Subcutaneous injection?

ad

I wasn't sure whether to ask this question here, or in the "Accessories" forum.

Title is the question, pretty much. I'll be taking over my own injections soon, and while I can (and will, if necessary) shoot myself IM, I'd prefer to go the subcutaneous route, personally. I've done as much reading as I can stand on the subject and wanted opinions from someone who's done it. From what I've read, in some ways it's better than intramuscular, without any noticeable drawbacks and would like to know if anybody has experience with using this injection method, and with what compounds.

Thanks in advance.

I participated in Noid's experiment with injecting Tren sub q to see if it would reduce some of Tren's unpleasant side effects. The oil left painful welts at the injection sites in my case and I would not recommend this as a means to administer HRT test.

I think I remember seeing a video with a trt doctor who actually advertises doing subq injections for trt. I"m not supporting or putting it down, I have no experience with it.

What I do have experience with is getting a full cc of oil in between muscles which gets into the subq tissue and it fucking sucks.

I'd be curious about more often, very small injections tho. I mean if you're only doing 100mg a week then I suppose you could do .3ml eod. I'M NOT recommending this, just thinking through the keyboard.

Goals are to....well, normalize, get back my energy, strength, my general "give-a-shit-about-life" again. After that, well, I kind of like the idea of being in the same shape I was in my 20's and 30's and might go further, but not worrying about that right now.

Not worried about going intramuscular, just didn't want a constantly sore ass. The injections I've gotten these last couple of months gave me a tender spot for a few days, not really painful, just noticeable, and since I'm planning on going with smaller and more frequent injections (2 per week), I was trying to find a way around having that constant tender spot on my ass, is all. I'm not even sure it will bother me the same, since it'll be noticeably less in each injection, I might not be tender at all, I'm just covering my bases, and having read some favorable experiences with it I thought it might be a viable option.

At this point, I'll probably go intramuscular first and see if it bothers me at all, stick with it if not, try out sub-q if it does. Either way, won't be a big deal.

Been browsing the entire forum, eNORmous amount of info here, still trying to take it all in and just haven't gotten to the pip section yet. Glanced through it looking for something on sub-q, but didn't find anything, so posted this topic. Feel kinda silly now, for not seeing the search button.

My hat is off to you Noid for that experiment, I know how much PIP and swelling I usually get IM with tren ace, I don't want to find out how sub q tren feels, not at all.

Any chance you could point me to it? I guess I'm not as smart as I pretend to be, can't seem to find any search feature here on this forum.

MikePhillips's picture

THanks Smile And seriously, I still don't see a search function. Maybe there's a minimum post number you need before it's available? Or maybe I'm just overthinking it....(that's what I like to say when I'm feeling really stupid).

Don't do it. If you are planning on cycling juice then get used to needles or else don't even bother starting.

No drawbacks? Depends on whether you consider pain a drawback...many users who use subq use tiny amounts in slin pins sometimes in multiple locations...avoid short esters and painful compounds like bold ace...

You prefer it? If you haven't done it how do you prefer it?

What are your stats and any priors....what does taking over my injections mean is someone else doing it for you now? Are you trt or get?

MikePhillips's picture

Yes, been on TRT for a couple of months, wasn't satisfied with the doctor and will be having bloodwork done and self-medicating accordingly. I've been getting a shot every other week, and while I feel a bit better, I don't feel anything close to normal. The doctor I was seeing wouldn't release the bloodwork to me (said it belonged to the TRT clinic), so I'll be getting my own done and handling the dosage myself.

juiceball8082's picture

Fuck that doc! One cc every other week is why your not getting better! You need weekly injections! Also you have every right to have copies of your bloods. He must be some cash only fuck!

MikePhillips's picture

I signed on with a TRT clinic, set monthly fee and they pay the doctor, which is the excuse he gave me for not allowing me access to the blood test results. Not a big issue, I should've done this myself in the first place.

Also I don't recommend using your real name on here and please finish filling out your stats and tell us what the cycle will be, as well as your goals, also on this one tell us the compounds and how many mg/ml they are this is very pertainant IMHO for subq ie you don't want to pin a test 600 sub q

MikePhillips's picture

Why is that? I don't doubt your word at all, as I'm sure have vastly more experience with steroids than myself, just that in my own experience (11 years military), being deployed everywhere in the world repeatedly and always receiving what seemed like a couple dozen preventative immunizations before deployment, the intramuscular shots tended to be more troublesome than those given just under the skin, when they were noticeable at all. Needles don't bother me, but I just wonder how much it might bother me if I'm poking myself in the ass twice a week with a syringe full of oil....how much soreness I'm going to end up with.

(And no, it's not my real full name, I read the rules and have observed them to the best of my ability).

Look, your vaccines weren't oils. We are doing you a favor by telling you subq is a stupid idea. But you sound like the type of guy that likes to find out for himself, so go for it. Then come back and tell us your findings.

Another thing, there are other places to pin besides the flutes..

IrishMack's picture

The flutes? is that some new muscle group I have not heard of yet? Blum 3

Pale's picture

LOL, yea, the skin flute. That's where all the cool kids are pinning these days!

IrishMack's picture

I certainly do not want to be cool then lol

MikePhillips's picture

Some vaccines were thicker (and bigger) than others I suppose, but when you're a kid you don't really pay much attention to that stuff. And yeah, I do kind of like finding things out for myself, but I tend to do plenty of research before pulling the trigger, which is why I'm asking here, amongst people who have the experience with the stuff that I don't. Also, I think maybe you've got the idea that I'm convinced sub-q is the way to go....I'm not, otherwise I wouldn't be asking you guys.

MikePhillips's picture

Not so concerned about the pain, as having a constantly sore behind interfere with my daily life. I'll be using the same stuff, twice a week instead of every other week (I wanted to keep my levels as steady as possible), and probably increasing the dosage from what I was getting before. Needles don't bother me in the slightest, and I don't mind a sore spot, just don't want one constantly, if it can be helped. The injections I've had to date only bothered me for a few days, but they were every other week. If I'm going twice a week.....well, like you say, I'll get used to it if I need to. Would it be better to pick another spot? Thigh, maybe?
