KitKat adopted us when she was walking through the backyard 6 years ago. We thought she was about 2 or 4 at the time. turns out that she was probably 12 or 14 at the time. She has had a few issues that made the vets think she is a senior cat, last being high blood pressure that basically left her pretty much blind, but she makes it around with out any problems.
Benson is another rescue we brought home about 5 years ago, our 5th rescue. He is an awesome dog and pretty gentle dog for being 80lbs+. He a KK get along but he is pretty much whipped by her and a little hiss sends him on his way. Luckily it's only the cat that does that to him so nobody should be dumb enough to mess around on our property.
Pets are awesome.

Unfortunately we had to put KK down before the holidays. She was much older than we thought when she adopted us.
It's nice when dogs and cats get along together.
KK looks just like the cat my wife brought home. Never had a mouse problem until the wife brought the cat home
Haha. They bring them to you to show off.
Wife decided to leave porch door and back door open for KK to come inside and KK brought a nice little bunny with her. So lucky I was able to cut her off from making upstairs
As I would have never found that little bunny. Took a little bit to get it away from her and then catch the bunny. Ever heard a rabbit scream?
The dang cat has brought a couple of chipmunks in the house already. She scoots in the door with them before I can catch her.
Now she is learning to just leave them on the porch.
That some good cardio for you to catch a chipmunk in the house. Lol.
Had to wait until she chased it into a room and I could shut the door and let her eventually kill it. No way I could catch those damn things
