Jealous of the blast and cruise

ad

Im 32 years old and have numerous cycles under my belt and bouncing back after one can be tough. Im a little envious of the guys that are able to cruise and keep a lot of their gains after blasting. I feel like they don't have to worry about low test for a while and go straight back to normal after a cycle. It seems the gains are more easily kept. Don't get me wrong this last post cycle has been a breeze compared to others I've had but there is still a part of me that wishes i could cruise until my next blast. I think and hope that i have another 7 years before i need to that. How many of you guys do the blast and cruise and when did you know it was time to make the switch?

your 23, you have no business even commenting on this thread! you havent even lived a life yet!

understandable. im not gonna tell you either way is better, basically it comes down to your goals. just like building a cycle but much much longer and with everything unforseen.

I think there is one very serious question I would have asked myself going back to that decision. And that is have I taken months or years off in my life when things happened? not, well yeah because so and so died, or i lost my job or whatever. just plain and simple, do I know if i will train no matter what.

my answer is yes I have taken time off, no I dont think I will train no matter what, and yes i regret going TRT

Truth^^ There are so many variables in life and blind curves we don't know the endings of it is irresponsible and presumptuous of your future. This is particularly true for you young guys.

My life advice to you young dudes is try and stay as untethered and nimble as you can, life is full of traps...

Are you fcking kidding me? This is like saying I envy somone in prison because they get free meals and housing. Grass ain't greener at all on that side homie. Be happy with what you have now, because once that shit is gone, you will be a life time pin cushion. Poking your self in the ass, unless your monster 6 6 6, gets old fast!

propkick2's picture

If you look at the best physiques on here I would bet that they are on trt or cruise. Im not jealous of the fact they pin themselves for the rest of their lives.Im jealous of the body they can achieve while doing it that way.

Like I said below, there is a big difference between TRT and blast n cruise. TRT is simply keeping someone's levels where they should be naturally. Blast n cruise is essentialy a never ending cycle with periods of lower doses and higher doses. Ive never heard of anyone cruising on less than 250mg/wk and that dose for the vast majority will have your levels much higher than normal.

Youve taught me something then. I was under the impression that after a cycle was done the trt dose was a cruise. I knew some had more compounds and/or higher doses of test, but I thought the time between cycles while on synthetic test was called a cruise

WINNING's picture

It's always great from the outside looking in. Your going to do whatever the hell you want to anyway right? Do yourself a favor and cycle off and give yourself some credit, this is pretty impressive...

Thanks bro. Im not on a cycle now, starting week 5 of pct actually, feeling pretty good. I guess I came across wrong, going on trt was not something I was considering.

My friend there is such thing as quality of life. The greatest physique is not going to bring this. Having to pin every week or twice a week I think would definatly lower your quality. You are 32. How old do you think you'll live 70,80 maybe 90. Imagine having to stick a needle in yur ass for the next 50 years to feel normal. That's a lot of needles. If you actually have a medical condition that's another story one that should be directed under the direct supervision of a doctor. My last test came back at 370. That was before my first cycle. I'm currently doing pct. Getting bloods done 6 weeks after that. I will see where I'm at after that but I hope I'm not headed to trt. Sorry to rant. But hopefully you will consider this when you make your decision

propkick2's picture

Im not making any decision bro. I agree with what you say about quality of life

rolltide3's picture

I'm sure that gets old to him to. Now if someone else was poking him in the ass he would be in heaven

Lol

Trt is no fun. Pinning all the time gets old fast and you don't feel like your on cycle when on the trt dose. I'm 56 and didn't even touch gear until my natty test dropped to intolerable level at 52. Careful what you wish for

Dont be jealous bro............ just DO IT if you really want, self-experience is the best learning tool imo.

ANGEL GABRIELLE or DEVIL MAY CARE!............. Take your pick!!!!

Thanks for all the input guys, its been eye opening and given me a new perspective.

