+ 4 Abscess
ad
This morning I was feeling some unusual post-injection pain... Or so I thought. I looked at the area in question -- my right buttock -- and observed redness, an obvious lump, and I immediately drove to the E.R. Turns out to be a small abscess. The doctor didn't feel it was large enough to be drained, but he prescribed antibiotics. My advice to newbies or those otherwise reluctant to see a doc: don't fuck around with your health. This is my first ever abscess, yet I know it is part of the gamble when using AAS. Be smart and take the necessary precautions. Don't be a fool -- see a doctor when in doubt.

PropheticWookieAn abscess is a very well known problem. As a rule, these are either bad drugs. Or more often it happens that injections are not made correctly or the injection of the drug is not observed.
Ok. How does an absess form? No alcohol? Or from injecting in the same spot
anything can cause an abscess. Poor hygiene, improper brew (filtration/sterilization/etc), contamination such as particles or even rubber stopper pieces, you could hit a vein and cause an abscess that way as well.
PropheticWookiean abscess can also be provoked by an incorrect injection technique, for example, the needle is not inserted deep enough.
Thanks for the info!
RustyhookerSterile abscess....body simply attacks the foreign substance
It’s always good to keep amoxicillin on hand in the event that the pip is feeling a little off and out there.
Glad you went to the doc.
I'd add, it's best to not jump too quickly in to antibiotics. Antibiotics are amazing drugs but they're also dangerous when abused or used incorrectly.
PropheticWookieI think it is always good to use antibiotics at the first moments of occurrence. And of course, do not self-medicate and quickly get to a good doctor. For everything can develop into a serious problem
If I can add to that, make sure the amoxicillin is combined with clavulanic acid , brand name augmentin, and if that skin infection is MRSA then it won’t put a dent in it . In that case , bactrim.
Ed is alive!!…..I heard you were off the grid hunting Sasquatch but apparently you’re back….
He was in Patton State Hospital in San Bernardino CA. If he stays on his meds this time and stops eating lead paint maybe he'll be around for a while.
Well that makes more sense than the Sasquatch rumor I heard….
RustyhookerPro tips ^^^
Thats no fun. Glad you're ok. Never had an abscess from pinning gear and I've made my own at home quite a few times (fina).
If its red, could be an infection. Luckily I've not had that issue. I have had bad pip and a lump, a heating pad a couple times a day for a few days helped.
RustyhookerSo newbs dont eff up their health insurance....an injection is an injection...
Your b12 shot messed up
Do you wink at them when you say B12. 5'5" 220lbs and 10% BF. Some damn good b12.
RustyhookerLmao! Well....when my blood test showed i need trt the dr didnt even blink twice.
But you with youre dimensions....i love to see their faces!
I still don't tell my primary I use steroids. He just looks down and shakes his head
You walk into the hospital and mostof the times the senior male nurse knows without asking. Lol
And says i see many of these.
RustyhookerNo sir!! That gnc protein mass gainer does all you need. Lol!
Don't forget the creatine.
RustyhookerRemember few weeks back guy was pushing that excedysterone....moth moltings? Hahaha
AnonSounds like a good idea. B12 shot sounds good. Telling them it was a bee sting wont get the right treatment. Telling them it was a injection is a good idea. For health insurance reasons.
RustyhookerInjecting gear puts insurance in same risk as shooting meth/opioids. As high risk per those standards it could be life changing as you records will follow you from provider to provider.
B12 injected would give same issue as a bad injection but its a vitamin versus stove top steroids. Lol! End result with b12 injection is the exact same procedures to fix the problem medically.
You know, they didn't even ask me if I injected anything. The PA and the doctor did give each other a look of "this guy did something he's not telling us." Lol. I am sure they knew something was up, that I wasn't being entirely forthcoming.
But I agree 100%. If ever they ask, always say it's a B12 injection.
Ive been told they see plenty of these
RustyhookerNormal folks arent our size especially when they see the age listed. But good medical care is just that. I got sick a couple years ago and got lotta funny looks as different nurses changed shifts. But no need in jeopardizing your insurance.
Smart move. Obviously don't pin that spot for quite awhile.
i ran a cycle of Test 400 E and i immediately the next day had a huge red welt bigger than a half dollar. (later found out the deluding with sterile water trick to pull out the BA so it wasnt so bad later on in the cycle) helped a little but for weeks i would have huge fuggin unbelievably painful pip sites. thought i had some bad stuff but that wasnt it. the high mg concentration was just too much for my pussy ass pale skin?? was really close to going to the doc but i rode it out and pushed through the pain so just study up on what you are pinning first for sure so you know what to expect. i have always heard that if you get real primo the pip is pretty painful.
Rustyhookerdeluding with sterile water trick to pull out the BA
No sir it doesnt. It changes the ratio of 400mg to a reasonable dose.
TricepatopsDo you have an idea of how you got it? Did you do anything different? I use about 6 alcohol pads per pin. I even use after injection and always put on a band aid which also helps me remember not to inject there next time.
"Do you have an idea of how you got it? Did you do anything different?"
No idea how I got it. I showered beforehand, wiped the vial down with alcohol, switched needles afterwards, and then wiped down the injection area with alcohol before pinning and after. It's the same thing I do every time I pin. It's honestly lost on me as well, although I accept it for what it is -- the price we pay to use AAS.
AnonI have to upvote this.
I agree, when in doubt see a doc. The antibiotics you were prescribed might save you from losing a chunk of your ass.
Never had an abscess from pinning gear. Had some tiny bruise from pinning sub-q peptides but that's it.
I don't like the E.R. My PCP is a GP and can see me same day or next day anytime I call. He has drained a few hematomas from blunt force trauma, they heal a lot faster that way. It's cheap even with self pay to see a GP (general practitioner/family doctor) to get a hematoma drained or some stitches. Might have to call around to get a same day or next day appointment but it's worth it.
Let us know how this turns out please. Drop an update in the comments about how you're doing in a few days or a week.
Update: I finished the round of antibiotics, and the lump resolved on its own without needing to be drained. I did feel zonked for a couple days. I really did get lucky.
AnonGood the hear! Thanks for the update brother.

Will do, brother.
