got a lot of muscle to grow and that just takes time.

DavosD's picture

You could have achieved this without steroids after 1 year of lifting and eating right...

Steroids are not for you, eat and train right first.

NWApatches's picture

It's damn sure not for everyone. The concept of working hard and food is a lot to wrap ones mind around...

Sorry but you looked better before. This is not good.

Ok he has work to do and alot to learn but I think saying he looked better before is going too far

in terms of what? Yeah I still have fat like in day 1 pic but at least I have more muscle mass now. I'm happy with progress and results so far but I'm not complacent. Always looking to grow and learn and I know I'm no where near my best self. Please, let me know exactly what you think was better before vs now?

How much is or was your coach charging you. And did he write down exact meals or just gave you the macros.

MikeHawkJuices's picture

$90/month. 1 coaching call per week. He gave me written meal plan and training routine. The training changed every month but not by much. He was pretty cheap which now that I think about it, probably wasnt a good thing in the end. He was a good guy but never really explained why we did the things we did, just said "here you go now do it."

wanted's picture

That is pretty cheap around here it’s minimum 300.00 monthly and 1,800 -3,000 (18) week contest prep
Hey in the end you did learn acouple things to do AND somethings not to do.

Rosschestzip's picture

Ya it was cheap but he got what he paid for. The trainer probably doesn’t know a lot and can’t help much but can help someone who literally knows nothing so he knows he can’t charge much because he’s not really offering much

I just had a friend drop 1800 for 16 weeks. He's 24. Coach told him to drop the trenbolone acetate and only run 500mgs of test. He dropped the coach instead.

What are your goals !!!!
Are you a shake or whole food. Im guessing shake.

MikeHawkJuices's picture

Goals are to be a mass monster. Classic is cool but Ive always wanted to be compete in Open. I did have a goal to do my first show 2025 but honestly dont feel like im even close to where I should be. started serious bodybuilding 3 years ago. Ill post my very first check in pics later and link here.

HENCH500's picture

You’ve been serious bodybuilding for 3 years seriously? What’s your training split ? What are you eating ? Something is really really off here and I’m not taking the piss but you should of made much much more progress in 3 years than you have

MikeHawkJuices's picture

I hear you man. I did struggle with training at the beginning (first year). I had no idea what heavy weight was or even failure. Once I joined a local bodybuilding team that a buddy of mine is a part of I finally was put through hell and experienced that. the last few months I have been cruising when it comes to training. I blame it on the fact that I was in a cutting phase but that's BS. I was just being a bitch. Im ready to start lifting heavy ass weight and pushing to failure again. just finished moving and finally settled in so priority moving forward is training and nutrition. Thanks for the honesty!

HENCH500's picture

Ok so listen best thing for you to do is start a log on here … detail your daily training and everything your eating and the times your eating it every day send me a link to that log and I will watch it for a few days to a week and see if I can spot where your going wrong because buddy something is not adding up for 3 years seriously bodybuilding . I’m sure if you post all these details and don’t mind constructive criticism then there’s a few good guys here who will chime in.

Owes a Review × 1
MikeHawkJuices's picture

I am totally open to constructive criticism. Next post I plan to outline my training and nutrition. as for timing on meals I try to eat every 2-3 hours (more like 3). Will start on this today and link post here. Thanks!

Well goodluck man. Chase your dreams. I wish you the best. And yes putting up pictures helps you keep accountable to your progress.

FitSRQ's picture

I wonder if ralox would take care of that for him? I'm never used it before but from what I've read it is pretty useful in minor gynecomastia like this.

MikeHawkJuices's picture

should I be taking AI if I'm not on gear?

FitSRQ's picture

Normally no. But if your blood work was abnormal it might be something worthwhile.

MikeHawkJuices's picture

This was on cycle towards the end but before my last pin.

Testosterone: >1500 ng/dL
Free Testosterone: 39.9 pg/mL
Prolactin: 9.7 ng/mL
