Reaction to TNE one month later?
Long story short, I was on a cycle and one of the compounds I was including in the cycle was TNE. I was dosing 50mg three to four times a week. I rotated the site injections (all IM) in both deltoids, right glute, and both quads. My last injection was March 20th - I never had any issues on any of the injections.
On April 16th I noticed a little red rash at one of the injection sites - a day later I had two additional rashes on another two injection sites. All itchy and little red and raised - tonight I noticed that both deltoids now have little red rashes forming - not itching yet.
I checked my temperature - no fever.
Question to the community is has anyone ever heard of this and/or experienced it? Maybe its something completely unrelated to TNE but thought it was odd its at each injection site and no where else.... it also doesn't seem contagious as the lady hasn't broken out or anything.

Uchibah458I am a big fan of TNE and can honestly say I have never encountered anything remotely close to what you are describing. It seems too long for an adversed reaction, but cant completely rule that out. Like herp said it could be your body's cortisone levels increasing after having been somewhat suppressed on cycle. Benadryl if it starts to itch and NSAID of some sort if you end up with a fever. Otherwise, wait it out and see where it goes. Good luck brother and I hope it works out well for you.
A month later and just happening at injection sites now?? Super wierd. If it don't go away soon I would be seeing a doc. Especially if they start to swell, itch more, or get bigger.
Going in tomorrow - the ones on shoulder went away - two on legs are faded but still there. One on the cheek is faded too - I honestly am stumped on this - I’ve tried benedryl, cephlex and not seeing anything, the benedryl maybe helped stopped the itching... that’s actually one of the symptoms that has stopped. It’s not hot to the touch, no cysts that I can feel. Guess I’ll see what the doc says tomorrow.
Never know, it could be completely unrelated. I didn't know that I was allergic to Tide laundry detergent (No, I didn't eat the pods) until I was 24 and it sent me to the ER in anaphylaptic shock. Took two more follow ups with an allergeinst to identify the cause, but my point is to keep an open mind and don't get locked in the the mindset that it was for a fact the gear or you may miss the actual cause if it was unrelated.
Lol on the not eating the laundry pods - saw the doc today - she said she’s not worried about it and doesn’t think it’s any type of infection. She specifically asked if I’ve taken anything lately and led right in with “supplements” and said a spot could have a direct flare up from a medicine and said it wouldn’t be anything to worry about since it’s subsiding... which I said no new supplements. Not ready to spill the beans on what I did. Think I’m in the clear now but yeah this was one heck of a learning experience.
Good to hear that things are looking up for you. I have had my fair share of scares from injections and it's never fun. I once thought that I had an infection from trying a sub-q test injection that turned out to be a sterile abscess and no big deal. I'm glad that you didn't spill it to your doctor. There is most certainly a time and place to come clean to the doctor, and please do not think that I am advocating against that. However, once you have "anabolic steroid use/abuse" on your medical records it's a bitch to get them off. Basically boils down to finding a new doctor who will take your word on your past and not request that medical records from your last doctor be sent to them.
Yep just wait it out. Does it itch? If so try benadryl. Something whether solvent or whatever just leave the sites alone that you notice it in and don't inject in those spots until red streaks or areas are gone. Just read itching. It's autoimmune response. Try 25mg of benadryl when you can take it and a little ibuprofen. Your body doesn't like one of the ingredients
Benedryl seemed to help it out some - still is there though, doesn’t itch and the red has faded to pink. The spots on shoulder have went away - I’ve never experienced this and I’ve ran too many cycles to count. Honestly never heard of it either until reading through your response and others response to you. I always stuck to long esters and the same compounds. Appreciate the insight... just goes to show you never stop learning.
He's been off for a month, could this be his body's cortisone levels increasing after having been somewhat suppressed on cycle? And maybe his pin sites werent fully healed so now he's having an immune response? His symptoms are sounding like simple old contact dermatitis, or excema.
I was going to say the same thing.. I would also check e2. High e2 makes my eczema flare up, have not not had it since I was a kid other than that.
Same here, when I came off my cycle I started to get an excema flare up, I get it between my fingers, sucks. I've got eucrisa, which is the only thing that works really, so that stopped it.
Absolutely possible.. If he takes benadryl for a few days with ibuprofen it should clear up. Unfortunately happens when you stick a long needle into a muscle. And the body doesn't really like the test or water or whatever is in the solution.
Keep your eye on it. Take an ink pen and trace around the red area if it continues to growoutside the ink line just go to the Dr to be on the safe side. It could very well be nothing but better to be safe than sorry.
Yep did that - never grew outside of it - good call out!
I had this several times after water based injections. I had little red lumps a bit pain, no fever and 1 week later it was gone . I think its cause the compound is still in the injection area and needs time until its decomposed!
I hope your right - doesn’t seem to be an infection. No fever, no signs or symptoms of infection other then it being red, little raised, but that’s all subsided. Now it’s just red, or well pinkish
LEANING-MACHINEI think this product is gaining in popularity, ive heard good results can be achieved with this.
Frequented any brothels recently?
Uchibah458LOLOL
The odds are slim... but it is possible.
Out of curiousity, what were the other compounds? Can't rule those out, especially if there were some oils you haven't ran before, different compounds, carriers, solvents, etc. TNE I think is in and out in like 8 hours or so, so can't see how that would be an issue a month later. It is weird though, hope someone can offer some insight, I'm very curious.
My thoughts exactly - I ran the TNE for about a month alongside T3 and prop. I added in the TNE as a pre-workout - little extra push to get through the low carbs/calories. I don't do recreation drugs or any other prescribed meds. Not taking any niacin or any OTC supplements at this time.
Is it hot to the touch
Nope - checked that out too!
