GW-1516 to "kick start" Keto Diet
Hey guys, I have been doing some research on GW-1516 and it seems like it could be very beneficial to someone trying to cut fat and spare muscle tissue. I have read alot about how GW-1516 will help develop more slow twitch muscle fibers and shift the body's metabolism to burn fat for fuel rather than sugars and/or muscle. Switching the metabolism to burn fats for fuel as opposed to sugars or muscle is essentially the same goal of a keto diet which got me thinking about using the two together. Specifically, starting GW-1516 a week or two before starting a keto diet to go ahead and get your metabolism functioning in that manner- kind of like using test prop to kick start a test e cycle.
Not something I am seriously considering doing right now as a full on keto diet has proven ineffective for me overall. I generally lose a good bit of fat but the catabolic effects outweigh the benefits room me. My sweet spot is a low carb diet around 100g/day with none after 2:00 PM. Anything less and I start losing strength and muscle at a fast rate.
Anyway, just food for thought and wanted to get your thoughts

Also I see no reason to start with a lower dosage. There are virtually zero side effects and 20mg has been shown to be the most effective dose I believe.
I didn't have any sides at 20 mg but it is still a costly product and not everyone can afford to run it that high. That is why I think it's best to start lower, see if you can attain the results you are after and then increase the dose as needed
Personally I wouldn't kick start with it, I would use it on your diet. It'll have that much more effect if it's good GW. It increases glucose uptake in skeletal muscle as well so it will help make your meals more efficient.
Do you guys have a good dosage recommendation for GW
I am a triathlete who has been out of the sport for three years and trying to kick start my training again and this looks to be a good way to trim down as I start my training cycles.
I've been looking into it but need to think about dosage
I would start with 10 my split 5 in the morning and 5 in the evening. If you hit a plateau or the results just are not satisfactory bump it to 20. Always best to start low though and work your way up.
GW is good for fat burning and boosting cardio. Got some on the way now to add to my comp prep for those purposes. S4-Andarine is probably even a better fat burner than GW, if you can handle the yellow vision sides.
I'm going to have to look into the S4, thanks for the insight. I think I could live with yellow vision for a little while. Hell it might even help me forget how pale and Irish blooded I am until the MT II I'm about to start pinning hits :-P
I'm stacking both s4 and GW.
Hey I've heard this is a great combo. I really want to try this, especially towards the end of my current cycle or possibly even as a "bridge". I just wanted to hear some personal experience first. I sent a FR for a quick question I had about that. Thanks bro
GW-1516 is a great product more so for endurance than burning fat and it does work better on a keto or paleo diet, I may have burn more fat but it was probably due to higher endurance on low carbs. It's not going to make that big of difference if you kick start or not. What works best so you do get to catabolic is a keto diet and once a week you give yourself an 8 hr window to carb load each week. Also GW will really boost your HIIT routines and that's where you burn the most fat and spare muscle.
Thanks for the insight man. I've seen so many mixed reviews is hard to hone in on- some say is great for fat burning but not so much endurance, others say it's excellent for endurance but not so much fat burning and others say it didn't do anything. I think that is mainly because there is a lot of bunk product out there and everyone reacts differently to different compounds
Jay-DawgHey Man. I'm very interested in starting a kickstart program with GW1516. I was curious if you have an update for us(?) My main interest in the product is endurance but I'm also interested in its fat burning ability. I'm also curious about finding a legitimate source. It sounds like some people on here have ended up with some bad product.
Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance!
