So I went to planet fitness today cause my gym is under construction painting ect today... Chest day so I maxed out at 435x 3 reps and management walked over and asked me to leave lmao !!

TARANISOut of 30 years training and in and out of countless gjm's, thats the most incredible thing i have e ever heard, that has to be a joke , i regularly play with that weight even heavier on the smith ,it aint as if its gonna break or some shit, what excuse did they give you, were you ""GO ON ,GET UP THERE"": OR SIMILAR(issue over noise) ?

Why would they do that, its just ridiculous, i think there maybe just wanting the image of a health club and not a heavy hitters gym.

Planet fitness dumbells only go up to 60lbs...If all PF franchise are set up the same which I'm sure they are.....I'm trying to figure out where you found 435lbs in hard rubber plates?? You must have used all the weights in the free weight area....haha
It's not for bodybuilders thats for sure....I can max the stack out on all their machines.....hence the name Fitness. They blow the whistle if you grunt/drop a weight or let the stack hit too hard/ect..
Good for pre-comp......not for off season training.

I always try to keep a positive attitude and I have heard nothing but negative things concerning this franchise! It would appear they are against people looking to improve and progress! If I had to choose between lifting at home or there, well, the answer is quite obvious!

I've read that before.. There are hundreds of the same type stories in the net just like this one .. Here is the only thing , I get there philosophy by no gym intimidation thing cause most people that join there are just starting out and feel scared or out of place I get it. But you would think they would want some fit people there as an inspiration to others as long as they wasn't putting the out of shape members down
We don't have planet fitness in the UK so this shit is all news to me lol it's either the greatest marketing ploy the world has ever seen or the most unethical one, maybe both :/
