One of the best parts of this site is, it's FREE. Every single thing, all info is available to anyone. I wouldn't want to see that changed. So please don't misunderstand this post. I think it would be great if we had some kind of contributing member program. If your able to, you could give a monetary gift/donation to the site. This site is one of the greatest things I've ever come across. It's changed mine and my wife's life in a very positive way. To help offset the cost of everything I'd be more than willing to do this. Doing this however should not in any way give the people that do it a pass. It should actually hold them to a higher standard. If you love this community enough to come out of your pocket for it. You should love it enough to follow the rules and make sure those around you do as well. This would take a lot of thought of how to do it right. I'm also sure it would cause some drama if it was implemented. There's a lot of titty sucks around here. Every other day someone would complain so-n-so didn't get a ban for this or that cause they paid. That's the reason you would be extremely accountable for your actions as well as those of others. I think it would overall make the site better as a whole. The best employees have an ownership mentality where they work. They try and save their boss money. Be more efficient. Mainly take pride in what they do. I take pride in being a member here. I strive to learn more about the things we talk about so I can be a positive influence on the community. That's an awesome thing. I know there are more dudes like me around here. I see it in the forums and SI and review pages everyday. From ADV to LVL 1 members. Sometimes when the lower ranking dudes speak up they don't get the same respect as a higher karma guy. Even though they may have been a member longer. Even know more than the larger number guy. If you want to find negative in this you can. Easily. The positive isn't hard to spot either. Most of us work our ass off for our dollars. We covet them. So if your willing to part with some of them to show your appreciation to the people that make this site possible. You must give a shit. You must want it to stay around and be a positive source for research, scientific, and real world information. That being the case you also wouldn't mind being held to a stricter standard. I'd like to hear what everyone thinks about this. Good or bad. That's another thing that's awesome about this site. Our input matters. While the do's and dont's are Admin's decision. What the community thinks matters. If you took the time to read all this thanks. I would really like to see a program like this implemented.
