Honestly imo paying with crypto is the least of your concern. If you’re not using a VPN, they already have your info. Not only that, who knows what security measures are on the site. No communication is PGP encrypted, which is extremely easy to learn to 256 bit PGP encrypt your info that only the vendor can decrypt with their password.
Orders also get saved on these sites. So your info is being saved somewhere, with unknown security protocols.
If you really want to be anonymous, your best bet is to learn your way around the dark net. Vendors will straight up cancel your order if not PGP encrypted. They also use XMR (monero) which is A LOT more difficult to trace.
If anyone ever wants help with that, feel free to PM me. Otherwise I highly recommend when ordering, at the least, use a VPN to mask your personal info. It’s really the only thing you can do.
