Best part of the day to workout

ad

I always prefer the afternoon to workout. I like it better because I’ve already had at least 5 meals and plenty of carbs. I feel nice and strong and I’m able to move some weight and to plenty of supersets. If I’m cutting I don’t mind it in the morning. It may be the only time for me to have carbs is before and after my workout. The rest of the day is pure protein and no carbs. Just depending where I’m at. But for optimal growth bulking I prefer the afternoon. I eat anywhere bulking 5 to 8 lbs of food depending how I need to manipulate my carbs and protein. Also I still do at least 10-20min hit cardio during bulking while adding mass on the stair master to stay nice a tight.. Few more tricks that took me years to learn. When bulking usually I’ll eat every 2 to 3 hours from the time I wake up until the time I go to bed.

At the gym I prefer relatively early morning. 7-8am but at home in my basement gym I prefer evening. It is weird, I have built a pretty impressive home gym, lots of Rogue stuff, I have dumbbells up to 100lbs, sissy squat and even heavy/speed bags. But I am only now in a place where I have been enjoying lifting down there. I mean it is right there and requires no effort to go down and lift, yet all this time I still would drive to the gym

I think if you'd put in some extra mirrors and invited some pussy, you'd have stayed in your basement lol.

That is pretty impressive and expensive. I would love to have something like that.

The dumbbells I found online used and totally refinished them. They are the old school plate style. Certain exercises I like them better. But yeah, over the last few years I have put nearly 10k down there. It is good to have that option since sometimes we all get sick of the gym.

I like training at all different times of the day, middle of the night ones rock too lol I just stick to the rule of waiting at least 4 hours after my first proper meal of the day esp when using Dbol tabs to get the water and glycogen loading optimal. Anything less than that and I feel way too burnt out on the high intensity sets.

I only eat my carbs at breakfast and then protein all day.

Lately I’ve been finding I like 10am the best. I’ve woken up, had my fasted GH, then had my breakfast an hour and a half later, and given it time to digest, then off to the gym fully fed! Then home to shower and have lunch. Luckily I have a flexible job that allows me to use that schedule.

First thing in the morning is my gym time, no breakfast until after I hit the gym.

I mean I'm still half asleep when I walk through the gym doors, it makes the rest of my day feel great though. Every meal I eat after the gym is just building on what I started the day with, I drink my N.O Xplode on the way there it usually starts kicking in about two sets in.

The problem is though if I miss the gym in the morning it makes the rest of my day feel fucked.

I prefer hitting the gym after a good sleep. i feel recovered and at my strongest. Then come home eat a lot and go back to sleep. i realize most can't do this, but I have been able to work my schedule through the years to do it!

I like hitting the gym early in the am around 0600 when I’m trying to lean out. I do 30-45min liss every morning around 0500. So I can come in blend a protein, oats and banana shake drink it, then sip my pre workout on the way to the gym. When trying to put on size I agree I like late afternoon or around 10pm when the gym is empty.
