+ 3 BD vial adapter

ad

These things are bad ass. No more worrying about the possibility of getting some stopper in your oils. Use the leur lock syringes and it screws right on. There is a rubber seal to prevent anything from getting in. The oil, even in colder weather pulls real smooth and fast. No more leaks, no more using a drawing needle. These are for the 20mm vials most of us use. You get damn near 98+% of oil out of vial also. So very little waste. BD 385108 Q-Style Vial Access Adapter. I managed to grab 3 boxes(25pcs) from Ebay for like $35 total, with free shipping

All the one on ebay say 14mm. Is that the size of the piece but fits on 20mm bottle?

Finnatobbuff81's picture

No, they are for the 14mm tops. I gave the number for the ones I got. I know medical places have them in stock, but they are expensive

Pumped_'s picture

Got it thx. You must have grabbed the last ones or it was a while ago

The person I bought from sold his last one a week ago. Was listed for 16 but accepted a best offer. I bought 3 boxes and used a coupon he had. If I had known I would of bought all 4 boxes he had

Now I just need one of these for my ass cheek. A threadable adapter to just hook up to and blast the oil in.

So you don’t have to inject a needle into bottle at all. Just screw the syringe on?

Correct. No more jabbing needle into vial. Just screws onto the adapter. It blew my mind

Are they reusable?

Finnatobbuff81's picture

I guess they could be. My experience so far has been after using it for a whole vial. There was a little piece of the screw that had broke off to screw the syringe on. So I threw it away. But I would assume you probably could reuse it

scoobydoo's picture

I just looked again at what you paid for them. I would chuck 'em at that price.

Finnatobbuff81's picture

Yeah. I had 75. I gave a few to my other friends. But I definitely have enough to use 1 per vial and no take any chances

scoobydoo's picture

Definitely, no sense in taking a chance. Those are neat. I've never seen them.

I was very skeptical at first myself. But I seen a few gear & pct sites were selling them for $5-10 a piece. So I started looking into them. They make them for different size vials ect. The ones most UGL use are 20mm tops. The oil pulls back so smooth and fast. The reason I started looking into it, was I got an infection from a piece of stopper in my delt. I would use a 23g to draw and then replace with new 23g to pin. But I still ended up getting really tiny piece of stopper in the syringe somehow. I was looking into filtered needles and all to prevent this from happening again. So these are what I found, and I'm damn glad I did.

It has a plastic point it stabs into the bottle, screw on the syringe and you can withdraw like you stabbed it with a needle. I would just question the sterility of it... I like the alcohol swab before each withdraw.

Supposed to be a closed loop system as well, but could leak.

Finnatobbuff81's picture

Yes. I wipe the rubber seal each time. But I have had zero leaks and I keep 4 bottles with these on, in a smaller travel bag I use on the road with my supplies in.

I was just thinking about the sterility issue myself. But nice idea.
