IM pinning

ad

Well I decided if I'm ever going to try a stronger compound than var I should see how hard IM pinning is. So I pinned my left delt 2 days ago. (.5 test prop just testing the waters) So I repeated the process today on the right delt and learned I am not ambidextrous.

So ladies what's your pinning technique for IM? Do you only pin one side? And don't worry I'm not doing anything stupid, but I am planning to run something stronger at some point in the distant future. Primo, NPP, IDK yet it takes me forever to research things before doing them. But pinning is something I can figure out in the mean time. Smile

I believe you said your hubby started pinning too? Why not have him help you out? I do Squadoosh's and he says the pinning and pip is was easier with my help.

If it comes to that I will Smile But I'd rather do it myself, his schedule has him gone for 2 days then home for 3 then it just repeats so I can't depend on him for it. I think if I can master quad pinning I will be ok.

Quad pinning scares me lol i am really comfortable doing his delts and glutes. But good for you graduating to pinning I'm too much of a sissy lol

I doubt I will ever be able to pin glutes lol That's where all my fat is, I'd need like a 3 inch needle :/

Oh the replies that I could make to this.

lol, yeah I just thought of a few things myself.

I also just pinned my quad, not bad at all. Thanks for that link it's very helpful.

No problem. A lot of people don't like quads, but I love them. Delts are my least favorite just shows how everyone is different.

I can see my quad that makes it easier IMO. I'm also using a 29g needle lol so there's no pain Smile

I pin both sides of my body, but I'm left handed and definitely much better when i use that hand. It just takes some practice. And the first few times are never as smooth because of being nervous and stuff.

My hand shakes, only my left though. I guess it's normal since I never use it.

Ya you'll get better with it, just takes some time.

Most deff need to rotate sites .. If you having trouble pinning with your non dominate hand try laying down and pinning with your non dom hand that way till you get better at it.. It helped me and I still do it because I'm not flexable anymore .. Hope it helps also you need longer pins.. 25 gauge 1 inch should be perfect for you I would go in 3/4 of the way it insures you get IM and not sub q .. Draw it with a 23 gauge .. Have a super sparkly day:))

LMAO, thanks for the tips my day was pretty sparkly

You need to switch pin sites to let virgin muscle heal, and avoid scar tissue build up. What length and gauge needle did you use.

I'm a sissy I used a slinpin, it was prop so it pulled easy SLOW but easy. My first go was flawless, but when I switched hands today to pin the other side I got a little pip. And I can feel a tiny little lump, we are talking about less that 1iu of prop so it's hella tiny but when I pinned the otherside there was no pip and no tiny lump. And I did aspirate both times, watched a youtube video on how to hit the right spot. I even drew out a triangle on my delt. lol I'm crazy paranoid about doing it right.

It will be a long time before I do a pinning cycle, but I want to have it down. And that tiny bit of test gave me stamina like I've never seen in the gym so I am very interested now.

What was the length 1/2" you could have went sub-q. When you do decide I'd get some LL syringes and needles. Load with a bigger gauge and switch out for the smaller. I use 5/8" in the delts, but mine are pretty lean. Using your non dominant hand is more difficult. Introducing new sites may help. I love quads either one allows me to use both hand to steady the needle.

I think that's what happened, the angle was funny and somehow I went subQ. I have an assortment of needles. But I also have tiny delts, lean but small. I was worried about going too deep.

When you pin quads, where on the quad? It's a pretty big muscle. From the way it went this morning, I do not think I will ever be able to pin left handed. Of course I could let my husband pin me but that's scary too lol

Basically if you placed the palm of your hand on your hip and the length of your hand from the knee cap up anywhere in between. Top and outer part of quads a big area so there are many spots to hit. I use a 1" 25 g, but you could use a smaller gauge if you like. Check this site out (http://spotinjections.com/)

Awesome thanks.

No problem happy pinning. General rule of thumb is the bigger the muscle the larger volume of oil it can hold. I know you won't be using much, but for when your husband decides to. Glutes are a good choice for first time injections, usually very forgiving.
