First Cycle Blood Work: Free T vs Total T

ad

Hello,
I have been running my first cycle which is 120mg/week of Test C + 180mg/week of Test E. Split into injections Mon, Wed, Fri.

After exactly four weeks I got bloodwork fasted at 11am (earliest appt they had). I took 12.5mg of aromasin 2 days and 9 days before the blood draw. Attached are the results.

My total T is a little higher than I would like. I was thinking something closer to 2500ng/dL would still be fine for making progress.

What really worries me is that my free testosterone is at 900. This seems to be 5.8x the upper natural limit. I would rather be closer to 3x the limit. Is free T more important than total T as some researchers claim? If so I may need to lower my dose until I hit about 465pg/mL free T.

Also, is my estradiol high enough to warrant more aromasin? I had bad depression the last two days, but fine today.

Either you are a hyper responder to testosterone or your testosterone is overdosed. I've never used an official ai so I can't speak on that but in my opinion you don't want to lower estrogen too much as it's needed for growth, mental wellbeing among other things. As far as free testosterone being the more important, well there is a reason why testosterone is bind up and not all free. I think balance is key. You can probably lower dose if you're concerned with too high of free testosterone.

So my Test C is prescription grade and 120mg/week put me at 1129ng/dL as confirmed by a previous blood tests. So I expected 300mg/week to put me at about 2800ng/dL if it were a linear relationship. If it's not a linear relationship then yeah CENSORED might have overconcentrated the Test E.

Looks like overdosing

Your complaining because you think your total and free test are to high off of 300mg Lol I would consider yourself lucky. You are more than double what most people would have from that dose.

I'm not complaining but my understanding is that for a first cycle, the maximum effective serum concentration of total T is about 2250ng/dL (3x physiological average). Any more than that will just be increasing myostatin and testosterone receptor resistance and make future cycles less effective.

I am unsure about the maximum concentration of free T.
