As new reports come out, seems he's had a pill addiction for many years now, and possibly the pain pills he took for his hip mixed with opiates caused the OD. Pills seem harmless, but I've seen them first hand take hold and never let go. Sad.
Regardless how he died, whether it was pills, AIDS, or just a heart attack, it doesn't matter really. He was a great artists and by all accounts a good person. He will always have my respect.
I think he had Aids or something. They said The Purple Majesty had flu like symptoms and had to land the plane in an emergency. Don't sound like drugs to me as they say. He had all the bad estate bitches. I hope my hunch is wrong. He was a pioneer either way.

That's weird because it has been a big rumor for over 20 years now. No one dies of AIDS it just weakens your immune system so that anything can kill you. The only people who die of the flu are people with weak immune systems like babies, the really old, or people with AIDS. If it was the flu that killed him then he most likely had AIDS but if I was him I would make sure no one new and keep my autopsy private. It's possible we will never know the truth if that's what he wanted. He was a great talent and it's sucks he is gone.

Isaac Asimov got AIDS from a blood transfusion. The only reason people found out was because his widow told someone 10 years after he died. If not no one would have ever known, you can keep that stuff a secret. He was a really great author.

Yea it hit about 2 hours ago. But no word on what he died from yet. That info won't be let out for some time. They found him in his recording studio Thursday dead. They said he just performed Saturday but was in the hospital last week to.
What im seeing its more likely that he died from the flu. Im not hearing anything about drug use. Tmz has a track record of being right about things like this but we will see they are doing the autopsy today so if they don't release the results then we will know it might have been drugs.

Wonder what the cause of death was. 90% of the time it has to do with drugs or alcohol or both... hopefully it is different for prince.

Upon searching I see several gossip sites speculating AIDS. Again, I would think that would have come out at the first autopsy if it were true.
