Testicular atrophy question

ad

Random thought here -
Why haven’t my balls shrunk?
I’ve been on TRT for 2+ years now +ran some cycles since starting and I still have nice sized juicy balls… They possible could’ve shrunk down a little bit since pre TRT but honestly I can’t really recall them being any bigger than they are now and whatever shrinkage might’ve happened isn’t noticeable. Why is this? I used to use nolvadex pretty regularly to keep down Gyno, as I am very sensitive to flare ups - and with hopes of possibly shrinking very minor pre existing lump I’ve had since puberty. Would this place a role as it stimulates your body to raise LH/FSH? Not complaining at all here, I just have tons of friends that complain when they go on cycle their nuts shrink down to peas and they have an empty sack. But I still have close to golf ball sized testicles hanging in there.
I know people use HCG to combat testicular shrinkage, can nolvadex work in this same sense?
Leave some feedback!

My boys are all over the place. Multiple cycles and trt and most days they're in prime form. But every now and then you couldn't find them w/a search light.

Fat? or swollen because you have them in a vice?

Like everything in biology there is variance. There could be genetic polymorphisms or environmental factors that influence how the HPG axis is negatively regulated, however I haven't looked for any studies that examine this specifically. The doses and specific substances being used are also an important part of the equation, higher amounts & certain anabolics being more suppressive.

Alternatively from a psychological perspective, it could just be that sometimes people aren't accurate assessors of their own traits or abilities. Unless you have long term measurements of your testicular size with an actual ruler, it could be that you simply haven't noticed that they're slightly smaller than when you started, even if it's just ~10% less from baseline.

Either way, if you've been on TRT for >2 years then it's unlikely your nuts will suddenly shrink to peas out of nowhere unless you ran a cycle with a new substance that just happens to shut you down really hard. As far as the nolvadex is concerned, it theoretically could be having a protective effect, there are some older studies that show it increases LH/FSH/Test/E2 in normal males who aren't on TRT.
