+ 2 2 on / 2 off continuous cycle ?

ad

I'm 44 y.o. hobby athlete (Jiujitsu). I train my sport 4 to 7 times / week, additionally I run a few times (I coach my kid's cross country team and my GF runs), do some therapeutic lifting, and have a physical job.
I am in great shape and have very low body fat, great diet, ZMK/multi mineral supp, no alcohol or drugs or nicotine, hardly any sugar, T=625
Basically, I need to lift more and keep about 10lbs lean muscle. I currently cannot do any additional work on top of the activities I described above - I am barely recovering from them. Also I am naturally very skinny. 3 years ago, I did about 3 months of bodybuilding
, no supps except whey, gained 8 lbs lean, lost it all as soon as I backed off the lifting and started training Jits.
So in order for me to add real lifting back I nto my life, I need something extra.
Additionally, my training program is built around a 4 week cycle, roughly 2 weeks hard 2 weeks easier. This is just what I've come upon after years of experimenting - it works best for me, my body is naturally on this cycle. So, if I'm going to us AAS, the cycle will have to follow this existing pattern. I would be fine skipping an AAS cycle every X cycles. I have never used gear (or trt) before. I don't need or expect quick gains.
I would like a simple stack with minimal sides, maybe something just a little more than a trt. I'm also not attached to the stack having test.
Thanks guys!

I had read some stuff from somebody Roberts about short cycles and he'd said that after twp weeks, natural production starts to shut down. So I figured since I am on a two week work cycle, why not try to sych it up. But I also can see how that could cause a yoyo situation and that it would be hard to get anything dialed in.

twistedsister's picture

After two weeks your gear is barely starting to shine anyways

Babaji's picture

Wow thanks for all the feedback!
Looks like some vague consensus on:
Don't put my good natty test at risk,
Eat way more,
Read way more,
Read about peptides, gh, lr3,
Realize that aas cycles and work/recovery cycles are 2 separate things that don't need to mirror each other.
Thanks again!

You got it get in the groove then save that gear for later i think youll be suprised at what good igf can do

With the amount of cardio you engage in your goal of +10lbm will be tough to achieve. You've proven that already with your lost gains.

I would recommend, if you really cannot drop a significant part of your cardiovascular work in order to add weights, to manipulate fuel to see if you caN start gaining weight with your program. If you just add aas now you will simply yoyo again.

Take the food approach, add say 500cals a day and assess after few weeks. If you manage to achieve success that way and have the dicipline for the food then maybe consider aas.

Cardio kills gains

2 weeks off probably won't be long enough to recover, even from a 2 week blast. I have heard of 2-on-4-off. Do I recommend it? Nope. But it would be crass to not link this article. Read it. Don't do anything, just read it for the info

I use creatine and glutamine already.

twistedsister's picture

That has nothing to do with nutrition he's talking about 6 meals a day and tracking your macros.
You cannot replace whole foods with a powder

Honesty, at your age, my advice would be to talk to a test doctor. Go through the system for a year, learn the ins and outs. Do it the right way, soak up everything here. Then when you realize your test doctor is really expensive, research sources here that match what your looking for. Rusty has some great advice for first time users also.

What doc would put me on test if I'm already at 625? Anyways it's a rhetorical question - I definitely can't afford a doc outside of insurance.

daksmack's picture

Then run a beginner cycle of test cypinate and quit beating around the bush. Hey, or don't

That's what I was thinking.

I thinking he is looking for someone to say hey run this for two weeks, but that's not going to happen here.

Have you looked into creatine mate?

At 44 you're at a higher risk of not recovering your natural test levels after a cycle of steroid. Worth thinking about. I'd be a hypocrite to say don't do gear as I'm an avid user myself but I'm only trying to be helpful in he limited way I can.

If you do decided to jump on I'd follow the beginners cycle which is well documented on here and also have everything on hand when you start. The steroids won't mind if you work out hard 2 weeks in a row and 2 weeks light, hell go hard all day long and the steorids won't mind.

Use the research bar on the menu and look up everything you need to know.

Have you a link to a study that conclusively shows that orally ingested glutamine does anything? I've done heaps of research on glutamine--like every other supplement--and it seems only massive amounts administered intravenously has been clinically shown to be effective for tissue repair. Creatine is solid, but the bottom line with glutamine always seems to be "well, it might do something..."

I'm calling scam on it.

