arimidex

ad

My doc of-course has prescribed arimidex with my TRT. He has me taking two pills a week which total of 2mg. That seems overkill to me. Never had giant gyno issues but my estradiol was high the last blood test but 2 mg seems like after a week or two I would hate my self. I mean when i used to be on cycle i would only do .5 every 3-4 days. What do you guys think? Plus I suggested to HMG to my doc for LH and FSH for possible fertility. He wasn't two familiar with it. Could anyone point me in the right direction to find some real HMG(just send me a PM)

Make sure you get blood work done! Blood work data is key, brother. Insist on it from your doc, or do it through a blood lab. (For me, it's been cheaper to go through an online lab instead of my doc, so PM if you'd like input on where to research those avenues.) However, the lads below have you in good hands to help guide your own learning.

Follow your docs orders first and foremost. He is the doc after all. Bloodwork will be following and he will adjust his protocol based upon that. Deviate from it and you are just going to be screwing things up when trying to dial everything in with him. It took me about 9 months and lots of different protocols until things got dialed in. Your specific TRT protocol isn't going to happen overnight so follow his suggestions so he knows exactly how to adjust things after bloodwork. Did you discuss with him that you may think it is a high dose? What did he say?

I have followed the protocol for the last two weeks and haven't noticed much difference. Shoulders, knees and elbows have been a little ache lately. I'm thinking about lowering it to 1mg a week and see how it goes. Of course I will discuss this with my doctor first.

Maybe if the Doc prescribed it to you then it is putting you in the normal range, Take a read here

Wow. For me since I started TRT and all the blood tests with my doc, on my normal TRT of 200 mg Test C per week, my estradiol is in normal range. He will not even prescribe an AI.

Musclepants1's picture

That's good isn't it? If you're in normal range you don't need an AI do you

greenlantrn2's picture

Yes, it is good. Less drugs you have to take.

Pwood2316's picture

He didn't explain much. He just said He didn't like being in high normal and would like to see closer to base normal.

That's a solid doctor right there. You won't find that often.

What is your TRT dose and pinning schedule? What was your e2 and what was the AI dosing.

1 cc every week 200mg for 5 weeks then one week off. Estradiol was at 36 don't remember the E2 but is within above high range. I'm going to cut the dosage in half possibly quarters. I was surprised when he told me that too. I got back for blood work in a month and will just do .5 a week and see if my estrogen is to low and if it is will just cut it out all together,

Respect your doc, bro!! If you make changes to his regimen, then you need to keep a log, but prior to all that, at least contact your doc and communicate with him regarding any changes.....be professional
