Does Meloxicam (Mobic) inhibit muscle growth?

I have seen conflicting information about NSAIDS inhibiting muscle growth. I take 10mg per day for chronic back pain. What are your thoughts?

Long term use of NSIADs is not ideal. There is better pain killers available. With less sides.
The cardiovascular (CV) and gastrointestinal (GI) risks associated with NSAIDs have been widely reported; renal risk has not received as much attention in the lay press, but must be considered. Long term use of OTC pain releavers is not good...
