First Cycle Questions (Newbie Advice)
Hi eroids. I am new to the AS game. I have been looking around for information on first cycles for a couple of months now and seem to be getting stumbled upon alot of different answers to some of my questions. I have made a new topic in here hoping some experienced members could guide me in the right direction to some of my concerns. I hope some of these questions do not sound stupid to some of the vets on here but i am trying to absorb as much information as possible so i can get this right first time round.
This cycle will be in the near future (around May/June) so any information you could throw my way would be great.
I am planning to run a 10-12 week cycle of Test-E only at 500mg per week split into 2 pins at 250mg each.
Should i run a 10 week or a 12 week course for the first tme? And also should i run a 500mg per week cycle or would people advise on a 400mg per week?
This is purely down to it being my first cycle and will want to do this slowly as possible as i am not in a rush for gains and would rather do this with as minimal sides as possible.
The Test E i have purchased contains 300mg every 1ml. How much Test E should i draw into the barrel for A: 250mg shot or
B: 200mg shot?
(Sorry my mathematics is terrible)
Or would anybody suggest just shooting the full 1ml every time at 300mg? These seems like the easiest option but for obvious reasons not the cleverest and i would not prefer to do this unless reccommended.
I believe it takes around 4 weeks maybe? For the long ester to kick in. Does this mean if i am likely to have a bad reaction to my gear that i will only feel something then? Will it then be to late to react?
(Sorry about this question, it sounds really stupid reading this back but it is something that bothers me the most "severe paranoia'')
Should i run Arimidex with my cycle? And if so how much would be fine to cut out sides and gyno? I know some people say different things about this and this leads to my confusion, again i am all about a really basic and simple cycle with the least sides.
Should i run HCG or not?
Should my PCT consist of Nolva and Clomid together? Or should i run 1 without the other and keep to hand the other just incase i may need the other one?
Is Aromasin reccomended on first cycle or not?
Should i use Creatine Mono on cycle and on PCT or not?
Or on cycle and not on PCT?
(I ask this because of water retention issues)
Would an EPI Pen be a good idea to stock up on? I dont know if it is possible to be allergic to Test or carrier oils but i like to be safe than sorry.
Should i change my workout to better suit my gains? I currently run fierce 5 most workouts, but have recently changed to a 3 day split due to heavy work lately (construction worker). I have not been able to perform a solid full body work out most days at present due to my workload so hence the reason a 3day split has been introduced. I intend to change this to a 5 day split if reccomended? Or if anybody could point me in the right direction of the best workout to do while on cycle?
I will stock all nessesary gear/ equipment before cycle.
Thanks for reading this. I will be reading up alot more for more information so i will have all the knowledge before i perform my cycle. I would appreciate if you could answer some of my questions.

the_1_man_riotSo does anybody have any more answers to some of these questions? Thanks
Reference your math question:
Your syringe breaks up 1ml with 10 clear marking at every .10ml, and every .10ml is further broken down by 10 X .01ml hashes. The pattern is a function of 10.
You have 300mg per ml or 30mg per each .10ml. So if you want a 500mg shot then divide it by 300 and you get 1.66 or 1.7ml. If you want 400mg then 1.33ml or 1.4ml.
Learn your math before you pin. You could really hurt yourself if you don't.
the_1_man_riotSo if i wanted a shot at 250mg it would be 0.65ml?
And a 200mg shot would be 0.33ml?
No, it is .84ml for 250mg, and .67ml for 200mg.
250/300 and 200/300 is how I arrived at the quantities.
Since it's your first cycle - I would suggest just running the Test E at one shot - 300mg per week - E has a half life of around 10 days so splitting it into two shots per week seems kind of pointless - that regimen is generally used for the shorter esters. Also - it will make monitoring your cycle easier - a 10ml amp will last 10 weeks.
Without trying to sound critical - all the comments here about your diet are pretty spot on..also - looking at your exercise routine - sorry, I can't see you getting huge on that. Eg: your back routine as quoted wont see any growth/size. You also failed to mention sets/reps/weight in your routine. I don't know what a 'fierce five day workout' is...I only know that consistent, correct, progressive training and diet make gains.
the_1_man_riotYes i agree. I will sort my diet out well before cycle.
Fierce 5 is a well known begginers workout. If you google it you will find it. It is ment to be 1 of the best.
Could you please comment on why this back routine would not work?
All around sets of 3 of 8-10
Weight is maxed out
I didn't say it wouldn't work - just that you wont see size. All exercises work the muscle. Since there are far bigger guys here than me who can advise you, I can only talk from my own experience -I have been plugging away in the gym for over 30 years and have found what works for me. The following comments are simply my opinion - the back is a large and complex muscle group and it needs to be hit with a number of exercises to develop the various muscle groups and give it both width and depth. I don't think any back workout is complete without heavy seated rows and/or T-bar rows. Also lat pull-downs are an important back exercise along with bent-over dumbbell rows. The trapezoid muscle runs across the shoulder and also down between the shoulder-blades, so shrugs are important too. Dumbbell pullovers are a great finishing exercise for the chest (that's when I use it), and is useful for lat stretching - but I'm not sure it's so good for size/growth - maybe a good warm up exercise before hitting the back. Arnie said years ago that 14-16 sets per body part is sufficient - so for back that would be 5 different exercises by 3 sets. As I said - the foregoing is only my opinion based on my experience (my avatar is me, now).
the_1_man_riotI see where you are coming from. The only reason for me doing dumbell pull overs is a lack of equipment (training from home). This is a temporary thing. I will adjust workout and diet accordingly before cycling. You have been in this game alot longer than me so your advise is greatly appreciated.
