Well after I puke or complain about wanting to puke I lay around for an hour or so to let my stomach settle, then I can pretty much eat what I want. Sometimes I'm able to get a shake down immediately after, but most of the time I'm too sick for even that.
normally i have 10-15g bcaa/eaa with 60g of HBCD intra. post shake 40-60g protein. Then like some others depends how my stomach feels but sometimes i can just have a protein bar 30-60 mins after other times a larger meal. in the end i try to eat a few hundred extra cals min that day.
When I'm bulking I go to Bob Evans every leg day post workout and get a farm favorite egg white oomelette, 4 multi grain pancakes, oatmeal and 2 turkey sausage and a chocolate milk
be careful with that Jinto, I pulled my girl in the shower last leg day workout, actually she pulled me in first but I took dominant, as we are especially after a leg workout, long story short I passed out, dehydrated and it was embarrassing lol... I was most upset I didn't complete the job lol...
Well brother Vike, and Jinto beat me to the punch line, seriously tho, immediately after a protein shake, need about an hr to a hr and a half before I can think about putting solid food in my gut. I used to have a shake immediately following every training session, however I've changed this up a few months ago and replaced every shake except leg day with a solid meal right after training and I'm looking a little better. Little lean tissue growth and harder. This anabolic window following a hard training session is wide open and demands the best nutrients. As I'm leaving the gym I'll eat some fresh fruit to get that insulin reaction and within 15 to 30 min I'm eating a solid meal. Forward progression!
Im usually sick for a few hrs after legs too. I don't eat shit. I sleep it off.
I feel your pain usually I'll do some egg whites and broccoli but a while back GEARHEAD suggested eating sushi ginger in a thread. What you do is bring some in a small tupperware to the gym on leg day (keep it chilled if possible ) and when you start getting that queezy feeling eat a litter of it.
I have been doing this from time to time and it helps tremendously. Especially if you would like to get a good meal in afterwards and sometimes I find if I eat a small cup of oat meal before legs that helps for me as well.
sooo I ve been avoiding this just because of the title.. and I got what I expected without even having to scroll down the page at all (thank you Jinto) ...
My post workout meal is, 8 ounces of top sirloin steak and one to a half cup of jasmine rice. Depending on my carb days
Lol....U eat at the Y
Done legs this morning. Whey straight afterwards, then a big fat steak with sweet potato and spinach 40 mins later. Since then I've had some chicken and wholemeal pasta mid morning, just eating stir fried pork with brown rice and broccoli for lunch now.
Just got done beating my legs like they owe me money. Egg white, whey and BCAA protein shake and will follow with grilled pork chops and vegetables for dinner.
Thighs.
I usually load up real good before the workout. . and I add a extra 35 gram shake ..ususually I drink that during work out up to the point of ,when I start to feel like I got to puke. And after I'm not to concerned about solid foods because its not happening. So I pound high protein. Light. Like Greek yogurt and cottage cheese . when I quit shaking and the upchuck feeling goes. Something like scrambled eggs and steak. Also I'm back to working out at 5 am
Protein shk - going home - scrambled eggs.
ill have ten grams of bcaas before and ten grams straight after, ill have a whey protein shake with milk on the drive home, then its usually steak, broccoli, mashed potato with a bit of gravy. (bulker)
I feel the same way after legs, just gotta suck it up eat though brotha. I eat white rice and beef pus a glass of milk.
AnonBeef pus sounds pretty fuckin gross bro ;-)
AnonLol
Beef plus, not beef pus lol,
4 small children, a family of goats, and two or 3 unripe avocados.
In all seriousness; I eat whatever I'm hungry for, provided it fits my diet plan. I've never had any sort of weak stomach issues.
Well personally... i always find a pussy at the top of the legs, so i usually eat that!!.......... twice ;/
AnonDing ding ding
Winner!! Exactly what I was thinking when I read the title lol
StevebYou can also eat the hole on the other side
AnonYea... As long as they ain't took a shit recently
You're missing out on all the great flavor bro...
AnonHahahahah
Don't forget the smell too
It's called "aroma."
AnonWho likes the taste of dirty pennies?
Lmfao!!!
Lmao I just was goin to post something like this but u beat me to it
HAHAHa holy shit!
LMFAO!!! +++++
Lately I've gone to a metrx big 100 bar and a quart of milk immediately after. That gets me about 65 grams of protein, a few carbs and a healthy dose of vitamins. Then I'm ready for food about 60-90 minutes later.
Like most the rest, after hard leg sessions I choke down a shake (milk, protein, PB). An hour later Ill usually have a big meal. Steak, chicken, hamburger, some type of red meat usually accompanied with whatever sides sound good.
In the offseason, i hit the Brazilian steakhouse and ask them to only come around with steak, chicken, and pineapple.
In season a shake right after, then my second most calorie meal besides breakfast.
I guess I'm the opposite cause I can eat the side of a cow's ass after working legs.
Take like ten minutes and sit down after legs and sip on some lemon water if you feel dizzy and nauseous.
AnonFunny you mention this, I trained legs today and had a chipotle steak burrito after
Love chipotle! Can never set the burrito down in fear itll fall apart, so I usuall wolf it down pretty quick.
Usually a ribeye or new york strip and sweet potato.
I eat a lot of tilapia. It's pretty mild on the gut. Yeah, it's a trash fish but it's protien baby!
And cheap
Wel this post was misleading! Like DP and Rusty (no homo) I also have basic foods, usually a protein shake (ice cream included). I also wait a bit before the next solid meal.
Eggs. Lots of eggs
Try eating some pickled sushi ginger like you get at a Japanese restaurant. It will straighten out your stomach.
AnonIm pretty sure I could live on sushi and sashimi, that pickled ginger is on point too.
Now that sounds interesting! I love ginger too!
Curious... Might just try this out. Does it work in general as well?
AnonSushi is my favorite bulking food, its got everything you need!
Just don't try the gas station sushi!
AnonLmao that commercial was funny as hell.
