meal prep mail
ad
Im sure nothing is going to be the same as meal prep at home. And its going to cost much more. So knowing both those facts, im still looking for a meal prep mail program that maybe somebody has used or is aware of that is of better quality than others. I just dont have the time to prep meals. ill be lucky if I get the time to workout. today is my first day off in 3 weeks, and it doesnt look like that is going to change much anytime soon...

rich piana meals are much better in price and quantity than megafit meals, but the steak/eggs/potatoes, both meatballs plates, turkey bolognese are pretty nasty. And they just dont have enough meals to mix it up so I put it on hold today and placed an order with ICON meals. that pack should be here in a couple days, from the looks of their site they change meals weekly or something close....
I agree the piana meals taste worse than a bad tv dinner ...nasty
Rich piana meals arrived today. I got more than double the amount for like $30 more than megafit meals...much better deal based on quantity....I'll update quality in a week....
Alright so ive had 10 of them so far, I feel much more full on these, quality of food is decent. I dont care much for meatballs and pasta but adding a little bit of parmesan was enough to get it down. If megafit and 5% meals where the same price i think I would still take 5%, so the fact that they are much less is a huge incentive to stick with 5%.....Certainly feel like I got my money's worth! And this has sure helped my diet being able to eat 10:30/1pm/3:30 and not have to try and prep or eat out somewhere is huge....
OK so the megafit meals came about 3 days ago, they got here pretty quick. A couple of them were decent but for $10 and $12 a piece they are just not worth it....The piana meals should be here wed and then every wed until I cancel. So ill update those in another week or so.
Another place i found is ICON meals. they have a huge selection, lots of $7 meals so i might end up giving them a try. They are all over youtube too...
Thanks for the update brother Roid Noid! Mega fit meals are on the pricey side and although the service was great, if they're lacking in taste, then it's just not worth it!
I checked out icon meals and they're pretty inexpensive! I also came across this meal prep company, bite meals! They're prices range from 6-9 dollars a meal! They offer combo meals where you can get 16 assorted chicken meals for $86.00! They ship fresh, not frozen, so shipping could be costly! Link is below!

I've been thinking about this too, just for like 3 of my 6 or 7 meals, until the wife gets home and can cook for the rest of the night lol. As much as rich piana is a fucktard he just started this type of service. Haven't looked into the details other then the price, 7.50 a meal and it takes a week from when you order I believe. Idk if I can justify paying that, 12oz of tilapia 2 cups of rice and a tbsp of peanut butter cost me like a dollar max. Tastes like shit but gets the job done.
after posting this I went ahead and did the rich piana mail meals....Looking at them i believe he is lying on how much protein is in them. When i signed up its for a recurring charge weekly. I did the 21 meal prep and it comes out to $175 a week. ill run it for a month and see what i think. certainly more than i wanted to spend. But damn itll be nice to get back on some kind of regime. working 10-14 hours a day and nothing is predictable my eating is all over the place. This last year has been the craziest of my life, going into business for myself has changed everything.
Oh man I know exactly what you're going through. I started my own business this year too, just in the last month have I got back into a routine of eating like I should be. The previous 8 months or so it was just work work work I didn't wanna stop even for lunch just wanted to get done and make that money. I've been prepping meals on sundays and Wednesday's and it's been working out pretty well. But I'd much rather do what you're doing and have it done for me. 175 isn't outrageous but it's not cheap either. At some point I'll have the extra funds to be able to do that. For now I'll suck it up and eat my chicken tilapia steak rice and potatoes every day. I wouldn't mind buying 10 meals a week, just to have 2 a day while I'm at work then I can cook when I get home. For 75 bucks or so I think I'd do that.
I'm a staunch capitalist brother Iron so I wish you the best with your business venture! I love to see small businesses open and thrive!
in a month ill have been in business for 3 years. every year gets worse until you got the money and the clientele to hire help. But then you're running around putting out fires!...Glad to hear you made the move, nothing more liberating than being your own boss, and nobody else to blame if shit goes bad! :)....On the piana site, minimum order is going to be the 21 meal prep and its recurring weekly. The site ophany posted below has a 10 meal minimum order and not recurring. meals look pretty damn good too...
iNarcissistI wish i did , ive been looking into these as well, genius idea whoever pioneered it. This should be a good thread i hope we get some good recommendations
Very coincidental that you posted this today brother! Earlier I was watching a recent Jay Cutler video and this is the food prep company he utilizes! So does Dallas McCarver and Justin Compton! The link is below, check it out! I don't use a food prep company so I can't assess pricing or quality! I just found it interesting that a few pros use them!
http://megafitmeals.com/
Thanks for sharing that man, those meals look better than any i've seen yet. Working third shift for is hard to meal prep but i manage. Gonna have to check into these, thanks again
You're more than welcome brother and I'm glad I could help! I worked nights for years and it definitely affects sleep, training and food prep! If you decide to order from them, please convey your experiences, we'd appreciate that! Be well my friend!
sure well bro and you're right 3rd has ways to mess with everything. i have 20 year retirement and i've been on 3rds for 15 yrs and still it used to it but tuffed it out. if i decide i will be glad to share my experience, they look fuckin delicious
Those meals look pretty Fkn good. maybe because im hungry! :)....Im gonna check these guys out, thanks for feedback....I just seen jay cutler says use mr olympia as promo code to get 10% off. but that video is 6 years old.
You are more than welcome brother and those meals do look tasty, great presentation!
Here's a link to the video I was speaking of which is was taped on Dec.6 He mentions the meal prep company pretty early on!
I don't think you can use a jay cutler promo code, the only ones I saw were for his supplementation line tbj10! You can contact the company to see if they have one!

I just placed an order with them for ten meals. so ill put them up against pianas meals
Well, good and I'm glad I was able to help! The best of luck with your business venture, I hope it affords you an early retirement! I worked in a family business for years so I'm well acquainted with the 70hr. work weeks!
Quick question, did you find the pricing to be about the same between the two companies? I'm going to keep an eye on this thread, please keep us in the loop as far as taste and quality are concerned! Thanks brother Roid Noid!
they are more on the site you put up. but they offer regular and large portions. I bought 10 meals, large portion for $153.90 shipped. piana I got 21 meals for $175 shipped.....
That's quite a significant difference! You recieve twice as many meals for $25 more, granted their larger meals but still! I guess it all boils down to food quality, taste and service! Thank you for accepting my FR!
