So do they have Dentists in there and things like that? If you have toothache do they give you a filling and try fix it or do they just pull everything out lol

Both the county jail and prisons I was at, dental care was TERRIBLE. Dentist only came once a month, so if you had a problem…you have no choice but to wait. They do absolutely shitty work, only fillings and pulling. Possibly in adult prison, they MAY give you partial dentures if your shit is real fucked, but I actually have a friend, who is now petrified of dentist. When she was in prison, the dentist barely numbed her, and pulled 4 teeth. She said he literally put his knee on her to use as leverage to pull the tooth out. The girl literally cried just thinking about going to a real dentist on the outside she’s so scared now.
Health care wasn’t much better. There solution to basically anything was ibuprofen and water. They don’t give you medication that you were prescribed on the outside. You can try and see a psych, but he’ll threaten you with sending you to medical unit, which if you really wanna hate your life, go there. You’ll be bored outta your fucking mind.
Not really sure but state paid insurance is good.
Was there prison work you could do to make some money?
No money in county. You can work kitchen or laundry for free but get the benefits. Can do drug program for 3 days off a month. In state i got to work at the state hospital cafeteria though for $7mo.
When i was younger could do shock unit. Stay outside in tents, up 6am marching, boots, like boot camp for 7 days off a month. Those were old days though. Now they downgraded staff so you stay locked up most the day so its easier to control. Last time i went i was in cell 23hrs/day just on bail like i was in maximum security. That way they only need 1-2 guards now for the whole pod. That was my final stay and was like im too old for this and i cant do this kind of time. Back in the day it was fun

Bunch of small stuff added up. A&b, distribution, etc. like the DA told the judge "mr @#$* just doesnt like to appear in court so no bail" i was always on the run or on probation and would violate. Never got a felony. Shoot below the waste its assault and battery misdemeanor, above the waist is attempted murder and felony lol
That's better than nothing. I"ve had some jeans called Prison Blues. They're made by the fine folks at the Eastern Oregon Correctional Institute. They make quality clothing. I believe they also make jeans for baileysonline. Baileys brand is called Wild Ass with a jack ass on the tag.
Im sure. Modern day sweatshops. Couple bucks a month. Most ive ever heard was $30mo you can make in some states. But trust me thats good money. Hopefully times have changed and you can make more. I havent been arrested in 10yrs so im sure things are totally different. Like i said i had 2 uncles in sheriffs dept so i would get shipped out because i couldnt be in same jail so i always was stuck with strangers. Thats How i learned to adapt to my surroundings no matter where i go.
It's something like a 3 year wait list just for an interview for the clothing manufacturing. In the about us, it states they get to keep 20% of the $120 - $150 a month after taxes and other fees.
Lol. I knew a guy that had gone to prison and he was good at cutting hair. He was cutting hair for a lot of people and he said no one fucked with him.
Picture how many visits and courtdates there are. You become a necessity. I even had 2 guards that wanted high and tights that would call me off the block and give me 2 packs of cigarettes for each of their cuts. I never smoked so traded and sold the cigs
