1st time cutting meal plan please help!
ad
I have read a number of posts with regards to a cutting diet. Pretty much all of the diet plans suggest at least 5-6 meals a day. I personally do not prefer this approach simply because I like the feeling of fullness and eating small meals would not help my cravings at all. Therefore, is it possible if I just consume all my calories in one meal or will that end up burning more of my muscle instead?

Seems like eating all your protein in one meal would be wasting it. Your body can only work with so much at a time then you would literally flush the rest. I'm on a 1900 cal a day diet and I eat 6 meals.
Careful eating to much fish.I would cycle fish one day than turkey the next day than fish the next day than chicken..it keeps the body working and not getting used to 1 protein source...this works for me
Yes, it's possible. The warrior diet (20/4) and Intermittent fasting(16/8) is based on a concept like this.
Whatever works for you man. What's "the best" diet worth, if you can't commit/stick with it? Exactly, nothing at all. People need to find what they feel most comfortable with, Ie. something you could theoretically follow 365days a year. So if people claim, that you need to eat X amounts of meals at certain times with only particular foods, that's just based on broscience.
That being said, I'd recommend not eating all your calories in one meal, I'm not saying it's not possible, but if you want to eat huge meals, a warrior diet/IF approach will fill you out as well.
Further, always throw in vegetables and salads. Not only because of it's minerals/vitamins but it will make you more satiated.
I for my part, eat about 2-3 meals when cutting and 3-5 when gaining. It works best for me, leaves me sane and most importantly, it's easy to stick too it because I'll gladly repeat myself, what's a diet worth if you always fall of the wagon every once in a while.
This mentality will not work. I have helped a lot with hard dieting and everyone who thinks this way has never done it, EVER. You have to be strong and be WILLING to endure this life style of dieting, if you can not handle the feeling of not being full, FORGET IT
The key to surviving a diet is to avoid hunger the best you can, hence multiple meals, the feeling of ''being full'' is a luxury that has no place when you want to get lean.
You're kidding right?
