Man, listen I get it we all want the gains yesterday and I remember being in my early 20s thinking anabolics were going to solve my Fuckn problems. I seen a 23 year old post about a starter cycle.
Guys your body is not even done developing. Understand your training your nutrition & why you even care about your development in the gym.
As a personal trainer I always get this question by the young guys I work with. So and so is on this, oh I seen it on YouTube, the tren twins.
FUCK UM. YOU REALLY WANT TO BE ON TRT IN YOUR 20s?
Listen if you are under 30 and not making progress in the gym your core fundamentals are wrong and for 99 percent of you drugs are not going to get you to the next level.

Craziest thing I remember now is when this kids' dad came up to me and asked about steroids for his kid so he could bigger. Kid was only 16 years old SMH. That one took me by surprise.
Father of the year award…..
Wow holy shit
There’s a lot of people in this world, both young and old that need to add humility into their lives. Too many people walking around making decisions with no shame.
One day everyone who wants kids will have them on this site. Eroids (forever). Hornet yoy do know you say no to these kids they will just go to some asshole coach who doesnt care about there health take there money
You have the opportunity to TEACH , and over see that they do this right. They will look up to you and respect you and follow your plan. Aslong as you see it tbrough there eyes
I had this one kid I could tell was going to do it no matter what. He was leaving for the army and I was working with him. He asked me question after question. I explained my experience with my first cycle and how much it sucked for me having my system shut down. I do try to explain what it’s like and if your going to do it no matter what how much work it is.
"LIVE FAST DIE YOUNG"....that's what I remember my young workout partner saying years ago. Just living on the edge, young and careless. Now at some point as youngsters we all are careless but there has to be a limit, has to be! This mentality that we are invincible along with not having any patience is definitely a big ass detriment that can be life altering or life ending period, make no mistake young bucks as this is serious stuff. Now when it comes to anabolic steroids there seems to be a mindset that these things are no different than any supplement you'd buy at a local GNC....wrong! Some of you guys are probably tired of my conservative boring approach to gear but hey that's how I've always approached gear, always having a respect knowing I could be one pill or inject from fking myself up. Hey call it paranoid or whatever but it's definitely worked. Gear is only part of the puzzle, hard work, diet and sleep complete the puzzle. It's NOT all about just gear. If it were we all would be Mr. Olympia.
Yes i respect deeman. But tired of the conservative buddy. Your kids are either going to come to you for help with steroids. Or go behind your back. Your choice
Let me know in 10 years how it works
And remmber some of our kids our 100 test levels under yours from the start lol
@wanted get off the couch and get that 1000 Karma you lazy ass womanizer!
Early Congrats +1
Lmao...I tell ya that damn wanted is something else! This place wouldn't be the same without you lol.
But you're right about the kid talk. Look when it comes to serious issues like gear talk I cut no corners. I'll tell my kids the good things about gear but I'll also tell them the horrible things that I also witnessed because of gear. I've seen a few guys get fk up being reckless. Seeing these things does something to you mentally man. Hard to explain.
It is hard to explain 100 % agree
Youngins, take it from me as someone who first took steroids in high school. I wish I knew then what I know now. I was in combat sports. I realized how many athletes were on some sort of PED. The fact people want to deny many of the major sports athletes are on some sort of PED is a joke. Once I realized this when I was 17/18 that's when I got on steroids. I wanted a competitive edge in my fighting. That's just how it went. I went in just trusting the advice of my coach. I look back like hmmm maybe I shouldn't have done that. But after a couple of years of that I stopped cold turkey. I took a long time off of steroids but in that time I spent years of studying them. Reading tons of articles about them Visiting forums, watching videos etcetera. I didn't hop back into them until my late 20's after I gained much more knowledge. Drugs are not 100% the answer for your problems. If you cannot gain naturally, you 100% will not on gear. Gear doesn't make up for the shit lifestyle you live.
First cycle I did was at 36 and although my strength and size went up pct was a nightmare and lost pretty much all my gains. Fast forward to 43 having not done any other gear and I was stronger and bigger, out lifting my younger self on gear. So many factors that go into breaking through barriers and I’ve found most of them to be in the mind. If you can focus on diet, training, proper sleep and recovery. After that having a well kitted out gym, decent training partner and most of all commitment and determination to push your limits gear really should be last on list and something for much later on. Taking testosterone now compared to mid thirties feels completely different. Feel much healthier and happier on it than all those years ago.
When you drive past the gyms in my area the car parks make you believe its the local youth club, all you see are kids that look about 18 years old getting their gear out of the car to go in. None of them even look like they train, all the girls look like they are going on a night out with faces full of make up and slutty gear on Lol These people purely go to the gym because its the cool place to be seen at right now, none of them lift because they enjoy it or are passionate about it. See how many of them are still going once they are out of school and have full time jobs. Its these exact same muppets that jump on gear after holding a membership for 2 weeks.
