Doctor put me on TRT yesterday. I came off of everything and was 158 ng/dl total & 4 ng/dl free. He started me on 150mg cyp 75mg Mon & 75mg Thurs. Only problem is I can’t run a blast for awhile because he wants bloods every 6 weeks for now.

And a lot of people told me like they barely take any insurance is this true?. My friend says he pays like $22 per shot each week im hopin he was just high balling it any answers please lmk. If you're going to your regular doctor and not a men's clinic, the cost i your copay and they will allow you to do your own injections if you ask.

Yes do not blast at least until after your follow up. However, I would definitely wait longer until your test levels even out and your doctor dials your dose in. But that’s my opinion!! It’s not worth much--
TricepatopsSo what's the problem? You just finished cycle and now you need time off. Most likely he wants to see what range you are in at 6 weeks and if your at a good range and feel good then he will keep you at that dose. Most docs want bloods every 3 months or so while on TRT to check metabolic and CBC along with hormones. My primary doctor was more in tune then my Endo. My Endo seen I was on this does for a long time and wants bloods 2 times a year and that's it now.
How are you feeling buddy coming off a blast down to a level that low? Do you take any other supplements to give you an energy boost in the meantime such as extra caffeine etc?

Do you not think it may be better just staggering it down initially - say just halving everything you took then down to say 300mg Test then TRT level? I would of thought it would feel way easier and not as huge a shock to the system. TRT level test is gonna be way tougher initially than down to cruise level like you did previously?
Yeah I hear ya but I am under the docs micro scope atm and had to do what I had to do to get a script.

I bottom out at I think my test level was 49 ng/ dl on the 1st set of bloodwork and then I started doing my own test in the meantime cuz it took long time for appointment. But the insurance wants 2 sets of bloodwork. Which I didn’t know and it was 1500 +.
So No go with TRT with a doctor until I get off everything, they said.

Did you go through your actual doctor or a TRT clinic?
My PCP does bloods every 6 months. I time my blasts so I can stay on prescription. Years ago when I went to a TRT clinic they wanted to do bloodwork all the time, but at $200+ a month, they should.
PCP. 6 weeks until dialed in.