No probs mate. I trained at home for 20 years - but I accumulated a lot of equipment over time and had it all in a 'man cave' (shed), I also trained alone. It's amazing what can be done with limited equipment - keep at it - focus on your goals and work towards them. Good luck. Keep us posted.
I agree 100% +3
Thanks mate.
backonroidshttps://www.eroids.com/forum/steroids-qa/anabolic-steroids/new-guys-this...
Maybe read through this to make sure all is on point , then research more get your baseline bloods done like Kibby as said . Then let's go from there
backonroids has hit the nail on the head.....
Layout your stats, goals, diet, experience to help others help you.
FIRTS before Anything you need baseline bloods!
You will need these to see how you respond to steroids and ai's ect.
Then it's reaserch and more reaserch....good luck buddy
the_1_man_riotI got a full blood count and alls i was told is "its all normal" no extra information.
I live in U.K so its pretty hard getting roid related things done through G.P
Request a print out, just ask at reception they will do it for you. No need to make an appointment just walk in and ask.
the_1_man_riotDo you know of anymore excuses to ask my GP to get more bloods done inbetween and post cycle?
Just go privet bro.....
the_1_man_riotWill do bro. Thanks for the input.
Yeh I go privet mate....if you need some more advice on the subject just shoot me an fr and I'll pm you bro
backonroidsMore stats please - diet training bf goals etc
the_1_man_riot28 years old. Training was the fierce 5 workout for around 2 years. This has now changed (temporary) into a 3day split which is:
Mon: Chest / Triceps
Barbell Bench presses
Dumbell flys
Press ups
Dumbell Tricep Extentions
Dumbell Kickbacks
Dips.
Wed: Back / Biceps / Forearms
Barbell Rows (shoulder)
Pull ups
Dumbell Pullovers.
Curls (all ways)
Fri: Shoulders / Abs
Dumbell Presses
Rumbell Raises (both ways)
Crunches
Buttups
Planks
Diet is consisting of around 2500 - 3000 cals per day which included Breakfast, Dinner, Tea, Supper with protein shakes inbetween (3)
Dont know my body fat?
Goal is to get bigger ( hypertrophy)
Ummmmmm, why the fuck aren't you training your legs???? Were they amputated? If not you have no business running steroids.
the_1_man_riotI do. Its just temporary as i stated while heavy work is going on. Lower back is injury prone also.
From Stats
Maybe lower legs were amputated,.............. or ???
That's funny. Unless, of course, his legs are amputated. In that case shame on both of us.
That is not much above maintenance levels.
If you want to grow, you need to eat. Good is much more important than steroids.
Again FOOD, ....... not some magic pill.
the_1_man_riotI do eat more than that usually. Am just giving a rough estimate. And yes i wilk eat more when i cycle.
You should be eating more OFF cycle!....if you can't eat and gain off cycle at 170# then you won't be able to support any new muscle growth when on, so it's just a waste to cycle....
Peanut butter, sweet and red potatoes, whole grain breads and pasta, the list goes on...
Get some weight/mass on you first...learn how to consume those extra 500-1000 cals each day, believe me it's harder than you might think to eat like you need to in order to warrant any aas Cycle!...
Read read read...eat eat eat....sleep eat sleep lift...repeat repeat....
Spend some time in the nutrition section, so much info in there......stalk the profiles/forums of the nutrition guys, ( makwa..meddx..catylist..tonytulo...) just to name a few.....
This should get you going in the right direction....
backonroidsIt's about consistency if you can't be consistent now what hope do you have ?
the_1_man_riotI have been consistant for 2 years previously. I will do what it takes...trust me
We need to know your body fat. There are charts on the internet, with corresponding pictures. Find one that closely matches you and let us know. Cant give you proper. Uncle advice without it.
Also, a three times a week split doesn't usually cut it (there are exceptions). Diet needs to be lakes out as well and raised up.
the_1_man_riotAlot of the pics are different so i would suggest 15-25%. The 3day split is just for now. Within the next month i will be onto a 5day split which will include legs also and lower back.
backonroidsCould you give us a outline of your diet , what you eat etc . I'm just concerned with the amount of questions you have asked if I am honest with you .. I would maybe lay off the idea for now and do a lot more research.
the_1_man_riotThis cycle is for the future, not right now.
Breakfast:
Toast / Protein Shake (milk).
