Prayers man. I know how persistent you have to be to keep up with that. Everyday hookup man. Keeps you alive. Lots of respect to you for doing it. I would coward out and probably throw in the towel. Hope you have your serenity. That's all that matters. God bless man. By the way, you look insane bro. I'd be happy with your results
Thanks brother. It was definitely a shock, when I got the news. I had no idea. Went to the hospital cause I thought I had a bad cold. Ended up being severe pneumonia. From there they ran blood work-and came back and said I was stage 5 kidney failure. Not much time to process the news. Depression definitely hit me hard, wanting to give up etc. To make matters worst,I went into a severe panic attack. Ended up in a coma for 33 days. Woke up tune down my throat and lost 65 lbs by the time I got out the hospital. 2 years plus on dialysis now. Finally got my head together and started to go to the gym. It was definitely a blessing and made me feel normal again. Took exactly 2 years to get back to my current shape. Thanks again
I do have a very important question that I hope you can answer without offending you in any way. I was wondering, if you ran bloodwork at the time and recall, do you remember your creatinine levels as well as the BUN numbers?. Very important subject for me right now.
And would you be able to replace a kidney? I know they aren't easy to come by. Good that ur healthy. Keeping g serenity has got to be critical. You've been through hell. Your young man. To go through all that and to have to deal with the mental aspect of it and to pull through. Your as tough as nails. But your able to do what you love to do and it's your gym time. None can take that away. Thank you. Like I said. Those numbers are a big issue with me. If you can help in that way you would be helping me big time
If your bun and creatine clearence are out of range that's not a good sign.
There are things that can raise your creatinine.
Heavy training, high protein diet, dehydration and theres the big surprise one. Fenafybrate a very common cholesterol med will raise your creatinine levels.
My egfr is always around 45 or 50 but my creatinine level in the 24 hour urine test is normal.
Blood tests arent the best indicator for bodybuilders imo. However the bun reading on top of the blood test is cause to make some changes.
Remember the e in egfr stands for estimated.
The 24 hour urine test is more accurate.
If your taking fenafybrate I'd stop and adjust my diet.
Dehydration is a major cause bro. No worries man. I get my urine results on Monday. I explained all my blood results below-regarding BUN and creatinine. Water Intake man
Wow,protect those numbers bro. According to your numbers 45-50 you are stage 3 kidney disease. How is your blood pressure these days. Are you on medication for blood pressure?
I've been to the Nephrology doc.
My urine and bun are pretty much clear.
My creatine clearence that factors blood and urine is barely out of range.
Hes retesting me in 4 months.
I'm behaving till then.
And i dont care what anybody thinks or says, if you, me, he, she is Active and NOT drinking at least 1 gallon of water a day, especially while functioning in heat, ur not drinking nearly enough water and are dehydrated. My opinion is that I must be hydrated to get accurate test results
I did the Urine we talked about. I get results on the 13th. I know I'm good. Thanks for informing me with that.
I pulled the last 3 blood. 1- was from 06/2015, 2-01/2017, and the last was June of 2018. I was on cycle for all three. The BUN and creatinine was in range for the first 2: 0.6-1.2 or 1.66 the higher end. The third blood I was at 2.3 and the higher normal range on these results was 1.66. The doc told me I just need to drink more water. The BUN was .1 low. Strange. But everything bvb is in range. I'm fine off cycle.
More water. I posted these ones last year and my Test was around 3000. This is a trt doc and told me to come off cycle and to do the Trt correctly. Lol. When I first asked him if he did try, he looks at me and asked me, "can you not get it up?" Lolol. This doc is cool. He helped me out a lot. You had talked about possible causes of increased creatinine and you nailed it. I thi k that I'm just not drinking enough water.
The 2 more important things are your GFR and creatine levels. So,if your GFR is 15 or lower you need dialysis right away. Mine was 2,so you can imagine. They could not believe I was walking or how I did not feel any symptoms. Creatine level was high I can’t recall now. But,maybe like 10. GFR goes from 1 the worst to 100 or more. For instance my wife got a good GFR of 110. Her creative levels is less then 1. Like 0.58 or something like that. Yes,you are able to replace a kidney. All you need is one and if you have a donor they can live a healthy life with one. They are just obviously hard to come by. Wait time is 3 to 10 years or more. My wife is in the process to get tested. Yes I am on the younger side, but there is several on there 20’s where I go-could not believe it. We were raised to not go to doctors. Other then when I was a baby,I never went to doctor or hospital for nothing. They said the cause was lots of years with untreated high blood pressure. It was eating away at mg kidneys. I definitely encourage everyone now to go see a doctor and control that blood pressure, also watch yourself if your diabetic.
Bro if my kidneys were in perfect shape I'd give you one.
Maybe one of the younger guys will see this and step up.
Were all brothers to the needle and it does raise our BP.

Those numbers.change dramatically while off cycle, reason why I started that thread earlier. False or temporary positives
