Taurine protects your shrinking nuts?

I know it was done on rats with a relatively low dose but still an interesting read. I wonder if increasing the taurine dose would be beneficial to match an increased dose of deca?

Egyptian scientist does not inspire confidence to me. I think he had a tough time when he measured rats testis. Also, I noticed that pure taurine increase the testis weight, that's pretty interesting.
unreal89I take 10g for back pumps
Interesting read!
I would be afraid of how much taurine a human would have to ingest to try and replicate the results with rats. The amount of taurine I am taking right now sure isn't having any impact. Any more taurine and I would probably be sicker than a dog.
How much u running? The dose in the study equals about 1500mg for humans. I'll run anywhere from 3000-5000mg sometimes for back pumps.
I was running 1g preworkout and wasn't seeing much in the way of results for cramp relief. Bumped it up to 3g prewo and it made me sick. I then spread that 3g into divided doses throughout the day and still wasn't getting much relief but at least it wasn't making me sick anymore. Once I hit about 4.5g/d divided the cramps got better and I wasn't sick like if I took it all at once. As far as my nuts go.....what nuts...
Lol oh well, who needs nuts anyways
RustyhookerWow! I got 1g pre workout and cramps and back pumps gone. So crazy how each of us reacts different
Yeah it seems it either works for people or it doesn't, I usually have to get up to the 5g mark to relieve the back pumps
Lucky duck. I have pretty much given up on it now. To big of a hassle. I only get cramps from certain orals so if I am going to take them I just have to live with that there are a few exercises I won't be able to do because I just cramp up to much during those exercises with those orals.
I'm like you. I've gone to 10g of taurine and it did nothing for my cramps - which I also only get from certain orals. So I don't bother anymore wirh taurine but I do watch my sodium intake closely which can be low at times. Adding pink Himalayan salt through the day to my meals made a huge difference. I'm sure any rich sodium source would do the same. Interestingly I have lower blood pressure on cycle (including orals) than I do when I am off so I am not concerned about the sodium impacting my BP.
x2 on the pink himalayan salt, it's actually very good for you as compared to regular salt. I don't take in a lot of extra sodium but that pink salt does make a difference
I sweat so much that I think I benefit from a higher sodium diet. Best thing I can seem to do to battle cramps now is to stay well hydrated. I like to drink coconut water now. The additional electrolytes from it seem to help the cramping somewhat.
Coconut water with pedialyte is awesome, add some flavored EAAs and it's a great intra workout drink