Nothing to be jealous about bro. Truly. I did the self-prescribed blast and cruise bit cause I didn't know much about nor did I care to inform myself about proper PCT. That was 10 years ago. Today, I'm sterile and on TRT and there is no fix. I hardly think it was worth it. Sterile? You might think that you have not heard much about that and it won't happen to you. Most guys won't talk about it. I'm am willing to be open about it so you realize it can happen and does - from no PCT.

very good post gearhead.

Hopefully younger guys read this. I wasn't thinking about kids when we had our first, but after having them I couldn't imagine what it would be like without them. Yes a person can adopt, but there is no greater miracle or phenomenon than creating a child.

when you go back to trt doses you have to stay consistent with your diet and workouts because you will lose what you gained. Its not a magic "stay big forever" choice. I have to work and diet just as hard as if I was cycled. Or the fat finds its way back. Those who are on 300 or more a week are not trt, they are on permablast and it will destroy them eventually. I tried a 250 week cruise and it was not very smart so I dropped it back to my 150. Being a slave to a needle is no fun, I get sick and fkn tired of doing. I missed 2 weeks once when my insurance lapped and I was so depressed and felt like shit that i was contemplating death. That is your answer to the glamourous world of trt.

GRIMEY's picture

Don't be jealous that your body still naturally produces testosterone. If you go down the blast and cruise route there is a good chance that will no longer happen. Then, you sill be jealous of those who can PCT and restore their levels.

I can totally understand where you are coming from. PCT is difficult, it is hard on the mind and body but the trade off is the freedom to walk away if you choose. I too have noticed the guys that stay on seem to just keep akin gains, but having watched a lot of these dudes they are not dropping back to TRT dose and cruising. They blast, blast and then blast some more. That recipe will come back to bite them in the ass. In closing, as long as I can reboot back to healthy levels of Test I will continue to PCT.

vhman's picture

I can tell you that the grass is not greener on this side. Pinning for the rest of your life sucks. I've only done it for the past few years and I would trade a pct for this any day of the week.
You say you're jealous of those who can stay on and keep their gains and such, but those who are staying on more than a TRT dose are jeopardizing their health. TRT is just normal levels and should never be a mini cycle.
Try to enjoy what you have and make the best of it. Again, being on both sides, your side is where any TRT guy would like to be.

Doss's picture

your side is where any TRT guy would like to be.

Yes indeed. I'd much rather be able to recover and have a naturally, healthy axis than to have to pin once a week for the rest of my life.

Doss's picture

Keeping gains are nice but being slave to the pin isn't something to take lightly or envy bro. I found out I have low t at 27 yrs old. I'm 33. Outside of therapy, there's no alternative to healthy levels.

Being on trt is not the "cool" thing to do. Once you make that choice, it's a choice for life. You will no longer be using gear strictly for performance and physique enhancement. You'll HAVE to use it to feel normal.

rolltide3's picture

okay I'm not I like my body making its own testosterone. Why would u be jealous of someone that has to take a shot for life just to manage the same amount of test as we make naturally. There guys that abuse that and stay on mini cycles then blast. But I'll take my own natural test production as long as I can. Plus if u can't keep gains during pct and after then your not doin something right prolly the kitchen and training

propkick2's picture

Im jealous of their physiques bro. I feel like the guys that do cruise have an easier time keeping their gains and make more progress over a period of time. I like making my own test too!!! and I'm sure some guys cruise wish they could to. Im just wrapping up pct and i know for a few weeks there i was not myself.

GRIMEY's picture

Of course they have an easier time keeping their gains. Blast and Cruise is essentially being on cycle all the time. Its just going from a heavy cycle to a light cycle whilst switching compounds every so often. Most people that use this method cruise on no less than 250mg/wk and quite often low doses of other compounds. It is not a safe or healthy Approach. Blast and Cruise is NOT trt like a lot of people seem to mistake.

Back when I still did pct's, I was able to keep all my gains with 2-3 iu hgh ED between cycles. Hgh does not suppress axis function. In fact it helps stimulate it.

There's no need to give up your health for the sake of trying to keep gains bro.

propkick2's picture

Im not contimplating making the switch right now. Your right growth does help, I on 5 ius rihht now and have kept most of my gains.
