+ 6 Why Cant I "FEEL" My Cycle
This is a very common question and often times its blamed on bunk gear. Reality as every vet on here knows is you can grow on underdosed gear. The problem with not "feeling" your cycle is in your head and on your table. Steroids simply boost recovery. That's all they do in a simple talk. So if you're recovering at an accelerated rate, doesn't is just blast full view into your thinking that FOOD must also be there at an accelerated rate? You wanna be a Porsche but your cruising a pinto on the food bracket. You don't FEEL the gear, so now how do you correct this? Up them complex carbs!! Yams, granola, 12 grain bread, brown rice etc. If you even think your diet is ontrack, just try this; 2cups cooked oats, yogurt, 50 gms whey and juice in a blender 2 hours before the gym. If you get there and literally grab heavier weights and get so damn pumped you feel like king kong, your diet sucks!! Those muscles are literally starving for constant nutrition. By time the brain sends hunger signals you're already in a starvation mode by at LEAST 4 hours. Food is now and always will be the king on muscle growth. The faster YOU figure out your body, the faster and better you will be at growing on or off cycle. Many of us on cutter cycles or completed cutter cycles can attest to NOT feeling their cycles. We are carb depleted. No carbs...no pumps of insanity. Are we still growing? Pictures tell the story...YES. Modifying food for your goal is the key to success. Which is why its very clear that on TEST ONLY you can cut, bulk, recover, run faster, and feel great!!! Food controls this. IF your goal is lean mass....that translates to eating big and healthy but cut out the garbage. No beer, pastas, fast foods, and candy. Supplement those calories with more veggies and complex carbs. Weight lifting burns ONLY carbs. Common fact. So weight lift your butt off, get the pumps, and burn them carbs.....THEN hit low impact cardio to burn off the fat stores. As we know cardio burns fat IF the body is primed. Meaning that our body would rather burn sugars. But I'm off track now in a way. Hopefully, someone reads this and can understand why their pumps and gains are off. Feeling the gear working is done with food and recovery and focus on the weight stack. Know your goals and eat to attain them. http://www.eroids.com/forum/training-nutrition-diet/weight-gain/hardgain...

My last time here i ripped someone off??? What in the hell are are you talking about? Have you been drinking?
RustyhookerNope. But youre back and following me. You missed me? Awww
So you're a karma bully. I got it now. At least be consistent and down vote everything I've posted just because you can.
Show everyone how good you are at chasing away members.
Reading the title, I first thought this needed to be in the Ladies Lounge
RustyhookerLol!
At the time everyone was in the cutter ebc. Feeling lethargic and no pumps.
AnonNotice that acct active?
RustyhookerYessir. Bfg last post. He opened it back up. I need to copy n paste my forums into my current spot. Less searching. Lol
Great read! Very helpful in keeping food at the forefront of this journey. The more you read the more a certain goal becomes real inside and out. Understanding thoroughly what is being accomplished and becoming the words read over and over....
RustyhookerThose carbs are the pump builders. Cutting is really a chore but your base is massive. As you start seeing all the cuts coming through you'll be mentally energized.
It will be awesome once the hard work starts showing. Positive and excited to see physical change! For sure will boost the mental...thank you brother
Its now Jan/Feb (2013). Usually I over diet by the end of the year..I work out 10-11 months straight..no breaks..no down days..( 2-3 arobics - 1 day lift.). ..every other day sometimes as well.
but i workout at least 6-7 days a week.)..So by the end of the year.. im toast.. Ive done this two years in a row and i just started to notice it this year. I WAY depleted .. so ive slowed down for the past two-three weeks and started to listen again to my body.. I found Lee's diet interesting.. comments welcome-
Lee Priest's "Big as a House..Grazing Diet"
I met Lee at a recent show in VA and picked up his Twinlab CD Rom about his training/nutrition, etc. In it, he outlines his off season diet, called "Big as a Cow, the Grazing Diet", where he just eats the following foods all day long, without counting calories or macros. He knows he gets enough of everything from the diet without counting so he just goes on autopilot. Trust me, the name of the diet is very appropriate, Lee can attest. Even all covered up at this show, he looked as big as a house...he said he was weighing 265 at 5'4"! Here's the diet...
