-1 Blast an Cruise?

ad

I’ve been out of the game for awhile now, then two months back started back in the gym and started feeling exhausted all the time and sex drive went down the drain so I went to the doc. Results came back with test levels of 240ng/dl, the doc put me on 150mg of cyp once a week along with 1mg of anastrozole to start. I go back in October for more labs to see where I’m at so they can adjust, then I only go every 6 months for labs. What I really wanna know is how/when do you blast and come down to not mess labs up.

I waited 3 years since my last cycle, endured the blood test and my doctors crazy need for experimentation. Now I am on a correct dose for my age. Not a huge dose, but a done that I can function normally on. I just really want to stress how important all of this is and to make sure you and your doctor think you are ready. Talk to your doctor about what your doing when you get the perfect level discovered. It will be a lot easier to explain why your numbers are off. This isn’t anything to toy with and make sure you treat it that way. Just my 2 cents.

I cannot understand why you wouldn't want to sort your health out, before taking steroids which almost undoubtedly; caused or at a minimum greatly accelerated your current health problems.... before going right back on the juice.

I also cannot understand why a doctor, and particularly an endocrinologist worth his salt, would not take an (young) AAS user with low T and run a complete restart therapy on him?? The endocrine society's updated guidelines are very clear about the topics of AAS induced hypogonadism; and are also complimented by the most updated trends in studies and growing trends in practice which lean towards restart therapies.

Sure, prescribe a replacement as a palliative therapy, but while planning to attempt a restart for a true solution...if a solution is possible....?

It strikes me that you have lied about your past to your endo, while really only thinking about the future AAS usage and are certainly not being honest about that either to the endo. You haven't really researched anything around this journey and certainly don't seem to have looked at alternatives.

My doc and i spent 2 years trying to restart my system before putting me on trt. Was natty for over 4 years before that too. trt should be LAST RESORT for people our age (referring to OP).

giardap's picture

Well you tried p. + for trying man.

Steelbuilt's picture

I hear everything your saying, and I was up front about every cycle I did. I wasn’t ever planning on doing aas again due to not having the seem goals as before. I don’t want this at 26 but if it’s something I have to do then I’m gonna make the most of while I’m young. Their were just no other options laid on the table for me, and I wasn’t thinking about second guess a doctor. Maybe I should look into another doctor

Manshit's picture

If TRT is his end game there will be an Md to take his money.Seems like a very dumb thing to do for someone so young. He should look for a different endo.

giardap's picture

True on all accounts. I cannot totally fingerpoint though. I was a total clown at 26yo too!

IrishJerk's picture

Me too, I knew everything at that age.
Hahahhaha

Manshit's picture

me too!

Out of the game for a while, at 26 years old. 2 months ago you started feeling tired and no sex drive and got an appointment to see an endocrinologist. In less then 2 months he decided at 26 and 240nl you should be on a lifetime of testosterone treatment...All that in less then 2 months. Endo saw you had muscle on your frame and you werent overweight and still decided to put you on a lifetime of trt.

I smell bullshit.

Steelbuilt's picture

What do you mean by bullshit? like the doctor might be bad, and shouldn’t have put me on it? Ihaven’t had any gear in my system for up to 2+ yrs when tested. I just had my wife nagging at me to go to a doctor for awhile about it but never did, and when I started back working out 2 months back it seemed to really hit me harder.

IrishMack's picture

So you were doing gear when you were 23 and younger? My point is any doctor would not be so eager to put you on trt at 26 years old. Especially getting in to see one in less then 2 months and such. Just be honest, you are blasting and cruising at 26 years old.

Steelbuilt's picture

Well that’s my question cause yes I plan on blasting and cruising. But no I originally went and got prescribed for just well being.

IrishMack's picture

That explains it! Blamed low T for your symptoms, went and saw a point and click doc and they prescribed you 250.00 a visit trt. Since you had a child and your life was perfectly fine you stopped going to the gym, now your back and the wife didnt want you to go to jail for buying aas online so you said fuck it im going to give myself a life sentence just so I can gain some muscle.

I might be wrong, but you young guys are very easy to read.

Good luck to you, I hope your gains are eternal.

Steelbuilt's picture

If you think I shouldn’t be on trt with those levels at 26. What do you recommend to do?

IrishMack's picture

I recommend you find out why you have low levels. low sex drive, low energy, no gym, getting married, having a baby, lack of sleep, bills to pay, fast food, lots of sweets, long hours at work. At 26 that shits enough to make anyone go nuts.