Despite all the info against starting young the temptation to get big now is just too great for so many. I feel the IG has exacerbated this problem greatly. Atleast, when I was growing up the only time I saw freakishly big , ripped guys was at the grocery store in the magazine section. Now every time a kid looks at his phone it's in his face.
Great post.
At a young age or any age for that matter a lot of people do not realize just how powerful hormones are. They are responsible for thousands of physiologic processes in the body both that not only affect us physically but psychologically. A few problems may show up right away with hundreds more that take years to manifest. This is only going to be amplified when you start at a younger age. One day you will pay in some way. You may not even know steroids were the root cause.
The body is constabtly doing its best to maintain a state of balance(homeostasis). Because there are numerous hormones that play significant roles in the body when you alter one the others can quickly become out of whack as the body attempts to maintain balance.
When you start playing with hormones especially at an early age you are likely going to run into more problems than you could ever imagine.
Most young people think it is so much more simple/safe and jump on test without even coming close to reaching their natural limit. In my opinion if you haven't mastered your diet and training, steroids will only help so much and simply are not worth the risk.
Yeah man I even wonder about myself at 34. When I was in my 20s I did this terrible cycle. No thought about anything I was taking. I was going to drug stores looking for sharps and getting the evil eye from the pharmacist. I was still living with my mom at the time and injecting in my 99 civic right in the quad like a lunatic. No PCT I was so fucked for like a year. My dick straight up didn’t work right and it’s wild to think I lost like a year of fucking at that age just to do a whacked out cycle. My gains that I got where quickly lost and I ended up worse then when I started by a long shot.
That must have sucked. Don't feel bad man I think most of us have our war stories of the dumb things we have done especially early in the game. I'm just happy your doing well now and informed.
Even when they do take steroids, you wouldn't know it. Nobody knows how to eat, that is where the real gains come from whether on or off steroids.
Well only thing that I can think of is that they tend to think that gear is a substitute for needed calories or has calories in it as silly as that sounds . Doesn't make much sense to me.. But hey, what do I know.
^^^ And there it is ^^^. I’ve lost count of the number of lads I’ve seen over the years that are on gear but you ‘d never think so just because they do not get the food right. I think my “favourite” one i remember about 6 or 7 years ago told me he was using gear but not any decent gains and he didn’t know why. This was mid morning at the gym, so I asked him what he ate for breakfast. The answer, “I don’t eat breakfast”…..
Have you previously posted an article on diet Makwa? If so please could you repost link. I’d be very interested to read as would I’m sure many others who haven’t yet.
To many to all post here. There are all in my profile.
That’s the real shame of it, LA Fitness put no steroid signs in our locker room because young guys were selling it there. It’s crazy how out of hand it is. I went to some hard core gyms like 17 years ago. No one even talked about it but now it’s all I hear about.
You know what I think on sometimes when I see these young men on cycles, and often big advanced cycles? That their tendons, ligaments, joints, connective facia, etc isn’t developing anywhere near as quickly as their skeletal muscle, and I imagine we’ll be seeing significant injuries in the near future. In the past, the monsters we see & love (Cutler, Coleman, Yates) have developed over an extensive timeframe. There are some incredible young physiques out there, but it cannot be sustainable.
I don’t often care to much about fitness influencers but I do really love Sam Sulek. Incredible attitude, great young man with an incredible physique. I really wish he took more time to develop I hope he doesn’t die young.
Yeah man, Sulek seems like a good kid. Real positive & quite transparent and he has gained some serious size in a short time frame. He is an impressive looking lad, but he’s going to feel the sting of his current choices in his later years. I like this kid better than the tren twins or Jesse James west or a number of others out there doing nonsense for views and a following.
Like wanted just asked you below please feel free to explain why you said Sam would feel the "sting." I mean do we know that he is reckless with gear or do you assume..
He makes $100,000 a month please enlighten me abiut the sting he is gona feel putting that money in the bank and still shopping at goodwill and driving an old toyota
"nobody wants to lift heavy ass weights" -
This is legit. I've been watching the bodybuilding scene for 20 years now, I'm 36 and just tossed my natty card finally. One thing can tell you is, if you do not reach your genetic potential before hopping on gear, once you come off of gear you will lose a lot if not all of what you have gained. This is because your body did not learn how to build that muscle naturally. But if you train for a minimum of 5 years hard, preferably 10 years, your muscle memory will be very high and when you come off gear eventually at some point in your life you'll get to keep a lot of what you've gained well into your 50s and 60s maybe even longer. That's not even taking into account stunted growth plates, cardiovascular issues, mental health problems, etc that can all come from taking gear too early when your body and brain are still developing. My doctor told me that men do not stop growing and developing until they're around 25 years old so in my opinion that is the minimum age someone should hop on gear period.
Yeah it’s crazy to think people that are not done growing are slamming roids. So much natural potential left on the table.