Chicken Nuggets
Fried Chicken
Chocolates
Ice Cream Sandwiches
Steak & Rice
Macaroni & Cheese
Chicken Strips
Protein Shakes
Whole Milk
Candy
Cheeseburgers
Whole Eggs & Egg Whites
Bread, Biscuits & Rolls
Grits or Cream of Wheat
Asparagus & Broccoli
MRP shakes w/ Ice Cream
French Fries
Pancakes
Oatmeal
scootertrampMy trainer changed my routine a few years ago and the gains have been explosive. Three on, one off, and repeat. No rest on weekends if it an on day.
3 and 1 off works.. not sure why.. but its what my body tells me. Dorian did something like that..
but it was a split routine. ( every body part 2x a week.)..The down time and letting your body
glycogen's replenish.
scootertrampYessir!! It takes a bit to get used to working out on weekends for many but the kids are sleeping so i try to sneak out early. Haha!
CleyonGood stuff! Thanks for taking the time to write it.
Great post Bro! +1

phil113kgGreat post my friend. Sometimes I think that some don't want to put the time and effort into eating and some think that taking AAS is a short cut to the gains they think they can get. But the work really starts from the moment they take that first pin. It doesn't get any easier but harder. This sport is very expensive and time consuming! Food is "the" number one AAS!
Completely agree!! When i was younger and hardcore natty bodybuilder i added 18lbs solid and got sponsored by only food. I workout too hard plys semipro soccor. Problem is i wasn't matching calories IN to cals spent. Parillo/poloquin principle and jacked cals up to 8k.....i flat blew up and leaned out. Im definitly not a geneticly gifted person but if I could do it.....anyone can. Its all bout discipline and longevity.......
Well said!!
Thank you sir!
What? I thought everybody in the EBC just ate cake? LOL ;-P
You can't get far in a car with no gas!
Tren and cheeseburgers! Definitly keeping good foods is top priority! Last ebc i was getting weary so my huge buddy says "add in lean red meat and let me know in a week!" The added red meat turbocharged me.
nice post. im currently dieting so i know what your saying about not having the on feeling.
Lifting with no pump. But then on carb load day.....boom! Amazing how manipulating diet changes mood, energy, etc
dbl post
With those oats, trying blending them with the whey etc, you'll end up with a thicker milkshake. Might go down a bit better when you're struggling.
Pre workout mix with medium warm Coffee for power mocha ;)
since were on the topic of complex carbs... earlier this week, i was eating my quick oats and whey like i normally do, and i was getting full. the texture of it is pretty gross too. i tried to hold it down but i couldnt. i puked it in the sink! lol. this happens sometimes where the texture of the oats just doesnt agree with me.. can you give me some other quick, cheap, and easy carb ideas to add to my diet?
the main carbs in my diet right now are oats, hplc bread, fruit and yogart.
Yams are really easy. Peel and steam in microwave. Just a few sluces go a long way. Been making home made granola with honey. Unsugared wheat chex. Orowheat 7 grain bread n peanutbutter.
Cook the oats before blender changes the gag factor nicely. Then its not lumpy sand. I add 1cup water and 1cup Coffee to thin and add zing.
Online diabetic website : low glycemic carbs. Lists carbs by lowest glycemic to highest. Great lust because insulin dependant folks need slow burn/complex carbs. Less spikes in sugars
LionKingGood ;)
Thanks bro!
Food
You mean if I run a cycle and sit on the couch and eat nachos and mtn Dew I would get ripped? dam
Haha!! I do remember my first cycle. Long ago when the roid rage stories really hit headlines. I was worried because back then was a wild life ;). Thought I'd feel aggro and literally be huge immediatly. Reality...i put on 18 lbs and kept 15. Felt happy daily and less aggro. But the prior 12yrs of lifting and food trials helped a lot. Now as my metabolusm slowed i find myself reworking foods to find my new pinacles.
No beer, pastas, fast foods, and candy......man, screw this lifestyle!
Lmao! If the output can burn the input then you're golden!
Nice post, its been said before, but I like how you state it. Its not offensive, just to the point. Maybe a sticky?
It can be hard sometime to relay the message without being edgy/offensive. Just have to re-adjust our goals and foods sometimes
lovin this man....completely true. started cutting my carbs back and you can just tell you feel tired but im sure as hell still makin gains
Yup! Shirts will get tighter and the pics will show the rock! Keep pushin!
