+ 1 That Smell
Guys, I have an issue I'm trying to figure out here. For the most part, we can assume that nothing else has changed here outside of the items I'm discussing. To the best of my knowledge anyways.
I recently decided to take advantage of a new source's promo to restock my supply. So, I've never used this source until now. All reviews are fantastic so far for whatever that's worth. Per discussion in another post, I decided to start adding Pviron to my TRT schedule. I'm take 25mg twice a day. I also decided to swap from Cyp to Ethan with my test vials. (300mgs).
What has been strange since my changes.
- "Mentally" my libido has tanked. I've been told that Ethanate does this compared to Cyp. I'm honestly on the fence whether or not this bothers me. Physically things work well. I'm just not raging horny all the time anymore. I've not noticed a loss in strength, energy, etc.
- I have noticed strength increases and vascular changes since I've swapped esters and added the pill mentioned above.
- Here's the main issue... My armpits smell like dog pee literally all the time. Fresh out of the shower or otherwise. And yes.. I said dog pee for a reason. Haha. Human and cat pee usually smells different. While the issue is earth shattering, it does have an impact I'd probably rather not share. --
- Lastly, there has, allegedly, been a considerable change in the way certain bodily fluids taste. At first, I thought it was the ALA I take because it makes your pee smell like you've eaten a pound of asparagus. Now I'm starting to think otherwise.
Overall, I think all these issues are either Ethanate in general, or it's the source.
While there are so many things one could ask to diagnose, let's please attempt to stay within the boundaries of "what changed". Yes, water could be an issue, but that hasn't changed, and I drink probably a gallon or more a day on average. I know exactly what my body odor smells like normally, and when my hormones are elevated. This is a shift from loud and pungent to dog piss. It's wild.

I've noticed the smell. especially with tren, have someone else smell for you see maybe if it's just how you're sinus are picking up the smell, it's strange sometimes.
Also 300 a week is pretty high for trt, like the top range for those weaker responders, how's your e2?
The wife noticed it right away too. She didn't immediately relate it to piss until I mentioned it. She just said it definitely smelled very different. Also, I may have said this wrong above, but my dose is closer to 190/week. I would agree that 300 a week is pretty high. I need to get some labs done actually.
When I begin to smell like Sasquatch I know my dosage is tuned in to optimal values.
Little off topic but still on armpits. Anyone have OCD like me or am i the only one. I count how many strokes of deodorant and both arms have to match. If i go over on one i have to add another on the other pit. Ive tried to do it without counting but i cant.

Being on cycle and just aging in general will change your odors. In my teens and early 20s my pits would smell more like bad weed. Now it smells more vinegary it gets a little better off cycle but yea on cycle its crazy. I can shower, both roll and spray on my deodorant and by 10:30 I smell so bad it's ridiculous.
Skunky, dank weed is actually a good way to describe my normal smell. Good call. Remember though, this smell change occurred after switching from C to E and added Pviron. This isn't a new cycle or anything. It's HRT with 2 shots a week. I've been on Cyp for almost 2 decades with three different sources. I've always smelled like skunky weed and sometimes like trash if my diet has been bad. I switched to test E 2-3 weeks ago and my armpits have been smelling like dog piss since about 3-4 days after I switched. I'm either going to have to swap back to the little Cyp I have left or stop the Pviron to see if the smell changes back to normal.
But honestly so far do you feel their gear is working for you? I'm curious.
I feel like my strength has increased, I am more vascular, and I am not having any healing or energy issues. So far, I think it is fine. I expected way more from the Pviron, but now I'm thinking the E dropped my libido and this is why I doubted the Pviron. I will say that I popped a deebol pill one morning to overcome that loss of libido feeling along with this dryness I was experiencing. Those are definitely legit. Jesus... I felt some hormone rage within a couple hours
Just stop taking the proviron for a bit. The dryness is from proviron. So the oral from the same src that the Enanthate is from?
Yes sir. I bought it for a friend, but read that some people were taking a pill here in there as a way to increase libido and raise E a little. While this may be frowned upon, I tried it anyways. It definitely worked. I didn't feel as brittle, and I was starving for sex all day for a couple days. I think I'm going to let all this settle in more to see how I feel in a couple weeks, but I'm also likely to switch back to Cyp at potentially a lower dose because of the Pviron. I was hoping someone else here had noticed a smell change. I've already met a few guys who say that switching to E definitely impacted their libido. I can possibly appreciate the libido change, but not the smell.
Well it's an easy fix. Hey stop the proviron first, and if you still smell strange then more than likely it's the test E. Not many factors.
Go buy a half gallon of pineapple juice and drink it all within two days. Wash your bed sheets ant least once per week. Also, discontinue tasting your own semen. That’s just fucking weird!