"Follow the existing pattern"

AAS won't do you any good because you are following your existing pattern. To gain more muscle you have to change your existing pattern

twistedsister's picture

I used to train jiu jitsu and Thai boxing plus do mma conditioning and the amount calories you would have to consume to put in 10 lbs is going to be hard I never could gain weight train 3 hours a day I only ever fought amateur but the amount of cardio even at that level is insane... of course I didn't know what gear even was at the time.
Don't do a 2 week cycle that's just crazy

Babaji's picture

Why would a series of 2 week cycles be crazy? Wouldn't 2 weeks be the perfect length to minimize pct?

twistedsister's picture

This is just an ignorant statement... no it would be the perfect length to never recover and fry your gonads then all the creatine in the world won't help you.

Did you notice the question marks?

Those were questions not statements.

But still someone pussy negs.

Sam I Am's picture

Twist is right about the food. At his age I doubt if he recovers.

Agree,
Would be a shame to fuck up a test level of 650.

And twist was right about the food and maybe igf or some other peptides.

You started late Burr you know the deal.

CBBurrr's picture

Yes i do
I only had 440 to start with and it took 3 cycles to run that into the dirt.

twistedsister's picture

Did I comment on it I assumed the fact I negged it would be obvious but here I'll add the -1
Go fuck yourself
I did see the question mark and it's a stupid question I just told him it's a bad idea then he asks again go ahead and spoon feed him if you want looks like pure laziness and lack of research to me pussy neg

CBBurrr's picture

fuck you too,

some guys do research by coming to a forum and asking questions.
I see you try to be helpful sometimes, but other times you are just a prick.

-1 for being a prick

Kinda like when you vouched for gb when I told everyone was a scammer ... go look on his page.

He's been around for a couple months now, and I've made a purchase... I've not used his test E long enough to give it a go or no go. I'd feel like a chump if I sign off on test E and it turns out weak,
I can vouch for the strength of the Sust 300, that stuff is short ester and pinning a cc of it made me break out and spiked my e2.

I got some great pumps the adrol, but it was my first try with adrol, so I i cant reveiw it based on how it feels compared to other adrol.

I probably wont say shit about the test E untl I run bloodwork,or notice something drastic with my cycle,

CBBurrr's picture

Not really, you would bounce back lower and lower each time.

650 is pretty damn good at 44ys, i wouldn't fuck with it

twistedsister's picture

Why are you trying to give this guy karma is he a buddy of your tell what on here deserves plus 3 ?

CBBurrr's picture

I'm just offsetting your negs, cause its just a guy asking questions.

He isnt advizing people to do this, and hasnt done it himself.
He's researching and learning just how good his 650 test level is.

Seems like he is getting good advice and will probably heed it.

twistedsister's picture

Cool story
I've seen no where on here where he's takin anyone's advice
That's your opinion done arguing with you

Stop reseting my karma I just readded a -2 pos

After doing some research on AAS you should under stand why this idea is silly. Most anabolics don't build up in your system untill week 4 or 6 some are more than that. Which is where your going to see the most progress. It's about keeping the levels stable. Some orals will give faster results but are very hard on your liver and shut off your natty test production . Any more I'll get in trouble for trying to spoon feed you.

Jayzgainz's picture

Along the same lines of what I was thinking. There are things that work quick but a quick fix usually isnt the way to go. And a lot of guys dont have natural t that high. As stated already. Probably best not to mess with a good thing.
Level up!!

... maybe research igf lr3

irongame427's picture

Ya, and of gh. Although gh isn't a huge muscle builder it will with proper cals and a virgin user do some pretty great things, he mentioned recovery is a problem, gh or igf-1 will definitely help this big time. And this way you're not messing with your natty test levels. There's plenty of guys in there 20s never used gear who don't have test levels that high. Igf-1 I think would be a good, works faster then gh, adds more size and strength, still will help recovery a lot etc. and it's cheaper.

twistedsister's picture

I agree definitely will help and good igf will put some weight on him can't beat good igf with natty test levels of over 600 and just trying to put on 10 lbs
Never ran des but the lr3 is great

Babaji's picture

I read up on igf1-lr3 and found some posts saying that only the recombinant stuff from E.coli is bio active, and all he synthesized stuff is bunk, and that the recombinant stuff is impossible to find. Do any of y'all know about that?

CBBurrr's picture

Ive never used it, just some peptides for me.
Ghrp and ghrh are pretty cheap to experiment with. I can only take them at night because of the drowsiness.