Or crumpets
Dinner:
Chicken & Pasta or tuna pasta/ Chicken strips / Crisp / Chocolate / Can of pop
Pre Workout: Protein shake
Workout
Post Workout: Protein shake / Dextrose
Tea: Steak / Chipa / Peas / Can of pop
Will vary but consists of the same kinda stuff maybe even a cake and cup of tea later on
Supper: Can vary but sumtimes consists of some bad kinda carbs again
My diet is terrible i know
This is atrocious - unless you are actually taking the pish??
Presuming you are not joking, you need to start with the basics, nutrition + training
Learn how to program the body to burn fat as a primary fuel source
Learn how to use carbs to fuel muscles around training
Learn all about different foods that can help achieve both goals (cake is not on this list, ever. Food is fuel, make peace with it)
Learn about insulin sensitivity and how to manage it
Accept that build muscle/lose fat at the same time is a children's fairytale
Accept that the perpetual bulk does not work
Accept that the body will adapt to EVERYTHING!!! - Learn about periodisation for food
Learn how to microcycle your carb usage/fat usage to actually reset insulin sensitivity
Re: your bf guesstimation: 15-25% means 25% - make peace with it - this is too high to focus on any sort of a bulk, get the fat down first, even if it takes a year to do so properly
Learn about hormone management - cortisol, sleep hormones (recovery) and insulin initially
Learn about the real supplementation needs only - dont ever buy bullshit, educate yourself so you dont waste money/time/energy/focus on rubbish like glutamine or flavoured anything
Learn about vitamins and antioxidants - how to get naturally (broccoli/berries etc) and how to effectively supplement without ruining hormonal balance or where the tradeoffs are-- e.g. taking vit C to reduce cortisol levels post workout is good on paper but in fact, will stifle hypertrophy post workout
Get your diet right man, nothing matters more
Lean how to train properly, and optimally with weights, bands, straps and bodyweight
Learn about periodisation
Learn how to create a properly periodised hypertrophy-oriented (this will include engagement weeks, strength weeks overload weeks etc, but the focus will be hypertrophy) workout over minimum 6/7 weeks, but ideally 12/14 (of course you can do a 6-7 weeker twice, but again the body adapts to everything over time)
Create a periodised program on the principles of exercise execution you should have learned by now and execute
Once you nail the above and this will take time (although there are shortcuts), and have leaned out first and afterwards put on some more weight, you could contemplate working with AAS. Start with learning about your current situation - maybe your test levels are already optimal, who knows, but that really is a long way down the line for you.
Excellent...................... definitely deserves a +3 from me....................... fuckers should be pouring karma into that post, but it dont seem to happen like that these days.
Anyways bro............... enjoy +3 from an old schooler
I backed you on it.
This guy has been hiding on us for three years, needs to do more posting obviously.
just trying to give encouragement bro............ i notice a few guys putting good info out and getting nothing from it....................... karma system was designed to encourage posting back in the day, i know a lot knock it !.. but without it eroids would lose its identity i think.
I treat it as a pat on the back for the time it took a guy to put his thoughts into a post
Getting karma from Mods back in the early days was like receiving a Trophy LOL.
It was. I think most of my early points came directly from you bro lol. That said I apologize for not spending more time rewarding guys. I get spread a little thin around here most days.
the_1_man_riotOk.
I have bulked from 10stone to 12stone.
I do not believe i need 2 loose any weight now in order to bulk again. I do not look fat in the mirror, maybe just on my stomach but i am not worried about this just yet.
Coolio
Might be worth getting a bf test done, although there is only so much a calipers will tell ya
At 12 stone, there is so much more growing you could do with grub before committing to aas
the_1_man_riotThere is alot much more growing to do. That is why i believe cutting now would be a bas idea as i would loose everything i have gained. My goal was to bulk to a decent size (around 13-14 stone) and then rip back down to 12.
I believe i have reached my potential weight for my size 5"6. I wanted to cycle to put the extra muscle mass on before i cut.
Bodybuilding in its true form is about "Building"..... ie GROWTH!!
if you are just starting out at this game i would suggest you keep bulking for a min 2yrs...... Size equals strength which leads to ballistic style workouts that create millions of micro- tears in the muscle cells.... this is when feeding/rest does the magic......... dont fall into the trap most young gym rats fall into with this short term bulk/cut pallava........... its fkn BS it dont work for serious long term lasting gains.
Get your head straight!......... yous either GROWING full blast......... or get used to looking in the mirror and seeing the old you for year after year.
You are the Master of your own Destiny!
Set your Goal.................................................... STICK WITH IT.

backonroidsNot a great diet click the link I gave go to nutrition section , you'll thank me one day mate .. no where near enough whole foods all kcal we will point you in the right direction
the_1_man_riotI am going to introduce some oats into my diet. I cant eat fruit unless its in smoothies. And most other stuff i just cant eat (disorder maybe) but i will read up mate thanks alot
backonroidsIf you can't eat no point with juice mate
You've been giving out some good advice lately bro. Keep it up +2
backonroidsCheers man appricate it
Pin it once a week,it wont make a difference to blood levels.saves you pinning twice a week
Run an ai,you will need to control you estrogen and it will be elevated if not on an ai.
Add hcg into your cycle twice a week at 500ius x2,
