Acne

ad

Having bad back acne after first cycle and wanting to start Accutane .
He was taking 600 testosterone a week and lowered it but still breaking out. Someone gave him Isotretinoin (liquid) (amino asylum) and said to take 1 ml daily. We are concerned about side effects etc. has anyone used this?

Do you think estrogen is too high? He didn’t take the Amiridex when he was on The cycle either.

I would recommend to do E2 level tests first.

Not supposed to mention sources in the open forums, honest mistake but I originally tried liquid accutane when I first wanted to use it. Barely any effect. If he is going to go that route your best bet is pharma. It's way way above UGL

I didn't last long using it because of the major side effects. Also once that stuff goes fungal, and I'm not saying it is but, ketacanozole 2% shampoo. It's only available by prescription and it's good to leave it on at least 5 minutes, as the bottle states. Hope he gets some relief soon. It's okay to spread that shampoo on the body

The best OTC stuff I’ve found was benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid. I mix them in a bottle with some hyaluronic acid (for dryness) and it’s been great. The benzoyl peroxide is best tho. Put a little dab on each blemish at night and don’t run it in, let it sit on it and it will like burn it out but will give you crazy dry skin. After two weeks it stops working because of tolerance so you need to cycle it

I just made a post about this yesterday where guys had good feedback and mainly suggested accutane and a few other methods - antibiotics- shampoos. Get a blood test to check estrogen. No clue about the liquid. It's a struggle. Hang tuff!!

I've tried damn near everything. Going to be using accutane soonish. One thing that did work for me was mupirocin ointment but it wouldn't work long term. I'd have to apply it everyday for the rest of my life and walk around glistening. But if it's really bad that might work to knock it down a little bit until you find a permanent better fix.

Not sure if this will help but I have acne out breaks at end of cycles before. There’s no one size fits all everybody is different. I have just started to hear about these new things like you mentioned from amino so I don’t know about that. For my acne I was put on a super strong antibiotic with horrible side effects but did help it was called doxycycline. Messes with gut health and multiple other things but worse side is it makes you extra sensitive to uv rays so if you work outside prepare to get burrrrrrnnnnttt lol. Never took accurate. I also found differin gel helps too.