Get a second opinion, lower your stress, get back in the kitchen and start eating right, get back in the gym and get back in shape, start feeling good about yourself. Chemical euphoria only lasts so long. Exhaust everything available to you before you go down a path of trt starting now. Those clinics dont give a shit about your health, they only care about money. That should have been obvious to you when they set you up so fast. It took me damn near 6 months before they even considered putting me on and I was less then 250 at 39 years old.

You may feel like shit for a little bit, but clean up those things I said and after a few months you may begin to feel better and your levels should rise. If after you tried every damn thing and you still have test in the toilet, punch yourself in the face for doing aas before you were 25 years old then go back to a real doctor.

Im going to give you a +2 because you seem to be open to at least trying, just dont give up and take the easy way.

Steelbuilt's picture

I didn’t want trt, I just saw no other choice. Everything you said I have done. I cleaned diet up to chicken, salmon, steak, brown rice and whole wheat pasta’s and vegetables. Nothing but water and milk for liquids during this period. Took mega men’s vitamins and started back working out, and all of this for two months before getting those labs done. At 26 it was the last thing I wanted to do, but was just tired of feeling like shit all the time. My thyroid stimulation hormone was also 4.58 mIU/L so I was put on Levothyroxine

I hope my experience can help you. Like you, I was also out of the game for awhile, 9 years in my case. I had several years of gym time and about 6 cycles but I wanted to treat everything as if I was a beginner. I got back to exercising in April. Again, like you, sex drive and energy levels were in the toilet thanks to my stupidity for doing a crazy stupid heavy cycle without having all the necessary ancillaries. So now, like you, I am on TRT (started in May). My does is a little higher than yours, though. I started at 200mg of test c, one pin a week but recently moved up to 240mg a week, 2 pins a week at .6ml each pin. I weighed 201 in April. Not sure on what body fat was but I started running each day. I dropped down to 179 lbs in 6.5 weeks but was 26% BF. Yikes! I am now just under 190 lbs and 18% BF. Obviously the TRT helped but I attribute more of the progress to educating myself, constantly fine tuning diet, and dedication in the gym. I am eager to start a cycle but it isn't necessary for me right now. Not sure how long you have been out of the game but I recommend you treat your reintroduction to the fitness scene as if you are a beginner as well. Do lots of research, see how your body feels, eat smart, rebuild that connection with the weights, improve form, etc. Although difficult, it's kinda exciting to start over. For me it's a second chance to do things right.

Steelbuilt's picture

It’s been two years, I had a kid. I’d been completely off diet, excerise plan, and gear for that long.

REDACTED

We don't spoon feed TRT posers...

Steelbuilt's picture

Thanks for the input, really informative and along the lines of what I was thinking. I’m only 26, and my diet and supplements have I have watched carefully. I’m feeling amazing just on 150mg once a week, not crashing after day three like I hear a lot do.

Manshit's picture

I would also agree with Greg.Get your TRT straight and you will have good gains. For me the best way to blast then is leave the TRT exactly the same but add a mild oral like anavar.Works very well and clears the system fast.Ive had very good gains on 30 mg a day.

Steelbuilt's picture

Yes I’m not planning anything between now and my next labs cause I do want to get my levels in check and know my normal ranges, just looking at what all I can do after I get their.

Sam I Am's picture

The best way is on cycle take your regular 150 mgs weekly and add the rest with prop. Then 4 weeks before your bloods stop the prop. People say prop clears way quicker but my experience has been once your levels are that high they don't magically go down. I've had good results with this method. Cyp and Enanthate can keep your levels higher much longer. I do agree with Greg. Get your trt dialed in first.

after you're dialed in and you've been stable for more than 6 months. You're looking at at least a year but more likely a year and a half to two years out.

JARHEAD2's picture

How old are you bro? I’m assuming your stats aren’t updated?
Honestly, I wouldn’t worry about a blast anytime soon & especially since you’ve been off for awhile. You should make some good gains with a diet on point & your test level up to normal now. Depending on your estrogen level or sensitivity, I’d not take the Adex everyday & see how you feel. Estrogen is important to men as well & I do better with mine being on the higher side of normal.

Steelbuilt's picture

I am making gains pretty steady, or at least getting back to where I was a few yrs back. I’m only 26, and I’ve been thinking of drop the Adex also my levels were in range I know that when I start try so I’ll probably start that this week. I have my labs at home, I’ll try an get my profile updated some, been awhile since I’ve been active on here.

I agree.
