ad
Been isolating arms to a single day.
Trying to build peaks on these biceps but I know your genetic disposition is a major factor in this area. Any help with training this area is welcome

something my buddy just showed me that he got from an ifbb pro was "occluded" training...look it up, works wonders on arms/quads/hams/calves, we have been doing it in our routine for about 3 months now and both seen huge gains from it
Looking awesome bro!
The arm isolation is certainly proving effective!
MR

loki12Damn! Dense, Solid
Thanks!! I don't ever get any smaller than this
Looking fantastic brother! You possess such a great build! Massive, yet refined and shapely! Beautifully sculpted arms with full muscle bellies and distinctive separation! Granted, genetics and muscle insertions are primarily responsible for dictating length, shape and peak! An exercise utilized by Bodybuilders of the Golden Era and still used today to enhance bicep peak is spider curls! They can be performed on a Preacher-bench with no angle involved! I sincerely hope this helps! +1 for a majestic build!
Your words always designate with me brother Theo. spider curls will be researched & added to the program
Thank you kindly brother SuperMax! Please allow me to share something with you which I found amazing! I recently came across a video of Phil Heath performing spider curls, an exercise that Larry Scott was famous for which has fallen out of favor! The first and undefeated Mr. Oylmpia and the current Mr. Olympia! Two legends with world class epic dimensions and incredibly developed arms!
Is there a link you could provide to this video? Where did you see it?

Here is another one spider curls
Thanks for sharing brother John! Informative instructional video!
I just had that open in my phone from when you suggested to me so I thought I'd throw it up while I was looking for those drag curls.
Let me try brother, I'm so computer illiterate! Lol! You tube Phil Heath spider curls!
Have you tried drag curls?
I have not. Got to research that one
Here is a video
drag curls
Ask & you shall receive!! Thanks a lot fellas, I'll be putting this in for work!!
Thanks for sharing brother John! I've never heard of this exercise and I'm a fan of the late Vince Gironda! He was very eccentric and a proponent of esoteric techniques! What a spectacular and futuristic build he had in the late fifties!
Much respect for sharing with us!
bigwillyLol looks like you just busted threw the wall of super max. +1 big dog.
Fuck yes!! Walls down ceiling down!! I'm getting out this bitch!! Lol
Thanks big willy!
I'm sending you a pm
I've found that incline curls help with the peak. Also narrow grip ez bar curls hep build up the outer part of the bicep which makes it look like it peaks more from like a back double bi, and the same thing goes for wide grip ez bar or barbell curls for the inner part.
Ace VenturaDamn, bruh!! Lookin pretty shredded these days! I do curls in the cable crossover. Put a single handle to the top on each side, grab, squeeze like a front double bicep pose. You ever do that shit, playboy? +2
Indeed I do. I like to even break it down as far as single arm exertion holding the uprite of the opposing side to keep for. Curl up & extend down twisting the stretch at the bottom. I feel this excersize builds the most pump in the bies for me
You look super, Max. +1
Thank you, feeling super.
SuperMax is actually a maximum security penitentiary
bigwillyIs it. Man I bet that's a gloomy place.
Spider curls
Lookin awesome brotha man!! +1........take a straight barbell an bend over like ur gonna do bent over rows, keep hands like shoulder width on bar an do strict curls trying to lift the bar to above your forehead. Really really concentrates on the peaks/long head of bicep. Hope it helps!
Thanks!! A lot of great information being dished out here!! Wish I would have waited to get my workout in until after I posted to apply some of these lifts but you know, test is higher in the AM right
you ever try to hold the dumbbells all the way to the top and slowly turning them in at the top? but seriously lookin good brotha +1
No, but I'm gonna now. Thanks Ted. Good to see you on here agian
good to be back. i definitely feel a nice pinch on the inside of the bicep where it should peak when i do it this way. let me know what you think of them
look good bro...incline curls are suppose to help peak i believe...they are brutal...+1
Slow strict perfect form concentration curls till they feel like they are going to bust the skin. Anyways looking jacked +1
Thanks brother. I use 3 different movements & most of them are single arm. Slow with elbows pinned out.
Spider curls as an alternative. It's easy to fall into the same routine with arms. With so many different exercises for them there's no reason for that.
