+ 4 Blood Results / Post Run and Post Niacin flush with Milk thistle

ad

The first results I posted a few weeks back after a test Cyp & Tbol run. As you can see my cholesterol and lever enzymes where slightly elevated. The last three pictures are results I got today after 4 weeks doing a Niacin flush with Milk thistle. You can see the levels have returned within range....still on the high side so I will continue for another few weeks with the same protocol of 2grams of Niacin and 175mg X4 of Milk thistle.

The odd thing is my RBC came back slightly high this time. I wasn't exactly fasted when I gave blood and I did 1 hoir of lifting two hours prior to my blood test. I do not have any history of elevated blood cell counts of any kind FYI

I donated blood back mid December and plan to again this week so hopefully that will drop it back again.

Any thoughts?

Blood donated.....I didn't have the time scheduled out today to give the double reds though. Takes an additional 45 minutes ....BUT I went ahead and scheduled it 8 weeks from now.

Where to get that niacin/milk thistle? I have some Cholesterol meds my shit was high but id like to drink some extracts every day if possible. Maybe liver 52???

Hunter2400's picture

I get them from the vitamin shoppe but you can easily find them on Amazon as well. With the Niacin, make sure you DO NOT get the non-flushing kind.....you want it to flush!

You said that you get "THEM". Can u elaborate when you have the time. Is there an " all in 1 product?" Is there something that has a combo of the two, maybe individually. Im going to research more, but I like how your numbers dropped, Fast!
My doc tells me to come back in 6 months that it takes time! Lolol. Im like, fuck that and fuxk you. I wamt this cholesterol normal by this afternoon! what is this 6 month busines. My wife isnt giving birth fkr fux sakes

Wow. My LDL and HDL were in ramge but my total cholesterol amd triglycerides were. Bit high. 244 which is 44 for total cholesterol and triglycerides were 180 which was 40 over amd I ate clean amd fasted. Susta Tren, amd deca this cycle. And even thougn i slipped here and there sharing a few peaces of pizza...I know its the Namdrolones as well as my cheat meals...just a bag of skittles. Niacin with milk thistle sounds good. Thanks for posting that bro. I needed to see that. You may have to give a pint of blood but that may be extreme

Low dose Aspirin in hand.....should have no problem making a donation tomorrow. Thanks for the help fella's!

My hemoglobin was 18.2 when i donated yesterday. I feel so much better today its crazy. Definitely get that shit done tomorrow you'll feel like a new man.

Hunter2400's picture

Thanks Ryan.....I actually feel ok. Been working alot of 12 hour shifts this past week so a little sluggish but nothing out of the ordinary. Crazy how numbers can be skewed and we not even know sometimes.....big reason to stay on top of blood checks. Will definitely be donating tomorrow. Do you currently just donate or do you take an Aspirin regiment as well?

ryansolo's picture

I just donate every 6 weeks..mine got a litte high this time because they missed my vein and was only able to fill like a 1/4 of the bag last time.

Hunter2400's picture

Gotcha.....good deal man.... Preciate the help!

Ok good. Finish donating and you can relax a little. If possible recheck in a month or so. Ask your md if u can continue the baby aspirin. At our age it's a benefit outweigh the risk thing. Would stay on it until you recheck. If you get any blood in poop just stop. As long as you take it with food you will be fine and have some protection from clotting issues.

Hunter2400's picture

Good looking out dude.....you just answered my next question, should I continue the aspirin regiment after donating tomorrow. I follow alot of your post and you always have insightful info with a positive attitude and it's greatly appreciated!

RangerVet's picture

If you were my brother i would say yes. At least until you confirm your numbers are better in a month or whenever. Thank you

Hunter2400's picture

Thanks Ranger .....I'm off the next couple of days and plan to donate on one of them. I have no other health issues so I'll pick up some baby aspirin this afternoon at CVS!

Rusty I’ve read mixed feedback on donating wholeblood vs doubleredblood.
My hematocrit on cycle likes to climb with red cells which makes sense for double red donation.

Is there any reason besides high iron and such you would suggest donating whole blood over double?

back40's picture

Donating double red blood cell is the most immediate solution to the problem. I couldn't get it ordered when i needed it and it could only be done at a few locations. It absolutely the right call if you can get this treatment.

Hunter2400's picture

Thanks Rusty....will definitely be donating within one to two days!

RangerVet's picture

You really need to donate asap. If your healthy take 81mg baby aspirin after breakfast. Keep your blood a little thinner until you can drop some blood. If u have any other questions just ask. +1 for bloods

Hunter2400's picture

Any concern about taking aspirin this afternoon?

back40's picture

That's what i'm thinking too. Baby aspirin and stay hydrated. Your bloods too thick... making you high risk for stroke. It might be greater then 6months for rbc/hemo to come back to normal. Until then aspirin will thin your blood. Stay away from red meat and steriods. Try vitamin e or omega 3 oils with milk thistle for liver protection...if you dont have liv-52 or tudca.

Hunter2400's picture

I was about to order some tudca after my first post bloods were pulled but then I found two new bottles of Milk thistle in my cabinet. I will probably switch once I run out. Will also jump back on the fish oil which I have on hand but forget to take from time to time.

Nope just take after eating something.