But for real, the "taste" was normal and fine for decades. After using Test E, or Pviron, I'm hearing that it also takes like there is some pee there. Oddly, the piss concept is affecting both things.
I know this sounds weird, but all of this started when I began taking this "new" stuff. I'm 45, and I've been taking Test Cyp for 2 decades. These symptoms I'm bringing up are totally new.
Yeah, definitely sounds like something is wrong with that E, I would flush it down the toilet. I was serious about the pineapple juice though. That shit will make your semen taste great. The tasters will love it, LOL
Haha.. yeah.. I've heard that in the past. My ex used to drink it for me so she tasted good. I thoroughly enjoyed that. However, I'm trying to get back towards my keto diet, so cramming all that sugar isn't going to fly. Secondly, I'm trying to determine what caused this change over the last two weeks. The "taste" didn't need to be fixed prior. Those who were tasting it loved the way it already tasted. I suppose I could attempt to mask it, but back to the carb issue.

So some may also get an odor from guaiacol but I don't mess with guaiacol.
The smell that comes out of me from Guaiacol, is exactly that, guaiacol. I’m actually running a new Winstrol oil right now that must use Guac. It comes right out of my pores until I shower. Drives my wife bonkers, LOL!
Actually, @DeeMan, you’re the one that actually educated me on Guac when I decided to run DHB earlier this year.

Ugh that stuff is awful. So I have my stash tucked away and then whatever I’m currently running I keep in a box in my bathroom and ice in wising something with glauical in it, my bathroom stinks of it for the whole cycle. Just fills the whole room right away.
I remember getting some mail one day and I had some gear in a package with my mail. Man every damn envelope, brochure, and coupon in my mailbox smelled like guaiacol. The older mail lady asked me what was that smell...I politely told her my new cologne.
Yeah, that was it, but the lumps were from the first source whose DHB crashed. The Guac DHB was great but I had to drop it because the lumps weren’t getting bettered as long as I kept pinning them. I still have a full bottle of the good stuff, but on my Winstrol cycle right now and loving it. Maybe I’ll give the DHB another run in March.
I did find one reference to this, but not sure how to know if the source uses it. Google hasn't produced much info on armpits smelling like piss. Haha
Well you'll know if they use guaiacol by the smell of the vial and oil. Strong smell.

This literally has no smell. I think I know what you are talking about. My previous source probably used it. It's a really strong chemical smell. If you get it on your skin, you can smell it from 3 feet away. His pills had the same smell too. But, that didn't result in my BO smelling different. I just put the vial to my nose and smell nothing.
Yea guaiacol normally isn't used in 300mg/mL testosterone.
Not used in pills.

I have no specific reason to doubt the source yet. I recently submitted a review for one if you want to take a look. Since I have no previous reference for what Pviron feels like, I can't compare that. Since I added that and Ethanate together, it's hard to say if the iron is working as expected or not since the Ethanate is making me not as horny in general.
Well in this case just troubleshoot. Leave out the proviron while taking the Enanthate. That way you can at least know if proviron is the issue. Usually proviron increases sex drive.
Run the cyp back and drop the E. No point in putting yourself through shit that your not good with. I get a fucked up chemically funky smell on tren. It'll cross your fucking eyes bad.
Actually, I was hoping to figure out exactly what the issue is before jumping back to Cyp. If it is definitely E, then I have no issue moving back. As much as I love the feeling of being raging horny... I felt like E might be better overall for focusing more on other things in life. You know...like being more productive.
Ahhh I didn't read that as it was hindering you which I've been there before. Lifting in the gym in tight boxers and my man is still trying to give me a tap on the chin. Yeah man it can be irritating. I'm really not sure buddy. I've never had any noticable changes when moving from c to e and I prefer E. Just feel a little bit better on the stuff. Would be interesting to know what it was for sure though.
The hindrance is more about the fact that all I think about is how much I'm going to lose my ever-loving mind if I don't get some exhaustive sex with someone with the same hunger I have. That makes it difficult to prioritize other things in life. I've been on E for about 2-3 weeks, and that mental side has drastically changed. Everything still works well, it's just way harder to mentally be interested unless it's going to be a wild time.
