Great podcast that covers Ryan Root. Was a popular UGL for many years and some of us have probably purchased from him. Seems to mention many things we all know about, and is overall a great listen.

I just listened to the whole podcast you are absolutely right he's talking about eroids though he doesn't say it those Were the good old days but like he said slot of.pepple Were selling fakes rich piana.dave palumbo I don't no if Greg doucette was selling fakes but he Was selling and don't 4get Greg Valentino. The only thing I didn't catch on Was he wasn't ordering raws and making it him self he Was like a middle man right? He found a cheap Chinese source especially if you bought in bulk and then he resold that for a profit. But I remember them days and he's absolutely right gear was more expensive there wasn't as many domestic sites me like there are now and no one asked anything coming to there house and like he said around that 2009 time only brand I ever bought was British dragon I wander which site he was there's a good chance I bought from him bc I was on eroids back than and there's a feW sources on here still that were on here back then not naming any sources but none of them are in the top 10. Alot of domestic sources Were getting busted too back then like 1 a month. I recommend everyone listen to it thanks for posting bro brought back some old.memories lol.
Haha it’s a dead brand so probably fine mentioning, but yep I have had my hands on some BD too! I’m sure ya did!
Another interesting more recent story is musclehead320 aka Tyler Baumann- now he actually linked with a novice chemistry guy and they brewed from raws. They fucked up by ripping off the branding (name, label design, images, etc.) from a legitimate pharmacy company which was their major downfall.
He recently got released and is making supplements and such targeted at gear users. I actually got some to try out with the release sale so we will see lol.
If you have Hulu watch “The Age of Influence S1 Ep4 The asteroid Swindler”. Covers his story and features people connected decent watch. Also has lots of podcasts and books detailing the industry and his life. The prison stories are interesting as he went from blasting grams huge and jacked to cold turkey in the feds.
Dude was best friends with Bostin Lloyd back in the day. Those 3CC dudes made some funny ass videos

I have actually heard him specifically mention eroids in other interviews though. More than once. British Dragon was his brand back then too. No relation to BD floating around nowadays
What i wanna know is how did they catch the girl when those vials broke in the big package?
Did they have their phone number or address on the return? Why did they even went to the post office to claim?
It’s a loss at that point ? Obviously I just wanna know how they contacted them… seems like they slipped putting real return address or phone number.

I thought the exact same thing. Had to be using her real address and phone #’s. Maybe she just had it in the tracking for updates. Either way that girl needed much more education.
I believe they didn’t claim the broken package. They just knew it meant the house was going to be raided very soon as it’s easy to get a warrant if seen what was inside. They only got charged for the small stuff in the house I believe- just managed to scare the girl into giving up way too much info. Nothing proven about the package even until she talked.

Even at that- her statement only wasn’t enough to do anything as he said. It took them two more YEARS with all his info on hand and constant surveillance to indict him and his team.

Yes it was he never gave the name.of his website I wander if I ever purchased from hi me bc all I bought back then w as s British dragon. What he did you could never get away with now bc he didn't make his own gear he just got a great deal.buying bulk And i remember my friends and I just outta high school none of us wanted it coming to our house or using our real name so we didn't care buying a bottle of British dragon test for $75 it never work these days bc gear is so much cheaper just a great interview
