Hair loss.

ad

Just a little help for those that worry about their hair and maybe even their prostate.
Everybody knows about Propecia the hair loss drug. Its expensive about $100 a month) and not covered by insurance.
Some know about Proscar the drug for BHP (Benign prostatic hyperplasia) covered by insurance.
Both are different doses of Finasteride a DHT blocker.
Finasteride worked great for me. Old friends of mine were amazed at how my hair went back to the 1990's But it started messing with my dick and my ol lady was none too pleased so I dropped it. It also took ABOUT 2 MONTHS FOR THINGS TO GET BACK ON TRACK IN THE BEDROOM.
DHT (surprise!) causes BPH and Male pattern baldness. But is also sorta also makes you a "man". let it be noted that blocking DHT can cause harmful sexual side effects that may even be permanent ! Even if your on gear. DHT also works in the brain and could be considered a neurotransmitter of sorts that effects sexual desire. Most people have no sexual side effects at all according to the manufacturer.
BUT if you wanna give it a try like I did. This will save you tons of money!
Simply tell your MD that you would like to try Propecia but its crazy expensive, Also mention that Proscar is very cheap and is covered by your insurance only costing maybe $20. Tell him you have looked into it and are willing to cut each 5rmg Proscar pill into 5ths with a pill cutter. each 1 month prescription of Proscar turns into 5 months of 1mg Propecia! that cost about $100 a month.
My Dr was like wow that's smart! Sure Ill do it!
I'm sure there are a lot of friendly Drs out there that are willing to do this for their patients. Drs and nurses are always trying to find ways for their patients to afford the medications they need/want.

Hope this helps a few of you.
