Help an old looking 50 year old man!
Hi There,
I've been drawn to looking at boosting my HGH, because I don't feel I have any whatsoever!
I can't shift my body fat, my hair is turning grey (whats left of it) and my face is sliding down my skull, I have lax skin under my chin that I see 70 year olds with. My skin is so lax, that if I bend down too quick, my ears clap together!
I eat well and I exercise daily, normally cycling 12 to 15 miles on my bike. I also do at least 10,000 steps a day.
I don't smoke and I gave up booze completely almost 4 months ago.
My GP doesn't seem too interested in running any hormone blood tests so I may pay private (I live in the UK)
I like the look of peptides, especially Ipamorelin and have worked out the dose and how many ticks equal 300mcg etc.
But I am hesitant. I have tried everything to look my age and spent a fortune on creams, lotions and snake oil, £500 on RF skin tightening, which did nothing but eat my savings up :(
So I am hesitant at taking peptides in case its another expensive folly.
At my age I may get more out of boosting GH than a person of 30 and I have heard that peptides can really boost GH and collagen etc. My joints are all sore and I just feel wrecked.
Is this worth a shot or is there something you could all recommend (I'm saving surgery to the very last resort).
I heard of something called MK677.
But I want the least risky choice because I am a bit of a scaredy cat when it comes to taking stuff, in case my brain or heart explode etc.
Any help would be welcome.
Best wishes

how are you finding it all mrquay? i sent you a friend button
All bloodwork appears normal? I think they said my testosterone was something like 22 Testosterone (nmol/L)?
Does that sound ok? They said it was fine. They didnt check IGF-1 though, I may have to pay privately for that.
I have started taking L-arganine and L-Lysine at night and it does show I get more deep sleep which I understand releases GH.
They have found that I have a slight heart defect, a very slight narrowing of the artery. They said it wasn't significant, so I am now worried that Ipam may affect this, especially if they give me mild medication.
Any thoughts?
Does creating more GH create more collagen?
I am experimenting with L-Lysine and Argenine at night to help me sleep deeper and so far it is having an effect. I have more Deep sleep and more REM sleep.
All of the ipamorelin in the world cannot help if your pituitary gland is not capable of producing enough gh. Peptides stimulate natural production bit if that is not possible you will just be wasting money. Plus if the skin is that loose not sure how much that could help anyway. As said already start with blood work and see where you are at. There are tests done on kids to see if they can produce enough gh. Im not smart enough in these things to know if its the same test for adults.
Have your testosterone and hgh levels checked. If they are low then talk to your Dr about taking hgh and testosterone to get your levels in a normal range.
Thanks guys,
I guess I need an IGF-1 test too see whats going on, or not going on?
I obviously am creating something but not much and I think that's reflected in my poor sleep and I know how important sleep is for HGH release.
Many thanks
