First I just want to say thank you to the community for aiding me in my goals within the gym, my supplementation, and my nutrition. I`d like to start out by saying that Im really in the best shape of my life being 40 and I feel great but I need to do a bit more cardio so that Im overall better within my conditioning as cardio is good for the soul, so Ill start doing 45 min of cardio in the morning alongside some barbell complexes and calf raises. Im really not needing the cardio but I need to run and get my lungs aired out. Last weekend I was at a family gatering celebrating the 4th and OMG everyone was so in awe of my physique, I know next time not to wear a compression shirt. I heard "OMG you have no waist, you look good boy, what are you doing to stay so vibrant and young, plus I noticed some of the older folks shaking their heads like damn that boy looks good". Anyway, I didnt like the attention and Ill make sure to wear a sweatsuit size XXL so noone knows what Im carrying plus it will make me look skinny as heck.

IVE been trying some different routines to keep challenging myself and my muscles and I find that this routine I thought to do consisting of 12 and 5 reps to be extremely rewarding to say the least. No matter the exercise first set do 12 next set 5 thats it but keep going up with the weight and absolutely stay with your means, but that last set of 12 and 5 is no joke and thats for damn sure.

Im eating anything and everything that I can get my hands on on the regular and im not gaining fat. Breakfast might be 3 eggs and toast then Im going on to leftovers, cornbread, beans and rice, baked chicken, fried chicken, protein shakes, tuna sandwiches, potatoes, rice etc, I dont count I just eat. Ive noticed that the more meat I consume the more energy I have in the gym. Man have you noticed how cheap chicken drumsticks have been lately, there was a sale here an I was able to get like 10lbs for $3.50 good god I jumped all over that and was eating chicken for days but unfortunately I just ran out. One of my favorite snacks to make is this Okra soup which consists of fresh crushed tomatoes, fresh corn, tomato paste, green beans, and chopped italian beef in it, I tell you its the best ever and tastes delicious. I always say that it aint nutritious unless its delicious. But guys Im not trying to become a bodybuilder or nor am I interested in competing on stage, Im just trying to be the best that I can and I see myself being 45 being able to bench 500, squat 700, and deadlift 600, those goals are my daily motivation. I have truly minimal bodyfat, Im squatting 500lbs 10 times, leg pressing 1400 plus and Im loving life.

More than anything I love a good piece of fried chicken, lasagna, shrimp scampi, chinese food, hamburger, bratwurst, egg sandwich, tuna sandwich, pizza, gyro, chocolate milk, taco, etc but nothing beats knowing that Im making progress in the gym, Im getting stronger, Im not burning out and Im not afraid to just take a week off from the gym and watch some good movies with the family.

The moral of this story I guess is find out what motivates you, and remember noone can stop what they cant see "meaning your drive to be the best you"

YES sir, I like to start lifting with some Rage Against The Machine How I Could Just Kill A Man, that bass is contagious plus getting in unison with that snare drum while repping is a marvelous feeling, Follow that up with some Machine Gun by Jimi Hendrix and you cant be stopped. Thanks for stopping by, I love sharing what works as I have nothing to lose and others to help. #IKNOWICAN #IBELIEVEICAN. Im rooting for your successes!
