I have been wondering if my gear as a loud smell does that mean that it is potent? Is there a way to go by testing it myself?

Testrogen_PropC...Negative. You could have turpentine in a 10 ml vial and it would have a strong smell, but wouldn't make for some good gear. So that's no way to judge. But what I can say is some of the best gear I've used does have a pretty interesting smell. You can't judge potency off of that though, just off of feeling, results, and bloodwork.

If the "gear" (vial) has a strong smell to it....it could possibly be the solvent
Guaiacol is sometimes used in UGLs for high dosed gear...but the strong smell doesn't mean that there is more mg/mL than on the label (potency)
I keep testers at home for almost all types of gear. It tells me if it's real or not but it will not tell you the quality.

I know that the color doesn't mean anything ; that's just what oil they mix the compound with. A friend told me the only way to tell is to inject it.I'm about to search some threads on here now.
