Vitigilio treatment options?

My gf has a minor case of vitiligo around her inner thigh that she wants gone. A doc just mentioned to her that there are topical anabolic steroids that treat this condition and return the skin to normal pigmentation? Anyone here with experience? Name?

Your Dr did not say anabolic steroids, if he did he's a numb nut and you should run as fast as you can away from that practice. What he likely said was topical CORTICOSTEROIDS like hydrocortisone, betamethasone, etc... With that said you can try those meds, but Vitiligo is often difficult to treat and your GF should see a good Dermatologist to help her.
